A PENNYWORTH
Some hours before Yaris and his new arrivals warriors reach the top of the rock, Horus and his human friends were seen discussing the plan on the ground.
"We need a decoy, in case Brenda was spotted by the aliens before she can be able to unleash the scepter," Bobby suggested as soon as Horus presented the long rope needed for Brenda to reach the side where the face is engraved on the rock.
"Good idea, we can't put all our eggs in one basket." Maria let out.
"Then we need more ropes," Horus announced, veered, and raced back to his awaiting clan.
The commander-general whispered to his generals, and one among the two men left the presence of his master, and soon returned with three more men.
"They will serve as the decoys, and will be stationed around the rock to confuse the aliens." The commander-general of the jihadists announced.
Horus soon returned with more ropes, and the three volunteers tied the edge of the rope and tie it around their waist.
When all the four humans were set, Horus positioned all of them at opposite angles to each other, and at that moment, Yaris and his warriors arrived at the scene.
Inside the familiar auditorium of the king of the Hoorays, thirteen aliens were seen in deep discussion over the affairs of the state.
"Our hands are tied, and we should give up." One among the senates let out.
"We will be shamed by our rival clan, and won't be a pennyworth, in their eyes after this." The king announced with a sigh.
"Our warriors are revolting, and I believe the fault is from Yaris." Another senator mumbled.
"He claimed they object to the use of our weapons of death on earth." The senate leader explained.
"But they are comfortable to use it over here, that was why I said we should blame Yaris and not the revolving Hoorays. Don't forget he is not one of us and wasn't aware of our culture yet."
"It's different, my able senator. Our planet's gravitational pull is weak, and the toxic residue of the weapon will not settle in our atmosphere, unlike on earth." One among the senate clarified.
"He should have ordered them to use the other weapon."
"He claimed they won't lift their fingers against humans when they were guilty of the crimes we were punishing them for." The senate leader answered back.
"So what can we do? Accepting defeat is very uncomfortable." The king asked with a forlorn peek.
"I suggest we call Yaris and find out the present situation over there." The senate leader answered back.
"And if it's still the same report?" The king asked back.
"Then we have no choice but to accept defeat. It's better than getting all our clans on earth wiped off. " The Senate leader retorted.
"Aye, as long as they continue with their evil way, we can restrategize and invade them in the nearest future." One among the senate Hooray mumbled.
The Senate leader dialed the numbers on the gadget on the table in his front, waited for a while, and looked grimly as the automated voice at the other side let out in a sweet and melodious voice.
"The number you are calling is temporarily busy, please try again later!"
Hours later, Yaris received the call that informed him of the discovery of the human that will be unleashing the scepter, and he quickly informed his warriors to kill him or her, then waited on the line until he was assured the humans were killed.
"Go close to him and search for the scepter, then call me back when it's found," Yaris ordered, disconnecting the call and smiling triumphally.
Satisfied with the outcome of his plan, he hopped closer to Horus and the mutinous Hoorays' camp, and let out as soon as he is at earshot.
"I have killed the human that will be unleashing the scepter, and my warriors will be bringing the scepter to me now-" Yaris paused, veered at Horus, scowl his face, and shrieked out. "
"I told you that is not over, Horus."
"Yes," Horus agreed. "There are four humans stationed around the rock, and you have only succeeded in killing one."
"You are lying!"
"Am not, kill one more, and the scepter will be unleashed immediately."
"I don't -" Yaris halted his speech when his gadget rang. He accept the call, watched Horus from the corner of his eyes, and asked after.
"Have you seen the scepter?"
"No, we have searched everywhere, and there is nothing here, except dried leaves and rotten logs of woods." A voice at the other side of the line answered back.
"Keep searching, and call me as soon as it's seen." Yaris barked out, disconnect the call, and glared at the shrewd alien in his front.
"It's over Yaris, one more shot on humans, and the scepter will goes boom."
Yaris' murderous glare turned violent, as he swiftly jerked his bow and arrow, and was about to shoot at Horus, but four Hoorays leaped at his front and peered back with a determined scowl.
"One shot from you, and we will all be dead." One among the Hoorays who leaped in Yaris front let out.
Yaris's gadget rang and he instantly picked it up.
"We have seen the human stationed at the side of the rock, what should we do?" The voice on the other side of the call asked.
"Wait a moment, I will get back to you," Yaris answered back, disconnect the call, jerked his head up, and was about to address Horus when his gadget rang again.
"We have been dialing your number for a while, what's the update?"
"Still the same, all my plans to leverage our chance are futile."
"As an experienced warrior, and in the war zone, what is your suggestion?"
"My job is to obey and not to suggest, but since you ask for it. I suggest we stepped down and withdraw all our assault against humans. We have no choice, after all."
"Then go ahead, withdraw all troops, and await further instructions."
"Yes, your lordship," Yaris answered back, paused for a while, and asked when the call is about to be disconnected.
"What about all their toys, should we disbarred them?"
"No, they will need to pay to get their toys back, or start from scratch, if they want, in the meantime, I will suggest you returned to the base and rest for a while."
"Precisely clear, your lordship, but what if they unleash the scepter at our back?"
"They won't, they still need us to get things sorted out."
