TIP OF THE TONGUE
"What did you have to say to our demand?" Akira inquired. Her speech instantly broke the sacred silence that engulfed the whole arena.
"Such tricky bastards," Apollon777 smirked at the twins in his front.
"It can be arranged after we unleash the scepter," Brenda replied after some moment of deep thought.
"What if you breach your promise?" Akira asked.
"Humans are known to be unreliable." Her sister added.
"As long as you keep your bargain and fight along with us against the Hoorays, then we will keep our side of the bargain. " Brenda replied.
'Even if you refuse to fulfill your promise-" Akira let out, paused as her sister cut in, then grinned at their listeners.
"Our words are binding and we are not making this promise with double tongues," Maria answered back.
"We have our means of making you fulfill it!"
"We understand your words and have no wish to breach them. Brenda answered back.
"We need to march on, time wait for no man!" Bobby said.
"Time wait for no aliens as well."
"Immortal warriors." Kira cried out.
"Lead the way," Akira added.
The legions of doom sauntered in hundred, and the twins galloped at their back on two whites horses.
"They look royally!" Maria exclaimed at the twin's majestic gesture and taste. Both had dressed in pink flowing gowns, adorned with real gems.
"And beautiful!" One among the general let out.
"But horrible," Brenda mumbled. "What they did to those humans is unpardonable and inhumane."
"Am not deceived by their beauty, as I can see what lies beneath those innocence looks." Horus let out. "I won't be laying my life down for this kind of selfish human!"
"Who said you will, am sure the twins also knew all the promises made today were made with the tip of the tongues," Brenda answered back.
"I'm surprised they even consider truce in the first place, this is unlike them!' Augur said with a puzzled look.
"Yes," Dija said in support, the twins were known to be rigid and will never partner with any gang, nor keep any promises they made."
"Why did they agree to ally with us?" Maria asked. "They have a better chance of plunging into us and getting us killed."
"I think they were afraid," Brenda answered back.
"This is unlike them, they were never afraid and always quick to attack. Besides, the way they stared at me, send a shiver down my throat." Augur let out.
"They were up to something, and whatever it was, I'm sure it was for another mischievous purpose," Horus announced.
The whole column soon reached the remaining of their gangs, while those stationed at different strategic positions to protect the humans and aliens who went to dialogue with the twins soon galloped close and joined them.
"This is the last boundary, and we will enter into Niger state as soon as we pass that bridge!" Roland, who was just waking up from sleep, walked close to the whole column and announced. "We will be parting soon."
"Yes," Bobby replied. "It's been fun killing along with you guy!" Then make a face.
"You need to be serious for once!" Brenda cried out at Bobby's funny face.
"I suggest you followed us down to our boss's place, we want to introduce you to him and also get permission to accompany you in saving the world." The grey hair general announced.
"That will delay our journey." Horus let out.
"Yes, but will help in another way, if the twins have something in their sleeves, you need all the men you can get to fight their overwhelming forces." The second general said.
"How may days journey from here?" Brenda asked.
"A day," Roland replied. "Please come along, and I will beg my father to allow me to go with you."
"We will be glad to have you along, hope you won't run off at the sight of those deadly jihadists!" Maria jeered back.
"Or the twin's legion of dooms and their horrible grunt." Bobby sneered.
Roland tried to look formidable but soon gave up at the unsuccessful gesture. Ain't much a fighter like you all, but I can keep you alive with my motivational words."
"As if we need a clown!" Horus smirked out. He walked close to his horse and hopped on it. Then glare as Roland raced towards him with a dagger poised.
"You dare call me a clown! I will have your head, for this insult."
"Please be my guest," Horus replied, smiled as some humans leaped into Roland's way to block his assault, then grinned as Roland fought feebly, then gave up after some few struggles.
"You are saved by those who hold me down, but mark my word, you are a marked alien!"
Roland's words may be pronounced in a moment of anger, fueled with liquor. Yet it had been the truth and nothing but the truth.
From the moment Horus had escaped the cell where he was locked, he had been a marked alien.
But now, his condition had become so critical, the moment the king had to disclose his identity to Geisha. He is now sought after by the most powerful alien in the whole African region.
Horus's chance of survival is slim.
Geisha's phone rang and he instantly accept the call.
"Horus had been found, and he is in few kilometers away from you." The voice on the other side announced.
Geisha breathed with relief at the words that boomed into his ears. "Can you send me his precise location?"
"In a few seconds, sir." The voice answered back.
Geisha waited in silence.
One second. Two seconds.
His gadget blinked on his center table, and Gheisa smiled for the fifth time since he landed on earth.
"It's been sent sir, please check your mail." The voice on the other side of the call let out.
"Good, it's been delivered," Geisha replied. "I have already ordered your transfer into my department, as my system manager."
"Thank you for such honor!" The voice on the other side of the call announced. "What about getting me named?"
"One step at a time, get your arse over here first."
Geisha disconnect his call, walked towards his gadget, jerked it off the table, and peered at it. "You are dead at sight, Horus!"
