UNLEASHING THE SCEPTER

Brenda and Maria fought beside each other and hacked any zombies who dare come close to them. But the more they killed, the more the zealous zombies leaped closer to a suicide attempt.
Now tired, the two ladies decided to retreat to rest for a while, but the zombies, thinking their retreating was a sign of fear instantly raced after them.
Brenda looked back, saw four zombies racing after them, and let out. "They are pursuing us."
Maria glanced back, then looked at Brenda running beside her, and she answered back. "They were just four, let's share them among ourselves."
Brenda nodded her head, stepped a bit far from Maria, looked at her back, and grinned as two zombies raced after her, while the other two raced after Maria. She suddenly stopped on her track, somersaulted back, widen her arms, and landed on the two zombies at her back.
The zombies tried to evade the lady plummeting on them, but her suddenness and speed surprised them, and they crashed to the ground as soon as the lady landed on them.
Brenda dived off their midst as soon as the three of them crashed on the ground, one zombie wobbled to his knees, then lunged at her, but she jerked her legs and thrust him backward.
The zombie rolled on the ground for a while, stood up abruptly and leaped closer to his opponent, then punched her in the face.
Brenda stepped off his second punch, removed her dagger from its clip, stepped off his third punch, and dipped her dagger into his chest.
The zombie grunted for a while, jerked the lady closer, and tried to whack his head on her face, but the lady jabbed him on his left knee, removed her dagger as he bend towards her, veered at his back, and sever his head off.
The second zombie races closer, then slashed his sword to amputate Brenda's arms, but the lady stepped off his thrust, circled the zombie, fake a dagger thrust at his throat, turned around as the zombie leaped back to avoid her thrust, removed her sword from its clip then slashed it as the zombie leaped close to her, and sever his head into two equal parts.
The zombie wobble for a while and raised his arms to stick the two parts together, but another blow soon removed the whole head from his neck.
Maria lagged for the zombie to race close to her, one among the zombie thrust his spear at her, but she stepped off the blade, clasped her hand over the weapon, used it as leverage, then jumped up, whirled toward her two attackers and flung her body at them to knock them down.
The zombie tried to yank his spear off the reach of the lady, as he staggered to his feet, but the lady dived forward, then yanked the spear off his hand and punched him in the face.
The second zombie leaped at Maria and struck a straight blow at her chin.
Maria saw the incoming blow, raised her left arm, and folded it to block the blow. Then struck an uppercut that send her opponent falling back to the ground.
The zombie stumbled and fell, then grunted out as the lady leaped at him, jerked his head closer, and the last thing he saw were two daggers that suddenly appeared in the lady's hand, and his head was chopped off.
The second zombie raced closer, peered at his dead comrade, grunted and jumped up in pain at his comrade's death, picked up a sword that was tossed on the ground, then raced madly to attack the smiling lady in his front.
Maria smirked, stepped left to escape the first slash, then right to escape the second slash, knocked his knee with her leg thrust, then snatched the weapon off his hand, whirl him around and sever his head off.
The spaceship carrying the scientist hovered into the Apollons region, and all the inhabitants of the spaceship gawked at each other in total silence.
The ship is well decorated with white leather furniture and different gadgets that can only be operated by the Hoorays. And ten Hoorays gawked silently at each other for what seemed like forever until a domineering voice let out.
"Open the emergency exist and bring me the scepter." The senate leader let out and look grimly.
One among the scientists handed the scepter to his senior scientist, then he walked close and peered at the scepter, and he was followed by his two other comrades.
"Open the emergency exists." The scientist leader repeated, and his instructions were immediately obeyed by the warriors who glare back at him.
"Done." The Hoorays at the pulpit answered back.
The four scientists gathered around the scepter in their midst and waited for the spaceship to reach the middle of Apollon's region.
"The scepter has twelve stones around it, and each stone should be pressed according to its value and connection to the twelve zodiac signs." The scientist leader let out, picked up the scepter from the center table in the middle of the glass table in the spaceship, and hold it in his two palms.
