A MELODY IN OUR EARS
Horus walked towards his clan, saw them whispering among themselves, and quickly sauntered into their midst, and announced.
"I have agreed to your proposition, but I have a deal as well."
"You have our ears, speak. The remainder of truth." One among the named Hooray answered back.
"Yaris is on his way with a multitude of warriors, and we will all be slaughtered in a few hours."
"What did you want us to do? We can see them, as they descended the spaceship."
"I have a plan that can make him listen to us."
"Please tell us what you have in mind." The tall and grimly looking named Hooray replied.
"I have the original scepter with me, and I want us to be in the position to unleash it before Yaris arrives."
The Hoorays at the meeting nodded their heads in agreement, and one of them let out.
"If he refused and order his followers to attack us-"
"Then we will unleash the scepter." Horus cut into the speech of the speaking alien.
"And we will all die together." The Hooray concluded his speech.
"You are truly wise!" All the Hoorays exclaimed at Horus's wisdom.
"So what did you want us to do?" One among the alien's team leaders asked after some moment of exclamation and stunned gazes at Horus.
"I need all the ropes attached to your armor, tied together, to be long enough to reach the face on the rock."
"That will be done, anything else?"
"Yes, the face is located at your back, I want you to protect the human that will be stationed close to it."
"Your instructions were precise, and your demand will be supplied in a few minutes." The Hooray answered back, then signaled to his clan to follow him, and they walked off the meeting point.
"I will be back with her, and you can arrest me after," Horus shouted after them.
"Aye, be quick. I can see Yaris has already killed all the humans on his way." One among the ongoing Hooray answered back.
Kira and Akira were seen whispering from ear to ear, some miles away from the rest of the gang.
"We are about to lose the scepter, lost all our warriors, and failed in our mission," Kira whispered to her sister, as both of them withdrew to the far corner side of the rock.
"Quite unfortunate!" Akira exclaimed back.
"Let's remind Brenda of her promise to us."
"What if she refused?"
"Then we fight them." Kira let out.
"We can't fight against a whole army!"
"So what did you suggest that we should do? We can't lose everything, as well."
"I have no idea."
"Look, here comes Horus, I suggest we walked close to hear his feedback."
"Aye, let's go now."
The twins instantly turned about, then raced towards Brenda and the rest of her gang.
"They have agreed to my suggestion," Horus announced, as soon as he arrived amid the anxiously looking humans, who seemed to be counting his steps as he hopped closer.
"That sound like a melody in our ears." Maria let out, a wide smile.
"I need one of you to volunteer to be in the position, to be able to unleash the scepter, if Yaris attack us."
"What will happen to the volunteer?" Kira asked, as soon as she stepped into the midst of the discussing gang.
"I have no idea, I'm just aware that whoever unleashes the scepter will be in a position of the world control."
"You mean the new world leader?" Akira asked with a fixed gaze.
"Yes, he or she will be in the position to return everything we took from you," Horus replied.
"And what if he or she finds some region unworthy to be saved?" Akira asked.
"That decision is left for the volunteer to make, and out of my reach. Though I wonder why the person will act like that." Horus stopped, looked at all the humans in his presence, and resumed his speech.
"Look at all these aliens that will be losing their life today, not only for you but for mother earth. If you continue with your seven deadly sins or raping of mother earth, then more dooms await you."
"The seven deadly sins? I only heard of five." Dija let out.
"Aye, they are seven, whoever told you of five is keeping two away from you," Horus answered back. "Pride, greed, lust, envy, glutton, wrath, and sloth."
"I suggest that my sister should step forward and perform this," Kira announced.
"Yes, you promised to hand the control of the world over to us. Remember?" Kira said.
"I remembered we had an agreement, but you betray us," Brenda answered back.
"You can't go back from your promise, we will stop all of you." Kira snarled and sauntered toward Brenda.
Bobby leaped into Brenda's front, to shield her from any assault or spell from Kira, brought out his sledgehammer, and glared back as she walked closer.
"One more step and you will be dead."
"We have no time for this conflict. You need to decide now." Horus cried out.
"I suggest we vote." The commander-general of the jihadists announced.
"I think that's the only way out," the jihadists' general let out.
"I vote for Brenda," Bobby said.
"For Brenda," Horus let out.
"For Brands," Dija muttered.
Everyone at the present voted for Brenda, and this leave the twins with no choice, and they humbly withdraw their assault, then walked off the meeting in anger.
Yaris warriors quickly put the humans on their way to death, circled the rock, and jumped into the hole that leads to the inner side of the rock.
Everywhere was deserted when Yaris and his Hoorays arrived.
"Search everywhere, and bring any humans found to me." Yaris shrieked out.
Before the emergence of the aliens into the middle of the rock, all the inhabitants of the rock had disappeared into the various caves inside the rocks.
Two men were seen hidden inside one of the caves as they whispered among themselves.
"You and your gang brought this to us." One among the men lamented.
"Be patient, the scepter will soon be unleashed, and the aliens will be dead." The second man whispered back.
"If only those fools had not brought the lady and her boyfriend into our hideout, we would have been remaining to be saved here."
"And how long will you remain hidden?" The other man asked back. "We are here to unleash the scepter and save your coward's arse."
"You call us cowards? You... You that you are hidden here when your wife is out there fighting. You are a big fool for calling my people cowards." The other man, now angry screamed back.
"You can go to the top of the rock if you are brave enough, and not be fuming with rage while hidden." The other man answered back with a hiss.
A light suddenly loomed at the two men and a threatening voice of the alien that shine the light screamed out, as his dazzling arrow illuminate the dark cave.
"One move and you are dead."
At the end of the alien's raiding, ten humans were captured from their hideout, then brought into the presence of Yaris, and he glared at them, with all the anger in him for a while, then asked after.
"Where are the steps to the top of the rock."
"We have no idea."
"We are strangers here."
"Please spare us, we are innocent."
Yaris's blue eyes became darker, as his anger overcame him. With just a punch, he smacked the face of the nearest captive, and grinned with satisfaction, as the man fall dead.
He whirled at the next man, raised his hand, and was about to smack him when a voice let out.
"I know the way up."
One aged man with a bald head announced stepped in front of Yaris and signaled to him to follow him.
