ONLY THE DEAD KNOW

Yaris beheaded the two zombies in his front, and dived off a slashing targeted at his head, then hopped down a man with a turban on his head, and the turban instantly flung off and was followed by the man's head.
A young zombie raced forward, whacked a strong hammer on Yaris's shoulder, and raises his weapon to whack again, but his opponent stepped off his whacking and slashed his head off. The zombie wobbled for a while and instantly fell to the ground as his two knees were severed from their joints.
One of the generals of the jihadists galloped his horse close to the fighting commander of the alien. He holds the rein of his horse with a hand, while his second-hand holds his bow and arrow. A few miles away, he leave the rein of the horse, and with his free hand, he fixed the arrow with the bow and fired.
The blazing weapon plummeted towards Yaris, and it neared and was almost hitting him, when he innocently shifted to the left, jerked the man fighting against him, and tossed him into the incoming weapon.
Yaris was stunned as his opponent burst into black ash, and at that moment, he glorified the benevolent gods and goddesses that keep saving his life from unaware attack.
When he glare up, a man with a turban galloped at the back of the horse, and shoot again.
Yaris hopped off the incoming arrow, jerked a female zombie, and hurled her into the way of the incoming weapon.
The general fired the third arrow, then the fourth, and the last fifth. But the tall and strange-looking alien hopped off and escaped them all.
Left with no more arrows, the general contemplated galloping closer to attack with his spear, or retreating to get more arrows.
His ego win, and he decided to pursue the tired alien. And that was a costly mistake that cost him his horse, his head, and his life.
Yaris whirled and removed an arrow, out of the pouch attached to his armor.
As soon as the man galloped closer, he stepped off his assaulter's thrust, and the horse galloped passed him. He whirled, stretched the hand holding the arrow, then dived after it and its carrier.
The general turned in time and saw as Yaris poked the arrow into the horseback, and he instantly leaped off, as the beast whiny and burst into ashes.
Yaris rolled like a ball on the floor and bounced on his feet, then hopped to knock the staggering man back to the ground, but the man stepped off his way and poked at him with his spear.
It was the general that first draw the blood, as his spear sank into the alien's chest, but this was no reason to celebrate, as Yaris jerked the spear off his hand, hopped forward, stopped to escape his punch, hopped again, whirled in the air and severe his head off.
Maybe his memory will be of regret for not obeying the voice that compels him to retreat, or maybe there is no regret after death, only the dead know.
As soon as Horus informed Brenda of his clan's decision, all the humans around were stunned at the wisdom of Horus, and the sacrifices of his fellow aliens.
"You and your clan are doing a lot for us," Brenda let out, with a smiling face.
"We brought this on you in the first place, the least we can do is to help in cleaning the mess we all made."
"No Horus, we humans brought it on ourselves, with our evil way, and our destructive lifestyle."
"We are on our way to total annihilation, you are only speeding the process." Bobby let out.
"We are all evil, the devil's anvil," Maria mumbled.
"You are brave in admitting your errors and braver to be ready to pay for it," Brenda announced.
"But will you allow them to arrest you?" Bobby inquired, with a fixed stare at the grimly look of the alien, which had suddenly aged from stress and anxiety.
"Yes, we are predictable, and our vows were binding,"
"I'm not in support of this, I wonder why you can trust them!" Maria exclaimed.
"What if they betray you?" Dija asked.
"That's too risky, and I won't advise you to accept such an idea." Augur growls out.
"It's not about trust, but honor. Even Yaris will reject my arrest if he knew it was made out of deceit."
"Then you are better than us with all these qualities. You are reliable, truthful, and fair."
"Yes, yet we have our weaknesses as well. One of them is our rigidity. We are orientated to always obey."
"I believe we have both learned from each other," Bobby muttered.
"The scepter!" Brenda exclaimed, and all the eyes turned at her, as she let out. "We can unleash it before Yaris come."
"Yes, where is it?"
Brenda dipped her hand and brought the scepter out, then laid it on the surface of the hard rock, and it was circled by all the humans and the lone alien.
"Where is the parchment that I gave to you?" Horus asked as he fixed his eyes on the dazzling object.
"The parchment? Oh! Here, I have it." Brenda dipped her hand inside the bag and brought out a brown parchment made from only God knows animal skin.
Horus collected it, read for a while and his mouth produced strange words, as he pressed all the buttons on the body of the scepter, and a few seconds later, the scepter shattered into four different shapes.
"So what next?" Brenda asked.
It surprised her that she is feeling hot, and sweat was already seeping out from all the holes on her skin, despite the breeze that is now turning into the wind, as the bright sky seemed to be fallen under the domineering power of the dark cloud, that may soon be accompanied by rain.
"Then nothing, the instructions on the parchment are only about how to unlock it," Horus answered back, peered closer at the brown paper in his hand, and suddenly cried out. "Ho, wait... There is more-"
"Please be quick, Horus. We have little time left." Brenda screamed out.
"Argh! Am sorry but I don't understand what this means."
"You don't what?"
"Please look closer, Horus. We only have this moment."
"Oh my goodness!"
Horus peeked at the face of the disturbed humans, and he can feel his initial confusion setting in. "It's written in poems, and I don't understand what it means."
"Can you translate it for us, precisely?" Maria asked.
"Yes," Horus replied, smirked, and let out. "Here it goes."
One is light that should
The other agreed without being told
One breath in life
And the last, the weapon of a scornful wife.
"And what does that means?" Brenda asked with a puzzled look.
"Beat my imagination," Horus answered back.
