SENDING DOGS AFTER WOLVES
The two generals along with their men walked close to the big gate of the tall fence, and one among them knocked.
A few seconds later, a man peered through a hole in the gate, then opened it and gaped at the generals in his front. "I wasn't aware that you are back."
"We arrived early this morning, and we are going on another errand for the boss." One among the two general announced.
"Another errand? Boss didn't inform me of any upcoming trip?" The man opened the small gate, then stepped to allow his visitors inside.
"When did our boss start consulting with you before we embark on a mission?" The second general inquiry.
"Oh... Not what I mean-" the man halted his speech. "You guys need to rest!"
"We will when we will. How many men are here with you?"
"Four of us, others were sleeping since it's my turn to keep watched."
The general close the small gate and stepped at the back of his comrades. "We need you to go and join your comrades and have a sound sleep."
"You are joking, right? You know the boss will fry my arse if I dare sleep on duty." The man answered back with a smirk.
"What if you don't have a choice?"
"Well, I always do, I mean what is my-" the words from the guard's mouth froze, as at that moment, someone whacked a heavy rod on his head, and he slumped and fainted.
Unfortunately for him, he didn't have a chance this time around.
When the four guards woke up, they found the big gate opened, and over a thousand horses gone. The men searched thoroughly and they were able to catch thirty out of the lost horses. After several hours of more searching, which produce no result, they were forced to go and informed their boss of the calamity that just befell them.
Unfortunately for them, bad news spread faster than the good ones, their boss had already learned of the stealing and had sent some of his men to find the four guards and bring them to him, dead or alive.
When the men arrived at the scene of the theft, they quickly arrested the four guards, bound them with chains, handcuffed them, and carried them to the presence of their boss.
"Since you ordered for them dead or alive, we also brought the corpse of the wounded guards during the assault." The leader of the guards, who had arrested the guards announced, after a bow at his boss.
After many questions and inquiries, the only man that has an idea about those who stole the horses and left the gate open was dead, and others were soon slaughtered to appease the fury of their boss, who stormed with anger at his loss.
"Those damn generals of mine dare stole my horses!"
"They will be found, sir." One among the men replied in a soothing voice, then quickly became mute, when their boss glared at him with a killing look.
"Will that bring back my horses?"
"So sorry sir-"
"Sorry for yourself and get lost out of my sight... No... Come back here!" The booming voice of Roland's father terrified all his men, and they quickly cowered out of sight.
But not the unfortunate man, who was now called back into the presence of the fuming boss.
"How many horses did we have left?"
The man scratched his head in confusion, but the snickering voice of his boss soon brought him out of his reverie.
"Are you deaf as well, or did I need to remove your head before you speak out?"
"One hundred and fifty horses, sir!"
"Spread the news, we marched out tonight!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Only their two heads can cool my anger," the fat man growled out with anger.
The war between Brenda's column and the jihadist raged on through the day, till night, then over the night, until the following daybreak.
The position of the jihadist's opponent was an advantage against the jihadist, only a few hundred of them can march at a time towards the other gang, who stayed rooted on a hill, that is only accessible by a narrow uphill route.
With these advantages, Brenda and the column of men and aliens with her were able to counter-attack the assault of the jihadists and suffered few casualties, compared to hundreds of jihadists who lay lifelessly on the battlefield.
But as time goes on, the men soon became wearies from the constant assaults of the jihadists which are multitude in numbers.
"And where are the saviors that were promised by your generals? Apollon777 asked with a frown at the grey hair general.
"You keep fighting and remained alive until the saviors come." The grey hair general, who was seen soaked with blood from head to feet cried back.
He leaped at two jihadists in his front and plunged his two daggers into their necks, jerked them out, and plummeted on another jihadist. "Tell your commander-general to stop sending his dogs against wolves, he is using his friends to feed his enemy."
The grey hair general whispered into the ear of a man in his front, hopped and severe his head off.
"Take it easy on those poor dogs!" Apollon777 exclaimed at the general's skills and swiftness. Only this man had increased his admiration of humans by hundred folds, which was only surpassed by Brenda's affection.
To him. Brenda is not only human but divine, and she can be compared to the only light that leads the way to human victory against the forces of darkness looming over the earth at this moment.
Without her, the world and her inhabitants have no chance, but will soon be swallowed by the awaiting gloom that may soon go boom.
How he wished humans will be wise for once, unite with each other and fight the invading aliens who represent nothing but evil.
If all hands should be on deck, then the Hooray's chance of winning is drastically reduced, as they have to fight against a united army, instead of different factions of untrained mobs.
Unfortunately, humans are now fighting against each other, instead of facing their common enemies.
What did you expect, when fools ride on horses and the wise walked at their back?
Chaos!
Nothing but chaos!
Those in the position of power always think of themselves, their families, and relative, and after these, others can go to hell, for all they care!
Their uncaring attitude now gave birth to mayhem, plunged the world into a world war, and then into more miseries that soon followed.
When the wall of a house breaks up, lizards and geckos can penetrate inside and dwell with the inhabitants of the house.
The earth is the broken wall, lizards and geckos are the aliens, and those unfortunate inhabitants are humans.
At last, the visitors are here to dictate for the house owner.
Unfortunate, quite unfortunate!
