CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT

Geisha ordered for another section of five thousand Hoorays, and he was at the point of ordering them into the war zone when his phone rang, and he instantly picked it up.
"Horus is not with those gangs you were fighting against but had retreated into the northern flanks, some kilometers from you." A hissing voice boomed over the speaker attached to Geisha's wings.
"How is that possible, you told me he was marching along with this gang!"
"He was, but had now followed another route into a different location," the voice hissed back.
"Send his location to me now!" Geisha barked out and was at the point of disconnecting the call when the voice at the other end announced.
"You have a mail from the royal court, sir!"
"Send it over." Geisha barked out, disconnect the call, and looked lost in thought. But the buzzing sound of his gadget brought him out of his trance.
He instantly walked forward, jerked his gadget, and peered at his mail.
As expected, the first mail was from the royal court, and it was to remind him of his appointment with the senators in twenty-four hours.
"Twenty-four hours is a long time, and a lot can still happen before then," Geisha mumbled, then peered at the second mail. It was the geographical location of his arch-enemy. "Here, you are. Horus!"
With the remaining of his legion, Geisha marched forward and only one problem lies in his way, the legions of dooms.
The aliens soon reached the front of the blazing circle of fire and Geisha ordered his warriors to halt, then peered at the circle with a curious face.
"What lies ahead?" Geisha asked himself, it looked like an ordinary circle of fire and he can even see the other side from where he stood.
Curiosity, they say is what killed the cat.
At that moment of knickknack, Geisha allowed his sentiment to take hold of his mind and decided to go through the blazing circle of light, against his judgment and his screaming intuition.
He divided his teams into three, motioned a section of five thousand Hoorays to branch left, another five thousand to branch right, while he lead the teams of five thousand Hoorays that will be stepping through the blazing circles of fire.
Unfortunately, this sole decision of Geisha was the last straw that broke his camel's back.
In truth, curiosity killed the cat!
Geisha hopped into the circled of fire and was instantly teleported along with his five thousand Hoorays who hopped after him, into the Amazon jungle.
To Geisha, he seemed he just plummeted from the sky, pulled by gravity into a thousand feet below.
When he landed, he was surprised to remain intact despite the maddening speed and unbelievable height.
"This is magic!" Geisha exclaimed.
Hooped off a fallen Hooray who just plummeted from the sky and landed with a loud thud beside him.
"Where are we boss?" The Hooray asked with a stunned.
"Get off that place now," Geisha screamed, shoved the Hooray off, and smirked as more of his warriors landed from the sky.
In a few minutes, the jungles were filled with five thousand Hoorays who looked as lost as a kitten in a new environment.
"We are all going to die!"
"If I escape from this, then bye-bye to humans and their damn earth."
"We can't escape alive."
Geisha close his eyes and tried to block the frightening speech of the grumbling Hoorays out of his ears.
To Geisha, one thing is certain, whatever brought him here must either return him or he will find a way out.
Death is not among the options!
"We all sign our death warrant, the moment we stepped inside that ring of fire!"
"Aye! We are all going to die."
"Keep your mouth shut, bring out your weapons and make a way out of this thicket!" Geisha screamed at the negative Hoorays who are dead even before death finally arrived. "Or I will be killing you one by one by myself if you dare murmured!"
The Hoorays instantly keep mute at their leader's outcry.
When the cat is angry, the mice must scurry to safety or get eaten.
As for the other two sections of ten thousand Hoorays, they hopped over the wooden fence, then plunged into the midst of their opponents and conflicts occur.
But before then, the twins, aware of the remaining overwhelming aliens and their slim chance of surviving their ferocious attack had laid the remaining of their dynamite, connect it with some dried cell batteries of phones and microphones, then drugged the ground and hide them, after placing different weapons and blades on it, like a time bomb for the incoming aliens.
"Stay close, then ignite it when they come near!" Akira ordered some zombies who smirked close to her. "And wipe those irritating smirking off your faces!"
"Others should form ten lines and counter-attack as we retreat."
The aliens, after putting those zombies awaiting them at the other side to death, instantly galloped after the retreating legions.
"They were retreating in fear!" One among the Hooray cried out.
They were weaklings and must run at our overwhelming force." Another Hooray rambled.
The legion of dooms retreating encouraged the scared aliens and they galloped faster, unknown of what lies ahead.
"Where is commander Geisha?" One among the named Hooray asked with a puzzled look." He should be here by now?"
"I just called him, but he wasn't reachable." Another named Hooray answered back.
"What of the warriors with him, none of them was ever seen, since they stepped into that blazing circle of fire."
"Yes... Yes, I haven't seen any of their section, since we arrived."
"What is going on?"
"No idea, mate. This earth is a confusing place, and incomprehensible for me!"
"What should we do now?"
"We plunge ahead, and await his call, or any new order."
"Aye, we have no choice, but to obey the last order."
'Attack them,' Geisha had ordered, and this the Hoorays are bound to do with the last drop of their blood.
The aliens came close, then scrambled into the field.
Some zombies stood close and looked foolishly at the incoming aliens.
"Kill them now!" One among the named Hooray cried out, at some of his close comrades.
And what happened next, remains incomprehensible to the survivors.
It happened like a flash of light, then the whole field was engulfed in some thunderous sparkles that soon turned into a consuming blasting of flame.
At that moment, the various body parts of the aliens were severed apart, by some of the weapons placed on the dynamite and by the forces of the dry batteries attached to it.
