Treason

Bobby jerked a man off his feet with his right hand, he snatched the man's sword with his left hand, then throw the man up and thrust the sword inside his stomach.
He stepped back to avoid a heavy hammer swing at him, jumped up, and thrust his leg forward to kick the man who was still trying to regain his balance from the thrust.
The man was knocked down by the force of the kick beside Zuma,
Zuma instantly thrust his spear into the fallen man's chest, withdraw it immediately, and throw it into the stomach of another approaching guard.
The man gave a wild cry for some seconds, fell backward, and remained silent forever.
Apollon777 struck a blow in the jaw of the man fighting with Brenda, the man fell.
Apollon rolled on him, twisted his neck backward, and dived off to escape a spear thrust at him.
He held the two men in his front and knocked them against each other, then he stuck his weapon into the neck of one of the men.
The man fell dead on the ground.
Apollon cut his head off with his weapon, then leaped to intercept a man chasing after Brenda and thrust his weapon into his back.
"Been waiting for you for ages." He said at Brenda.
Brenda smiled back, front-kick a man in the chest, and thrust her elbow into the face of another man, breaking all his front teeth.
The man dropped his dagger, held his mouth, and burst into tears.
He paused in horror as a strange weapon hovered closed to cut his head off his neck, felt something sticky pouring down his body, and the darkness descended on him.
Apollon kicked the head of the falling man to deflect a dagger thrown at him. He immediately leaped after the retreating guards.
"Leave them," Brenda shouted after him.
Zuma throws his spear at one of the retreating men, the weapon missing the man in an inch.
"Come back and fight like a man." He cried after them.
"Let's get out of here," Brenda said.
They all walked towards where their horses were hiding and galloped off, away from Olumo rock.
Reagan saw some people approaching on horses and his mind quickly went to Brenda.
He waved to stop them, but they galloped past him.
"Brenda," Reagan shouted after them.
Brenda heard her name and stopped her horse, she turned and galloped back to the man by the roadside.
"Did I know you?" She asked.
"Not really, Elenu sends me to you," Reagan replied.
Brenda bobbed her head sideways and said. "Come up the horse."
Reagan climbed the horse, he settled comfortably at Brenda's back and the horse galloped away.
Zuri stepped into the war zone, along with some members of the scepter's gang.
A few steps to his right, one Hooray was cornered by some guards.
The Hooray fought with bravery, despite the number of men against him.
Zuri saw he was wounded and will be killed by his attackers.
"Let them do the job for me." He mumbled.
Another Hooray was fighting along with some of the One-eye gang members.
Zuri walked closed to the man and was stopped by One-eye.
"Have been searching for you," One-eye said with a grin.
His white regalia and his sword had turned crimson with blood.
"Order your men to start murdering all of the Hoorays with them," Zuri replied.
One-eye eyes flickered with surprise. "Are you sure you want us to kill your species?"
"Yes, and I don't have time to explain. Now runoff and pass my instruction." Zuri replied, then added in whispers as one Hooray came near him. "Be discreet about it."
One-eye nodded his head, unconvinced. "Is Zuri going crazy or just testing him?" Lots of questions ran through his mind.
Zuri grimaced at the Hooray who fought his way closed to him.
He walked halfway to meet him, poised his weapon as if he want to attack those fighting against his clan, then whirled suddenly and cut the head of the Hooray with a single slash.
Two Hoorays beside him were fighting and killing their opponents.
Zuri walked towards them, then paired with them and pretends as if he want to attack the humans in his front.
He tapped the closest Hooray and said. "Go pair with the Hooray over there."
The Hooray nodded his head, he cut off the hand of a man who thrust a sword at him.
The man screamed but stop halfway as the Hooray thrust his weapon into him.
Immediately the Hooray turned his back, Zuri thrust his dagger into his shoulder where his heart was located.
"The Hooray gave a loud groan, looked back at Zuri with a shocking stare and he tried to cry out to his other comrade of Zuri's treason, but blood gush of his mouth, to muffle his words.
Zuri raced to the other unsuspecting Hooray, he thrust his dagger into his back as well.
Far off, the cornered Hooray was getting weaker and unable to defend himself against the numbers of men and weapons thrust at him.
He soon fell and was killed by his adversaries.
The war raged on for more than seven hours and all Hoorays within the town of Gujarat were slain.
Except for Zuri, Horus, and his two guards.
"We all failed together and should be punished together." He reasoned, smiled, and walked into Olumo rock to inform the twins of the accomplishment of his test and to plan how to invade Guara town.
Horus and his two guards plunged into the deep forest after Maria. The faster they walked, the more she seemed to be getting away from them, yet the determined Horus keep pursuing.
"Are they on horseback?" One of the Hooray behind Horus asked.
"Maybe, or there is a faster route we are not aware of," Horus replied.
"We can't go back without her." The other Hooray said.
"We will find her," Horus replied, his phone ring somewhere, he picked it and Zuri's voice boomed out.
"I want you back now, we no longer need the girl." The voice the other side said.
"Ok," Horus replied, with an awful look.
"We are going back." He said to his two guards as the call ended.
Horus's phone rang again.
He peered sat the space beside his wing where his phone screen is located
"Strange number, who could this be."
"Hello, the voice that sounded like a hiss boomed out. "I believe I'm speaking with Horus."
"Yes," Horus replied.
"Am your superior officer and have heard a lot about you, may I know why you lost such a staggering amount of your warriors in a day?"
Horus's eyes instantly went wildly. "No wonder Zuri asked us back." He thought and said. " As you can see, sir. I'm not around and can't answer such a question."
The voice on the other side breath out loudly and asked. "Be truthful before all gods, will Zuri get the scepter today or I should just come down there to destroy it myself."
"Before all gods sir, Zuri can't deliver the scepter today," Horus replied.
The man laughed sarcastically and asked. "And you Horus, can you destroy the scepter in seven days?"
"Yes, I can," Horus answered back.
"Henceforth you are in control, I will be sending you more warriors to complete a group of fifty fighters"
"Am honored sir, but what about Zuri?" Horus asked.
The voice breathed louder for the second time and said. " In a few hours, Zuri will be committing suicide for his failure to destroy the scepter."
Horus gasped loudly and stood speechless for some seconds.
"Did you now understand the importance of the task, and if you fail-."
"I won't," Horus answered back.
"Good." The hissing voice said. "Do whatever it takes to get the scepters before seven days."
"Zuri asked me to turn back and joined him," Horus announced.
"You are no longer under Zuri's command." The voice said and cut the call instantly.
The two Hoorays beside Horus gazed at him.
One of them put his hand on Horus's back to congratulate him on his rapid rise to power.
"This is a blessing in disguise," Horus said with a smile.
"What are we going to do now, boss?" One of the Hooray asked. "Zuri ordered us back."
"We are no longer bound under Zuri's command. " Horus answered back. "We moved on."