"Yes, and diamond should be pressed first." One among the scientist announced, then pressed the diamond stone on the scepter.
"And should be followed by emerald." Another scientist let out, pressed the emerald stone on the scepter, and smirked at his comrades.
"And ruby" Another scientist mumbled, then pressed the ruby stone on the scepter.
"And alexandrite"
"Follow by sapphire."
"And tourmaline."
"And jadeite"
"Follow by beryl."
"Then opal."
"And topaz."
"Then benitoite "
"And last but not the least, jade." One among the scientist let out, then pressed the jade stone on the scepter.
After pressing the twelve stones that adorned the scepter, the scientist Hooray waited with apprehension as the clock in the spaceship tick-tick and the seconds passed.
Two seconds.
Three seconds.
Four seconds.
Five seconds.
Nothing happened!
The scientist breathed out with relief at the outcome of their task, but the anxious and awaiting warriors smirked at their excitement, out of ignorance.
"It is a clone scepter!" The scientist leader exclaimed with a smiling grin.
"Aye, it should have burst into a strong wind, that will soon turn into a whirlwind, then into a hurricane that would have consumed us all." Another scientist let out.
"You mean we would have been killed if the scepter is the real one and not fake?" The team leader of the warriors Hooray asked with a stunned glare.
"Aye, we would have been consumed by the great tremor that would have sprouted out of the scepter." The senate leader answered back, with a wide smile.
"We are all lucky it's not the original scepter." The warrior team leader let out, and a smile stole over his grimly look.
"Turn the ship, and let's head back home." The hooray leading the team let out, and the pilot instantly veered the ship and glided back to his starting point.
A few hours later, the twelve most important Hoorays on the whole planet were seen at their former spot inside the auditorium, as they await the outcome of their mission.
A few seconds later, four Hooray that was dressed in white regalia, and with a spectacle that makes them look like a scientist sauntered into the auditorium, and were followed by the warrior's team leader.
"Fish or crab?" The senate leader asked with a face filled with anxiety.
"Fish." One among the scientist answered back. "Either Horus gave us a clone scepter, or those sent to deliver it swapped it along the way. "
"Horus is one son of a gun, and filled with deceit and cunningness, thereby capable of this." The king let out with a gloom look.
"The Hoorays that brought the scepter came down here, as soon as they left earth and entered into our planet." The senate leader mumbled.
"If Horus should be found guilty of this crime, then I suggest he should not be killed but brought back to be severely punished before he is executed." Another senator let out.
The King looked sadly at his twelve senators, then at the four scientists, and at last the warrior's team leader. He quickly dismissed the scientists, and the warrior with a wave of his hand then exclaimed as soon as they were out of sight. "I no longer trust Horus's explanation of Seoul's death, and I now believe he was fooling us with his fake video."
"You are right, your royal highness," the senate leader mumbled, bowed at the king, and resumed his speech. "I suggest inquiries should be made, concerning Sheoul's death."
"And he should be severely punished if found guilty of the offense." Another senator let out.
"What punishment is greater than death?" The king asked with a puzzled look. "We have committed a lot, our weapons and warriors are depleting, and our reputation is at stake, because of one Hooray's treachery."
"I suggest all his family and kins should be imprisoned for life." One among the twelve senators said.
"Unfortunately, Horus has no living relation, and was the only survivor of his lineage." The senate leader let out, halted his speech, gazed at the king, then resumed. "All his family were murdered during the third region invasion by the Apollons."
"Then we must think of a deserving punishment." The king announced.
"I suggest we locked him up in a dark room for the rest of his life." One among the senator let out.
"Aye, death is too lenient for his crime." All the remaining twelve Hoorays agreed with a voice.
If Horus is found guilty of his crime, then he will be the first Hooray to be sentenced to life imprisonment.
But only if found guilty, then captured alive.
Dead or alive, Horus had made history, became an ancestor, and will always be remembered for his bravery, cunningness, and treachery.
Good or bad, making a name is what matters most.
