THE BEAR AND THE BEAST

The war between the jihadists and Brenda's mobs of men and aliens raged on for more hours.
Two men circled Brenda and slashed at her, she stooped to escape a thrust that would have severe her head, whirled of another thrust, and rolled at the closest among the two jihadists.
"Arg!" The man cried out as the lady whacked her head on him, jerked him closer, and dipped her dagger into his throat.
The second jihadist leaped at the back of the fighting lady that just slaughtered his comrade. He raised his sword and slashed it at her.
Brenda stepped left, and only escape the blade in an inch, she jumped up, whirled in the air, and smacked her legs on his face.
The man was stunned for a while as stars from nowhere seemed to be circling in his gaze.
He staggered forward, tried to block what he thought was a fist, then cried out as the blade pierced his palm, then into his gut. His pleading eyes became silent when the lady removed her dagger and thrust it into his throat.
Four jihadists circled Apollon777 and Maria, and the pair stood back to back and glared back at their assaulters.
"Can you still recollect how Ruana fought or you have forgotten everything, now that you are Maria?" Apollon777 asked the lady who leaned her back on him.
"Yes," the lady retorted back. "Will you fight and stop bickering!"
"Then let's show this weakling what stuff we are made of!"
"Be my guest."
"Two thrusts and a jab!" Apollon777 screamed out, whirled backward, and tossed the lady fighting along with him towards two jihadists who were stunned for a while at his speed.
Maria rolled in the air towards the two jihadists, spread her legs apart as she plummeted closer, then front kicked them in the face, and landed on her two feet, she dived at the closest of the staggering men and jabbed him in the gut.
Apollon777 was at Maria's back as soon as she somersaulted backward. He grabbed her waist, turned her in the air, held her right leg, and turned about with her.
Maria slashed at the men as they leaped close to her reach, then smirked as Apollon777 suddenly jerked her close, turned her in the air, then flung her at a huge jihadist with a big sledgehammer.
"Bicycle kick!"
"Damn you, that's too close!" Maria yelled back, whirled in the air, then bicycle kicked the man twice in his face.
The man staggered, dropped his weapon lunged forward, and knocked Maria's weapon off her hand.
Maria stooped to avoid the man's deadly embrace, but the fat man moved faster, jerked her closer, and whacked his huge head on the lady's delicate face.
Maria stumbled backward and was almost hitting the ground when a strong hand heaved her back to her feet, and an alien hopped on the fat jihadist.
The man saw Apollon777 leaping forward, he quickly picked up his sledgehammer, then leaped at his attacker, and whacked at his head as he came close.
Apollon777 stepped off the man's whacking, hopped up, and severe his head off with a slash of his weapon.
He veered back, then grinned as Maria stepped beside him. "Are you okay?"
"Just a bruise from where Reagan stabbed me."
Apollon777 looked grimly at the hearing of Reagan's name.
To him, Reagan will always be a rival.
"Look out!" Maria cried out, dived forward, and hacked a man in turban down with her sword. "Keep woolgathering and your head will soon be removed from your shoulder."
As usual, Bobby fought with outrage at any jihadists that came close to him, and his prowess soon earned him the nickname; the bear.
When angry, Bobby's punch is as deadly as his whacking of a sledgehammer, and with a weapon and a fist, he punched, whacked, and jabbed at the jihadists who soon moved out of his way.
One unfortunate young jihadist that had lost his turban, but was still betrayed by his bushy beards suddenly found himself in front of Bobby, he tried to race back, but some guards in blue uniforms galloped closer in pursuit.
Only two options, fighting the lone man who glare at him like a bear at an annoying visitor or through the angry men on horses who slashed at any opponent with fury.
He choose what he believed was the best option, raised his sword, and raced at the bear-looking man in his front.
"You know why they called me the bear?" Bobby scream as the man came close, bobbed his thrust, stepped at his back, and whacked his sledgehammer on his head. "Because I fight like one, whenever am angry!"
When Bobby was nicknamed the bear, Dija was given the name; the beast, and she actually, fight like one.
She was seen wiping the dripping blood off the blade of her sword, with the dreadlocked head she just severe.
Three jihadists on horses galloped with swords projected at her, and Dija veered around and raced in retreat.
"The beast is running off in fear!" One among the jihadists exclaimed.
"Get her!" Another jihadist cried out.
Dija raced, then halted suddenly, she put her sword in her mouth, leaped up, and hold a branch of a tree that stood on her side.
Her movement was sudden, and the men on horses tried to slash at the lady who rolled over them as their horses passed under the tree branches.
When Dija landed on her feet at the back of the galloping horses, only one among the men halted his horse, veered around, and glared at his two comrades who lay dead on the ground, a few feet from him.
Nobody advise him to gallop off the beast range when Dija raced after him.
It was a jungle, peaceful, except for the presence of the screaming aliens who suddenly found themselves in this strange place.
But to those who live in villages and jungles and cities as well, the Amazon jungle will be a place of terrifying adventures, and to the aliens who grew up in deserts and Just suddenly plunged into a thick forest, the experience is beyond expression.
"Where are we?" A terrifying voice screamed as a large black mamba snake curled close to him.
"This is not real, is only in our imagination." Another terrified alien let out.
"Look out!" The first speaking alien cried out to his comrade as the snake suddenly dived forward.
"It's not real, nothing to worry-" the words froze in the speaker's mouth when something big collided with him, knocked him down, and promptly rolled around to constrict him.
But his comrades leaped close, then hacked the snake off his body.
"This place is dangerous and is real!" One among the aliens screamed out, at the sight of a bit big cat that suddenly pounced on the alien that was just saved from the mouth of the black mamba snake.
