PEACE AT LAST
All eyes fell on the twins, as soon as Akira made her demand.
"Why not, we just need to be sure the aliens are not going back on their words, and you can have it after," Brenda replied.
"The aliens are reliable and will soon be leaving for good. We have waited for a long time to collect what you stole from us." Akira cried back.
"Why did you need the scepter?" The commander-general of the jihadist asked with a disdain look. "To perform your evil deed?"
"Why we need the scepter is no concerned of yours." Akira shrieked back.
"I'm not allying with this gang to get these two wenches what they need, knowing how evil and dangerous they are."
"And what will you do about it?"
"I will order my men to attack you all if you dare give the scepter to the twins." The fuming man screamed back.
"I was Kira and Akira's commander for a while, and I'm sure whatever reason that makes them seek the scepter is purely for a selfish and devilish purpose" Augur hissed and let out.
"I opposed giving the scepter to the twins, and I suggest we keep it somewhere safe. Who knows when the aliens will reappear again." Dija announced.
"So you all planned to object to our demand?" Akira asked with a scowling gaze.
"You are all making a big mistake," Kira cried out, leaped forward, snatched the sword off the commander general's hand, raised it, and slashed at Brenda's neck.
Dija was standing close to Brenda, and she saw the incoming danger and cried out.
"Brenda, get off!"
Without a chance to think twice, and knowing her outcry will be late, by the time Brenda react, she dived into the projecting weapon and tried to knock it off Kira's hand.
Kira jabbed her shoulder into Dija's chest, whirl her sideways, and slashed at her neck to severe her head off.
Dija staggered backward, saw the incoming blade, and tried to step off the slashing, but the blade sunk into her cheek and would have severe her head off if she had delayed a second.
Branda was stunned for a while at the sudden attack, and the sight of the blood on Dija's cheek was what brought her out of her reverie. She quickly shove Kira forward, then slid and knocked her knees as she plummeted.
Dija removed her dagger as she regain her balance, then dived at the staggering lady in her front, and stabbed her in the throat as she wobbled to the ground.
Kira fell with a loud thud and jerked furiously as blood spurted out of her throat and splashed all over her body, then flowed into the ground, and she remained lifeless afterward.
"You have killed my sister," Akira screamed out, raced towards her sister, stopped over her, jerked her up, and embraced the dead lady, then cried out in pain. "You will all pay for this."
"Are you okay?" Brenda raced close to Dija and peered at her battered face.
"Am okay."
Akira stooped over her dead twin's sister and cried for a while. She picked her sister's sword, gazed deadly at Dija, and cursed in silence.
One jihadist with the alien's bow and arrow walked close to Akira and tried to help lift her dead sister.
Akira looked up, as the man walked closer, rolled and collided with his knee, then plunged the sword into his throat, and she snatched his bow and arrow and fired.
"Watch out!" Augur screamed out, leaped at Akira, and knocked the arrow out of the bow as he tugged her off.
Akira staggered to the left, regain her balance, and slashed the arm punching at her.
Augur screamed as Akira's blade severed his hand right hand, he stepped left to avoid the second slashing, rolled on the ground, picked the arrow up with his remaining hand, hopped up, and poked it into Akira's chest.
"Ouch!" Akira exclaimed as the edge of the blade pierced into her chest, and she instantly turned into dark ashes.
Dija raced close to the wounded man as he wobbled for a while, then fell before she can reach his side.
Augur looked up as Dija stooped beside him, and he can feel his life seeping out of him, and everything becoming blurry.
"Get me a bandage."
"Where is the first aid box?"
"Don't just stare, get me the fucking bandage now."
Augur can faintly hear the voices and trampling of feet as people run around to save him, but his mouth produces four words. "Please kill me, Dija."
Dija nodded her head as tears flow down her cheeks. This man had murdered her parent, made her fall in love with him, and now begging her to kill him. Without waiting for a further invitation, Dija picked the dagger tossed on the ground and thrust it into Augur's throat.
And the dying man breathed out and smiled as darkness descended.
At last, he had found the peace he seek, though at the cost of his life.
Aliens and humans intermixed, then formed a circle as Horus and Yaris walked close to each other.
Both aliens glare at each other, then stepped close, circled and Yaris attacked first.
Horus stepped off his upper punch, pared his straight blow, then stepped left as he struck again.
Teasing the furious alien for a while, Horus hopped all around, and Yaris raced after.
"Stop wasting my time and fight back," Yaris screamed out, as Horus dived off his thrust.
"If you are so eager to kill me, then you don't expect me to make it easy for you." Horus retorted back.
"You can evade me forever." Yaris let out and walked close to pin Horus into the midst of his jeering clan.
Horus dived left, then right as Yaris spread his human-like arms to grab him. He jumped suddenly, stretched his leg, and smacked them on his attacker's face.
Yaris feel the pains on his face, having no time to clean the sands that had now splattered into his mouth, he yanked the outstretched hand, raised his leg, and whacked it on Horus's chest, as he loomed closer.
"Ouch!" Horus exclaimed with pain, wobble for a while, jumped up as Yaris struck at his knees, then whacked his head on the stooping alien.
Yaris closes his eyes, as he feels blinded by the pains of Horus whacking. He quickly clasp his two large palms around Horus's leg, heaved him up, and smacked him down on the hard rock.
"You are a weakling Horus," Yaris gloated, stooped over the unconscious alien, and punched his face.
Horus curled his body, then jammed his feet into Yaris's neck, as he loomed closer with his arms raised. He quickly scrambled to his feet, then dived at the incoming alien.
Yaris stepped off Horus weak jabbing, he quickly grabbed his second thrust, heaved him close, and punched him in the stomach, then hopped up and whacked his two knees into his face
Without waiting for the wobbling alien to regain his balance, Yaris dived at his back, hold him by the waist and heaved him up, then curled him in the mid-air and smacked his head on the rock.
Horus fainted for a while, when his head crashed against the rock, when he woke up, Yaris was seating on his chest, and a rope suddenly appear in his palm.
"I will bind you, and drag you home." Yaris let out, loomed closed, and jerked Horus's hand towards himself.
With the last of his strength, the dying alien jerked his body forward to displace the weight on him, he quickly dipped his hand inside his armor, brought out the arrow that he had taken when he was bidding his friends farewell, and rolled after the staggering alien.
Yaris turned back, as soon as he regain his balance, but the sight of Horus at his back alarmed him, and he tried to hop off his reach.
Horus dipped the edge of the arrow into Yaris's thigh, and the sudden puffed up of dark ashes blows over his face, and that was the last memory of the righteous alien, as everything became dark afterward.