It lasted for a few minutes, only two suicide bombers were able to slaughter one thousand Hoorays in a few moments.
"I suggest we call our base since commander Geisha is no longer available." One among the lucky named Hooray who just lost all his left-hand fingers announced, as he was been attended to by the physician.
"I dread to make such a call, what if commander Geisha arrived and asked who made such a call?" His comrade who nursed a bleeding foot answered back.
"If you wanna die here, do, for me, I don't!" The named Hooray instantly dial the emergency number.
"Commander Geisha is nowhere to be found, and we are losing a lot of casualties every hour!"
"I will inform the necessary authorities and get back to you in a few minutes." A voice boomed back from the gadget that served as the alien's mobile phone.
Sometimes quantity matters, despite the great loss of men by the jihadists, they were able to penetrate the middle of their opponents and were in upper hands when another column of men on horses suddenly plunged into their midst.
This sudden assault disarray the organized jihadists, who now need to veer around, to protect their exposed commander-general and his generals.
As for the commander-general and his three generals with him, they quickly cried out to their men to form a barricade to stop the incoming men on horseback. And in a few minutes, four hundred men had lined up, brandishing their weapons as the men galloped close.
Despite the column of men at their front, the incoming men, led by the two generals, who just disobeyed their boss, and stole his horses, galloped closer, saw the jihadists from far then plunged into the midst.
"A kilogram of gold for any man that brings me any of the general's head!" One among the general announced.
"And ten kilograms for their commander's head!" His comrade let out.
"What if they were caught alive?" One among the eager men asked back.
"Then multiply your reward by two!"
When Brenda and the column with her saw the jihadists retreating, they all stood for a while, confused at the sudden retreating of their opponents who are at the point of victory.
But when they saw the incoming column and the risk their sudden emergence had put the jihadist leader, they promptly understand why they had to race off, even at the sight of victories.
"Let's give them no time to reorganize!" Bobby announced.
"Damn jihadists, you soon made me fall in love with killing you!" Apollon777 let out, with a smirking face.
"Let's attack them now!" Brenda cried out, jerked her horse furiously, and lead her gang as they descended into the camp of the jihadists.
Dija rode beside Augur and glared at the big man with pure hatred.
Hatred so scorching that even Augur who galloped some miles off seemed to feel the heat, veered on his horse and glared back at Dija for a while, then smiled back with a puzzled look.
"Patient!" A voice screamed inside Dija's head.
"Am trying, but it's difficult!" The sad lady answered back.
"Remember the seven-folds, keep him somewhere until the perfect time, the perfect moment."
"How can I ... Oh... How can I, despite what he did to me... To us?" Dija asked the voice in her head.
"Patient, Dija... Patient. Remember the vulture will only strike at the perfect moment, that was why it was always revered and treated like a demigod."
"I will be patient," Dija muttered back, cleaning some tears gathering in her face, and jerked her horse so furiously that the innocent animal whined louder, then hopped higher in a bid to throw its rider off its back.
"Sorry mate, just getting impatient again!"
The jihadists saw the incoming mobs at their front, then another in their back. They ran helter-skelter in the commotion and even their generals and commander-general were at a loss of what to do, while they all scurried around in safety.
This gave the two assaulting mobs the chance they had been waiting for, and they plunged into their opponents and started slaughtering them.
In a few hours, the jihadists lost more men than they had lost since the day this war started. And most of them instantly tossed off their turbans and scraped their beards off as they run for their lives.
Some prisoners of war were caught and they all laid flat on the ground and prayed for mercy from their conqueror.
Where are the commander-general and his two generals?" The grey hair general asked with a tired frown.
"Here they are!" Some groups of men marched the three men into Brenda's front.
"We brought them alive since that makes them more expensive!"
"Did you now see the outcome of these conflicts?" The grey hair general sneered at the men kneeling in his front. "Did you have anything to say to save your lives?"
"We are sorry, ready to join your gang and let bygone by bygone." The commander-general replied.
"Join our men with what? All your men have raced off, except the few captured with you!" Apollon777 retorted back.
"You are wrong," the commander-general let out. "Once a commander, will always be a commander. I can gather a thousand men in a day."
"What did you all suggest?" Brenda asked.
"Kill them of course," Apollon777 answered back.
"He was my friend, until we parted and joined a different gang, I am ready to accept his friendship back if truly he is not saying this with a Janus-faced." The grey hair general let out.
"And you, Bobby?" Brenda asked the silent man who glare at the three men in his front as if they don't exist, and he can only see three annoying flies.

"In war, no permanent friends, nor enemies," Bobby replied. "Let's let them live, if they are ready to pledge their allegiance to us, and will stick to their promise."
"You claimed he was your friend before things fell apart?" Brenda faced the grey hair generally and asked. "How valuable are his promise?"
"If he is ready to swear by his god, then he will be bound forever." The grey hair general answered back.
"And are you ready to swear by your gods that you will always ally with us and that our enemies will henceforth be your enemies, while our friends will be your friends?" Brenda asked the men on their knees, who shivered as they await the verdict that will pronounce them dead or alive.
"Aye! Before Allah, we are ready!" The men answered back in a voice.
"Then welcome to the team," Brenda announced.
"Thank you for giving us a second chance, may Allah bless you." The commander-general bowed before the compassionate lady.
"And bless you too."
