One more item
"We call on the power and principalities in control of this realm." Akira cried out.
"Come and aid our ritual of perfection," Kira added.
"The power of fire and water." Akira let out.
"And of air and sand," Kira announced.
"And of iron, the last but not the least." Both twins cried out together.
They waited for a while but nothing happened.
Kira and Akira were seen inside Olumo rock.
They both wore white regalia and stood barefooted in the middle of a pentagram symbol drawn with chalk on the floor.
Akira hold the scepter in her right hand, while Kira carried a jar filled with the water they had scooped up from the confluence of the warm and cold water in Ikongusi town.
"One more item needed for our ritual," Akira said.
Kira swayed as if dancing to unheard music.
She suddenly stopped and cried out. "Aye! We need the fish that can't be beaten by any mortals on earth."
"I know where such fish exist." Enoch the serpent chipped in.
Akira fixed her eyes on the serpent on the ground and said. "Thank you, Enoch."
"You shall guard the scepter once more as we go in search of the fish," Kira announced.
"Strike to death any man or woman or alien that come closed to it." Akira declared.
"I have a request from you two," Enoch mumbled. It wriggled close to Akira and bowed its head. "I beg you to turn me back to human."
"That can be done when we are back." Akira pledged.
She hold her sister's hand, and both twins walked out of the inner side of the rock and emerged outside where guards stood at alert awaiting them.
"Come here, Augur!" Akira cried out.
"We are going on a mission and need ninety-nine more men as guards." She added as the man appeared in her front.
"Aye. That will be arranged immediately." Augur replied and hurried out of her sight.
"What is to be done about Zuri?" Akira asked her sister.
"He should stay and guard the scepter, along with Enoch," Kira answered back
"Did you trust him?" Akira asked.
"No, but I trust Enoch." She replied.
The twins soon neared the guards on line for the mission.
"Rest very well tonight, we move tomorrow morning," Akira said to the waiting men.
The fight rage on for an hour, to the surprise of the alien who underestimates his human opponent.
Durell fought bravery, attacking with a sword he picked along the way and defending himself against the force of the enormous alien who fought dangerously.
The alien's weapon hovered close to his breast, and Durell quickly kneeled to avoid the blade, then lunged towards Horus and smacked his head into his torso.
He promptly clenched his arms to lift the alien off his feet, but the weight of his opponent is beyond Durell's expectations, so he unclenched, and that was his mistake.
Horus pressed a button close to his wing and a loud bang was heard.
A big ball-like weapon plummeted at close range and landed on Durell's face. The force knocked him off his feet and he landed on the ground.
Horus breathe loudly thrice, he leaped at the human on the floor and hastily put him to death with his dagger.
His eyes searched around for Maria for some moments, not seeing her, he assumed she must still be within that environment, so he raced towards the route leading out of the village and jumped over his broken tracking device on the ground.
Finding Maria without the device is quite difficult, if not impossible. And he can only get a new one in Guara town where their stocks were kept. So the only option is to catch her before she drifted far away.
He whistle loudly to inform his guards of his movement and darted into the forest in search of the missing lady and was followed by his two guards and some of the Big Tiger's men in pursuit.
Brenda and her team galloped nonstop and only stopped when they reached the village where Elenu was waiting for them.
They alighted and laid under a tree by the roadside to rest for a while.
"We can no longer stay here," Apollon777 mumbled.
"Yes." Brenda agreed. "They will be back for her."
"Where are we going?" Zuma asked. "And what about the scepter?"
"We need to save Maria's life first," Brenda answered back.
"If Three Hoorays can journey to that far place in search of her, then I agree she is vital to their plan in getting the scepter." Bobby put in.
Reagan hold Maria's hand and tugged her close to the group. "Thank you all for helping me out." He said with a smile and a salute.
"How is she feeling now?" Brenda asked Reagan as he joined them.
"She is still clueless of who I am or where she is, she can't talk and keep looking as if expecting something or someone to just pop up from somewhere," Reagan replied.
"We need to get her far from here to a place where I can operate on her," Apollon777 explained.
"I have a place in mind," Zuma mumbled.
Elenu hopped out of the mattress. He walked naked towards his clothing tussled carelessly on the floor and picked them up.
"Are you leaving me?" A beautiful woman on the mattress asked with an awful stare that doesn't sit well on her perfect face.
"No my love, I will be back for you."
The lady leaped out of the mattress and lunged at the man, then hold him by the hems of his shirt. "You promised never to leave me." The lady's voice now sounded more like screaming.
"Yes, and I ain't leaving you," Elenu replied. "I just want to join them in search of the town where we can settle down permanently."
"No." The lady screamed back. "Except we go together."
"It will be a tough journey," Elenu replied.
"Please don't leave me." The lady pleaded.
Elenu smirked then walked off Shua's front. He opened the curtain of the room and stepped into a veranda that lead out of the house. Then toward his friend that gathered under a tree beside the roadside.
Shua ran close after him and soon meet up with him. But Elenu ignored him.
"I will be following you," Elenu said.
Brenda smiled at the two couples then asked Shua why she look sad.
"Elenu wants to run away from me," Shua replied.
Bobby moaned softly and then whistle.
"Your leg is not yet healed," Brenda said.
"I can't stay at home when you all go around saving the world," Elenu mumbled with a sad face.
"Let her treat your wound and your soul," Zuma whispered with a glint of humor in his voice.
"Argh," Elenu replied, he tried to smack his right-hand palm on Zuma's head, but Zuma bobbed it and step out of his reach.
"You will resume saving the world along with us when your wounds are fully healed." Brenda finalized.
Shua jumped up and hold Brenda in a tight hug. " Thank you." She whispered.
