"We need a name for our gang." A fat, tall, black man with a straw hat on his head and a big sledgehammer over his shoulder said to the twins when they entered inside Ekiti state.
"What is your name?" Akira asked the huge man.
"Augur." The man replied with a toothless grin.
"What name will you suggest?" Akira asked.
The man think for a while, removed his straw hat, and scratched his bald head. The scepter's gang conformed." He replied after a minute of scratching.
"Then our name is the Scepter's gang," Kira announced.
The man smiled and walked back to his waiting comrades to share the news.
"We are staying there over the night." Akira cried out, pointing at the hotel by the tarmac.
"Augur! Come forward." Kira ordered.
Augur immediately run to the front and bowed in front of the twins.
"You are in command tonight, put men as a guard," Akira said.
She hold her sister's hand and both entered the big deserted hotel by the highway.
The inside of the hotel was dirty, but the tired twins climbed the step in the middle of the hall and locate a room to lodge for the night.
Augur beam with a smile at his sudden rise to success.
He instantly divides the whole column into ten units and appoints a team leader to supervise the team while he remains the superior boss, only accountable to the twins.
Each was to patrol the area for thirty minutes, while others are sleeping, and to wake the next team up for patrol when their time is up.
Being satisfied with his arrangement, he climbed the steps the twins had previously climbed and opened an untidy room.
He removed the dirty bed sheet and laid on the bed, falling into endless nightmares...
Elenu was treated to a sumptuous meal of pounded yam and vegetable soup with a jug filled with palm wine. He laid on the only bed in the poorly furnished but clean room and talked to the lady laying on the floor beside him.
"Come over to the bed and let me sleep on the floor."
"No," Shua replied. "You are hurt and need to be convenient wherever you sleep."
"Then sleep on the bed beside me," Elena said, patting the space he had made by moving closer to the wall. "This is wide enough for the two of us."
Shua objected for some minutes but later succumb to Elenu's persuasion. She rolled into the bed and turned her back to him.
"Thank you," Elenu muttered.
She ignored him, closed her eyes, but the scent of the man at her back keep appearing in her vision, his dark lips, broad chest, and strong arms.
His warm breath caresses the back of her neck, arousing her and making her desire to be held in his embrace.
Silent engulfed the room, Elenu closed his eyes and pretend to snore softly. The maddening pon...pon...pon... sound of his heartbeat as his heart pumps his blood at an unbelievable rate keeps sounding in his ears.
He believed his fragile heart, denied for a longer time of love, sex and intimacy are about to explode, and he can feel the sensation from the tips of his feet to the hairs on his head.

After what seemed like forever silence, Shua turned towards Elenu and inquired. "Why aren't you sleeping?" She shifted closed to him and said. "I know you want me."
Elenu was dumbfounded and gazed at the lady speechlessly.
"I want you as well, but am scared you will also leave me." She said, putting her arms on his chest and looking into his eyes.
"No," Elenu muttered softly. He embraced Shua tightly and gently stroked her plaited hair. "I will never leave you." He promised.
"Before all gods?" She inquired.
"Yes, before all gods." Elena touched her lips with his finger, then he kissed her.
His kiss was hot, demanding, and passionate.
His hand moved over her neck, shoulder, then to her breasts.

"This is where they were lodging." The leader said as they walked silently towards the entrance of the hotel.
Ten guards lay sleeping on the floor, the ten invaders instantly descended on them and slaughter them with their swords.
Then they walked back to their horses and carried gallons filled with unknown liquid material, then placed the gallons in different places around the hotel.
Two among them went and brought two more gallons, opened it, and pour them all around the hotel.
The whole gang walked some kilometers away, their leader removed a bow and fixed it with an arrow blazing with fire, and shoot it towards the hotel.
Fire instantly engulfed inside and was followed by a loud deafening eruption as those chemicals inside the hotel exploded.
The men in black nodded with satisfaction, they climbed their horses and galloped away.
"No one messes with the Conqueror and go scot-free!" The leader cried out amidst laugher from his fellow warriors.
Augur walked with confusion, then stared at the glowing approaching him.
"Where am I?" He asked with fear.
Suddenly, the glowing turned into a burning inferno and raced towards him.
"Hell." A voice boomed out of the inferno.
"Don't I have to die before going to hell?" Augur asked the booming voice.
"No." The angry voice hissed louder as the inferno came nearer.
Augur can feel the heat, the burning smell of the wood, sand, and flesh.
"You are already in hell." The voice barked at him.
"No!"
Augur screamed back as the fire raced closer.
He tried to move his stationary feet, but his feet keep ignoring the message to flee but remained fixed on the exact place.
The heat descended on him, consuming him, then he wailed out in agony.
Augur screamed and immediately woke up looking stunned.
"Where am I?"
He looked around and instantly jumped up in fright.
The fire had engulfed all the building and the cry of men can be heard as they thrashed around inside it.
He tried to escape through the door but was soon blocked by debris falling from the burnt roof.
"No way here!"
Augur screamed with shock.
He raced to the window, scattered the sliding glass with a punch, and jumped froglike out of the window.
Augur can feel the exonerate pull of gravity as he plummeted into the ground below.
"Damn choice!"
He tried to scream but the breeze tore the noise out of his mouth.
He realized he can't survive the fall, the impact alone will kill him.
Down below, another blast of explosion rage where he will be landing.
Augur pray this is just a dream, pray it had all been a dream. The knockout, the comet, alien invasion, and this fall with the fire below.
The truth hit him and he muttered as he landed inside the inferno.
"This is as real as a baby deer calling out for its mother!"
He prayed for his soul to make heaven and escape the torment awaiting him in hell.
Then the vision of his dream flashed through his mind.
He screamed for a while, then laid dead inside the inferno that had killed all the inhabitants of the hotel.
Brenda and her team galloped through the night and arrived at Gujarat town the following morning.
They alighted close to the town and tied their horses inside a bush, then sneaked into the town through the broken wall made by the dynamite of the scepter gang.
They immediately hid inside one of the rooms attached to the main wall.
"What are we going to do?" Zuma asked Brenda who stood in his front.
"Our color will give us out, and our friend here-" Bobby paused and point at Apollon777 then resumed. "This people will not welcome an alien."
"Stay here," Brenda said. "Don't come out except you heard cries of war or you reckon we are in trouble."
"Okay," Apollon777 answered back.
"Bobby, Zuma, Sebastian, and I will enter inside and ask for asylum. We will stay with them and find out where the scepter is kept."
Saying this, the team entered inside the town and were immediately spotted by three men with weapons.
"Who are you, and why are you here?" One of the guards fired at them.
"We are in search of where to stay, please allow us to be living with you," Brenda answered back.
"Where are you from?" The guard asked back.
"We were traveling over your country when our plane crashed and we landed inside a river. Since then, we have been looking for a safe place to live."
"And this black man?" The guard asked, pointing at Zuma. "He is one of us."
"Yes," Zuma answered back.
"Go back to your town." The man said.
"I have no place to go," He replied, then add "They are all I have."
"Follow us to the king. His decision is final." The guard said.
He turned and was followed by Brenda and her team while the other two guards stood at their back.
The group marched through the town and emerged at the most elegant, fenced, building in the town. They walked towards the magnificent big gate and were instantly stopped by the guards.
"Wait here." The guard leading them ordered. He went to the guards at the gate, talked to them for a while, turned then pointed at Brenda and her people, and resumed his speech.
"Is this the palace?" Bobby inquired from one of the two guards at their back.
"Yes, this is where our king and queen live." The guard replied.
The guard leading them gestured for them to come nearer, and they all entered the magnificent building to meet the new king of Gujarat.
