Multiple personalities

"The scepter has been taken by a machine." Enoch the serpent replied.
"We asked you to guard the machine until we return." Akira cried out in anger.
"That no man, woman, or alien must touch it," Kira added.
"I have obeyed your instruction, the scepter was taken by a machine." Enoch cried back, dragged its stony body toward the twins, and stood on its tail. "I have obeyed your instruction so far, and I expected you to keep your promise and change me back to human."
"No!" Akira shouted back. "We asked you to guard the scepter until our return."
"But you have fooled by a human-machine," Kira added.
"I beg your pardon, did you claim I failed you all?" Enoch asked back with surprise.
"Yes," Akira answered back.
"You failed miserably and must be punished. Kira added.
Enoch, the serpent remains silent for a while. In his bid to satisfy his masters, he ends up disobeying them.
"You asked me to stop humans and aliens from touching the scepter and I have done that." Enoch cried back and quickly added. "To claim I failed you is unbelievable."
"Halt," Kira shouted at the serpent.
"You will be punished for your ignorance," Akira added.
The twins joined their hands together and cried out.
"We commend the element of sand."
"Hear our summoning and harken to our words," Kira said.
"As a mother hear the wailing of her children," Kira added.
"We hereby return your curses, and you shall remain a frozen serpent for eternity." The twins cried out together.
"No!" Enoch screamed back. "I have obeyed -" utterances froze on the serpent's mouth and it immediately changed into a stony snake as it was first seen before the twin's interference.
"How are we going to find the scepter?" Akira asked some moment later.
"We will ask the element of sand, air, fire, water, and iron, to search for us," Akira replied.
The twins held each other's hands and cried out together.
"We begged you, oh power that lives in the sand and air.
"And water and fire," Kira said.
"And iron, the last but not the least," Akira added.
" We call you to direct our path to where the scepter is," Akira said.
"And to delay our adversaries as we raced after," Kira added.
An orb of light suddenly appeared and lead the way, and the twins in anger stormed out of the shrine to join the awaiting immortal and mortal warriors.
Brenda grinned at Sebastian's demand and asked back. "Why should I hand the scepter over to you?"
"Because Zuri has taught me how to use it," Sebastian replied.
He alighted from his horse and walked towards Brenda and the men with her.
"The scepter is safer with me." He added.
Brenda laughed out loud and patted Elenu that stand beside her on the back.
"Am not fooled by your statement, if you have any knowledge about using the scepter, come along."
She paused looking at Sebastian and rolled her eyes and said. " You must think me a fool, to guess I will be given the scepter to you."
"Sebastian looked at Brenda for some seconds.
He thought of snatching the scepter from her hand and running off with it, but the reality of his condition soon dawn on him. So he succumbed.
" I will be having my chance soon." He thought but said. " I will come along since you doubt my words.
Brenda ignored Sebastian's statement and urged Big Tiger's men to get set for the journey ahead.
"Where are we heading?" Big Tiger asked.
"To Lumbar town, Zuma is waiting for us." She replied.
Elenu at the hearing of Zuma's name instantly spooned back and asked. "What happened to my friend, and where is he?"
"He was wounded during a conflict in his kingdom, but he is okay now," Brenda replied.
"In his kingdom?" Elenu asked back. "He claimed to have lost his memory of home." He added.
"No, he didn't," Brenda announced and added. "He is now crowned as the king of Lumbar kingdom."
Elenu gaze at Brenda with shock. "You are joking, right?" He asked.
"He never told you he was a dethroned king?" Brenda asked back with surprise.
"No. Elenu replied. " If you aren't joking, then Zuma has a lot of explanation to tell me wherever we meet." He added.
An hour later, the whole column was set to commence on their journey, but Brenda delayed them. She looked expectantly at the road, expecting Bobby.
"We move now," Brenda announced after more minutes of waiting.
At that moment, Zuri galloped into the village, and he was followed by Horus, Apollon777, and Bobby and One-eye at his back.
"You aren't leaving without me?" Bobby asked as his horse halted beside Brenda.
"We are leaving but you came at the right moment," Brenda replied, looked at Zuri that just came close on a horse, and she implored.
"Are you here to get the scepter from me?"
"No," Zuri replied. "I'm here to teach you how to use the scepter to get rid of all of us."
"We are traveling to a safer place with high walls," Brenda said. "You can come along, and teach us along the way."
"Let the rest of the people go to seek refuge, while we go and save the world," Horus said with a sly smile.
Brenda looked from Zuri to Horus, she tried to dig into their mind to discover how sincere their offer was, but the aliens were off her comprehension.
"How are we going to use the scepter?" Elenu asked after some minutes of total silence.
"Very easy," Zuri replied. "The scepter must be returned to the home of the demigod who owns it."
"The scepter belongs to Shango, and he was the only son of Obatala." Elenu chipped in.
"I remembered the story you told me," Bobby added.
"So where is the home of the demigod?" Horus implored as he looked from one human to another.
"His father's home is unknown, but his mother came from a place now know known as Buri town in Niger State," Elenu explained.
"I have no idea where the demigod came from, all we were told was to stationed men along the way to the town where the demigod will be heading," Zuri announced.
"What was your suggestion?" Bobby asked.
"Let Reagan, and Elenu lead the rest of the villagers to Lumbar kingdom, while the rest of us go in search of the home of the demigod."
Reagan at the hearing of his name quickly pulled Maria close to him and asked. "I hope she will be allowed to go with me."
"Why not, she needs to rest after a long time of stress and tension," Brenda replied.
"I beg your pardon, but I will only go where my master goes." Maria cried out in a strange voice.
Reagan looked confusingly at her for a while. "I love you, Maria. I'm happy you choose to go with me."
"I'm not Maria, and you are not my master." The lady cried back, she yanked her hand off Reagan's hand and walked towards Apollon777, then announced. "My name is Ruana, and this is my master."
At that moment, a fly buzzed close to Apollon777's nose, and the lady in his front removed a dagger from her side and slashed to cut the fly into two.
It happened within a second, but the speed, accuracy, and motion of her proved to all that glimpse it that she wasn't Maria, but the person she claimed to be.
"Which Ruana?" Apollon777 asked after a long moment of silence and astonishment.
"The same Ruana you got married to, sir." The lady answered back. "Did my lord still mix his meal with white oil or did you now use the red one as I advised because of your health?"
At that moment, Apollon777 felt faint and slumped towards the ground, but the lady beside her dived toward him and yanked him up. "I have missed you, my master." She said, kissing Apollon777 on his lips and holding tight to him.
"Multiple personalities," Zuri whispered.
Another uproar was heard as Reagan at that moment fell and burst into tears. "Where is my Maria?" He screamed out.
Apollon777 gazed at Maria before her and bobbed his head in shock. He had unknowingly summoned the soul of his dead wife into the body of Maria.
Why he pitied the young human named Reagan, deep inside, he felt a kind of peace and harmony he had never felt since the day he lost his mate.
Today, Ruana stood in his front, with the same memory, skills, abilities, and charisma, but in a different body.
