The decoy
It is a child that has never seen another man's farm, that will be bragging about how big his father's farm is.
This was the case of the Hoorays with Geisha when the scepter gang's zombies plunged into them.
The more they fight and kill, the more the immortal warriors fight on.
Some without a head, legs, arms, or half part of their bodies, yet they dragged the remaining part and fought on.
They were caught in-between the scepter gang and Big Tiger's gang at the other side, and their dangerous position make it impossible to retreat nor advance, except the few who have already escaped to raced after Maria and her gangs.
Geisha was seen giving out instructions to his Hoorays.
His phone rang and he picked it up instantly, listened for a while, boobed his head and disconnect the phone, then cried out to his warriors.
"We need to cut through the mobs in our front and pursuit Zuri and Horus. I was told they were with the scepter."
The aliens, at last, cut through the midst of the Big Tiger's gang and instantly raced in pursuit of their target. But the confrontation had cost the lives of half of the warriors Geisha went out with. The good news was, the scepter had been found.
"The Hoorays are hopping closer," Brenda shouted at the top of her voice, but half of her screaming was lost in the wind that tore to pass.
Apollon777 jerked his horse, galloped close to Brenda, and announced. "We can't lose them with the speeds of the horse."
"We have no choice, as we can't outrun them on legs either," Brenda replied.
She glanced back and can see the Hoorays emerging at the corner far behind.
"We need a plan." Bobby who just galloped close to them let out.
"Unfortunately, am out of any plan," Brenda replied.
The sun blazing in the sky suddenly disappeared and clouds of rain emerged. The bright atmosphere was unexpectedly blackened by the absence of sun and was soon followed by winds and whirlwinds.
"I hope it rains soon," Zuri announced as he joined the team and was soon followed by Horus.
"Yes. " Horus agreed. "Hopping on the slippery ground will be difficult for us." He admitted.
"We just need to lose them for some moments, then maybe we can disappear for a while. " Zuri replied.
"I bet you have a plan," Horus asked with a smile.
"I always do," Zuri replied. Then stared at Horus for a while and asked. "Why did you alert me of our clans invading?"
"Because you let me live when you can easily kill me, and besides, my greatest dream is to be named." Horus paused, bowed as his horse galloped faster, and resumed. "You will always remain, my master, because I can't achieve my dream without your recommendation."
"I did not kill you because your death will be a great loss to the Hoorays. Unfortunately, they still can't comprehend your invention, but ordered for your head," Zuri replied.
"Death," Horus said, then spat out. That is the only form of punishment known among the Hoorays.
"Our weakness is our rigid constitution," Horus announced after some seconds of meditation.
"Yes." Zuri agreed. "But without it, we will be undisciplined and uncultured like humans," Zuri added.
The fact he had joined forces with Brenda and her people did not deter his dream of a perfect and unpolluted earth.
He had joined Brenda at last when he discovered their patriotism towards their motherland and not for any personal gain, unlike the twins.
When given a chance to choose between the unknown devil and the known angel, Zuri prefers Brenda and her few devoted members to the twins with their infallible powers and numerous followers.
If only a truce is finally agreed on between his clan and human, then he will vote for Brenda to lead the new world order.
The beautiful white lady with her bewitching smile had won his heart, a feat thousands of the opposite sex of his clan, that he had met with in his seventy years old of innocent existence were unable to achieve.
How he wished for the presence of Sebastian and One-eye. He had struck a bond with them and prayed they made it through the conflict.
Especially One-eye, the man's notorious charisma will be needed in the war that will soon ensue.
Their prayers were answered as heavy rain descended from the sky.
And like all first rain peculiar to that environment, it rain cats and dogs and lasted for hours, and the Hoorays lost track of their pursuit and were later met by the rest of their members some hours after the rain subsided.
"Even nature seemed to be working for the humans against us." Geisha lamented as the physician attends to some Hoorays who had gotten wounded during the fight and the chase that followed.
"We will find them, soon." One Hooray close by assured.
Geisha pressed the place where his phone was located and dialed a call. The phone only ring once and was immediately picked up by the Hooray at the other side.
"I need you to track Zuri and Horus and informed me of their location as soon as they were found." Geisha barked into the phone mouthpiece attached to his wings.
"I will message you as soon as they were found." The voice replied.
Geisha ordered his warriors and they soon leave their resting place and hopped in search of the scepter.
They traveled for hours, through the route they believed Maria and her gang must have passed.
"Horus and Zuri had been found." The voice over the phone cried out.
"Good," Geisha replied. "Send me their locations now." He ordered as well.
A minute later, a green light blinked on the gadget in his possession and Geisha opened it, stretched his fingers towards two dots on the screen, and announced. "We turn left at that junction."
A T-junction was seen close by, the call was timely and Geisha smiled for the first time since he landed on earth. Maybe nature had decided to be generous to the Hoorays because of his grumbling.
When Zuri was thinking about One-eye and Sebastian, the two men were seen galloping through the road Brenda and the rest of the crew had passed and they were followed by the remaining twenty men. They had met the aliens when they were relaxing under an overhead bridge and they had immediately hidden inside some houses beside the highway.
Shortly later, the rest of the aliens hopped into sight, and the whole column soon hopped out of sight.
One-eye, Sebastian and the men with them instantly galloped after the aliens, but they remained out of sight.
When the alien turned right, a disagreement instantly popped up between One-eye and Sebastian.
"Brenda and the rest are going to Niger state and will be following left," One-eye argued.
"The aliens were going right, maybe Brenda and the rest change their route and followed the right side," Sebastian replied.
"No," One-eye shouted at him. "This route can never lead to Niger state, but will lead back to our starting point."
"The aliens were not fools and know what they were doing, they have the latest gadget to track people when our inventions have stopped working." Sebastian keeps arguing.
"I will be following the plan on the ground." One-eye declared.
"And I will be going after the aliens Sebastian declared back.
In the end, One-eye and his men parted with Sebastian, and the lone man galloped after the aliens, while the rest of the crew went after One-eye.
