Vengeance begins at home

Love is a Christian word, a Christian thought. Dija has no words for love. Duty, loyalty, desire, and discipline, that's all she ever has, all she ever needs.
Yet dogs don't bark without seeing, and it was the evil of men that make horses horrible, so goes the story of Dija the assassin woman.
Dija grew up in a loving and happy home under a godly parent, but all this was soon destroyed by the spite of men.
Dija's father was a wealthy man who wished to share his wealth with others to make their life less unbearable.
As a known philanthropist, he had impacted the lives of thousands of bereaved families and homeless children, and his legacy will always remain at the heart of those who have benefited directly or indirectly.
Jimmy as he was popularly known greatest error was to involve himself in politics.
"How can I help my people when am not in the position to execute projects that will make life pleasurable to them?" He argued with his wife when she bemoaned his sudden interest in being the executive governor of his state.
But the crying woman begged back. "I'm having awful feelings about this, please let's look for other means to help our people."
"Woman intuition," Jimmy reasoned and quickly dismissed her to attend a political meeting.
Evil struck one night, it was a few days to the primary election that will be determined who will be representing the party in the general election.
Known to all and sundry, Jimmy's opponent was a dog that can only bark but can't bite, but he was rich. Besides, a primary was a necessity.
That unfortunate night, nine men squad of political assassins invaded the soon-to-be governor aspirant and stormed inside after killing their four security personnel on duty.
"We warned you about your political ambitions but you spurned." The assassin cried out, immediately they gathered all the inhabitants of the room and forced them to stoop face down.
Nine years old Dija looked into the assassin's eyes and was quickly yanked down by her shivering mother, but not before she imprinted the tattoos on the men's neck in her memory.
"You have your chance to step down honorably but your obstinacy won't allow you to." The assassin's leader resumed his speech.
"I'm... My people... Please don't... Don't." Frightened Jimmy stammered back.
"Keep shut." The man barked back. "Now let's see how your people will save you."
The two gunshots Dija heard was the one that claimed the lives of her parents, and that was the beginning of her headache. Her father's wealth soon diminished under the new supervision of her uncles, and the last straw that broke the camel's back was when she was sexually abused by those who claimed to be her guide.
When she speak out, society quickly blacklisted her as the black sheep who is set to tarnish the names of her opulent uncles.
At the age of thirteen, Dija eloped with a youngster to know the world and quickly deserted him when she met the gangs that suited her desire.
For the next ten years, Dija learned everything needed to be an assassin, and she soon became unfathomable and started on her mission.
Charity, they say begins at home, and so should be revenge. First was the mysterious death of her two uncles by an unknown killer who ripped off their manhood and stuck it into a hole dug beside them
The case was not yet cleared when another unseen tragedy occurred, the state's former governor and also a seating senate were murdered in cold blood, and as before, the culprit remained at large.
But Dija was not yet done but strived after those men with dragon tattoos on their necks, then the knockout occurred. Dija, with the hope of finding her culprits, searched all around until she reach Gujarat town, hopped over their tall walls, and soon intermixed with the inhabitants who hardly challenged the presence of ladies.
When the twins mysteriously arrived, she decided to join them in her vengeance mission.
Today, Dija was seen stepping beside the twins as they walked through a deserted tarmac, on their way to recover the stolen scepter.
"Why did you decide to join us?" Akira asked the fair and hairy lady.
"Your aura speaks of vengeance and wrath," Kira added.
"Your words were true and I have great resentment against humans," Dija replied.
"Humans were bunches of clowns and need iron hands to be handled," Akira announced.
"What errors were committed against you," Kira asked after.
"They bite the fingers that feed them out of cruelty," Dija replied.
"I can feel your pains, and assured you your vengeance will soon consume all your adversaries," Akira announced.
"Only if you pledged loyalty to us." Akira declared.
"I pledged my loyalty to the twins and vowed by the power of the scepter to remain your humble servant," Dija replied, she stooped and touched the twin's leg with her two palms.
"Rise, our humble servant." Akira cried back.
"Rise and lead our team to victories," Kira added.
"Our spaceship had been found." One Hooray at the monitoring system inside the base headquarters screamed out and instantly informed Geisha through phone call.
"I will be there in a short moment," Geisha replied over the phone.
The caller bobbed his head and instantly disconnect the call.
For hours, he had hunched over his tracking device to locate the stolen spaceship, and now, all his effort had paid when he locate the blinking light of the missing spaceship amidst a big vast of water.
"Where are they?" Geisha asked immediately he entered the big hall that look like a laboratory.
"The point here represents our stolen ship while the blue background is a vast large of water bodies." The Hooray replied as he point to the blinking green light and the blue background.
"How far to our location?" Geisha asked back.
"Few hours on the air." The man replied.
"Send the location to my gadget now," Geisha replied and stormed out of the room to arrange for the team to go in search of the ship.
Minutes later, the alien's spaceship was seen hovering out of sight for the great search that lasted for some hours. At last, the spaceship was found inside the ocean that served as the boundaries between Nigeria and the neighboring African countries and was quickly brought back to base for repairing and servicing.
But the spaceship wasn't the main source of Geisha's headache and he would have gladly sacrificed all the spaceships under his command to achieve his mission. Destroying the scepter.
As for Horus, he has fully awake from his slumbering and was seen making plans for his escape. He had made the sudden decision to betray his boss and the humans with him out of greed and he now truly regretted his action. But was is done is already done, what matter is the way out.
"I need to get out of here." Horus soliloquizes alone. He hopped up and grabbed the iron window from its hold but the well-cemented iron remained unshakable, so he gave up, no way there.
Another option soon presents itself but something is missing.
The missing item soon appeared when two Hoorays who had gone drunk from humans liquor were arrested and tossed inside the cell where Horus was initially locked.
"No love," Horus murmured. As he removed a gadget that look like a human's cell phone, pocketed it, stooped to remove the long iron chain attached to the two Hoorays' bodies, and joined them together with his own, he then fastened it back on the two Hoorays' bodies and flung it over an iron attached to the roof of the cell. The chain passed through a wide hole in-between the iron and fell on the other side. Horus went close, picked the rope, and started using it to climb out through the small alcove at the upper side of the cell.
When he reached up, he quickly shattered the woods used in constructing the alcove and peeked out.
The backside of the cell was dark and empty, Horus jumped down and sneaked into the bush, then over the iron meshed into the street.
Horus raced like a rabbit, in pursuit by hunting dogs, and only stop when his legs gave way under him.
"Where am I heading?" He asked himself after some minutes of deep breathing from his exhaustion.
His clan doesn't believe him, and he had already betrayed the only friend he had and the humans who do.
"What am I going to do?" Horus asked again.
A beautiful butterfly with a rainbow flew close and settled on the troubled alien's body, but the butterfly instantly hopped and fly off, when Horus tried to touch its beautiful wings.
"Even you don't trust me?" Horus screamed with anger.
"I don't trust you all, and you can go to hell for all I care."
No love. But at last, Horus decided to search for the humans he recently betrayed and the only friend he would have gloated at his death, if not for the invisible hands that fly the spaceship off the base.
