FINDING A NEEDLE IN AN OCEAN
The following day, Brenda and her gang resumed their journey for hours and their first confrontation occurred when they entered the neighboring town.
Far off, some men in turbans, galloped on horses to meet them and their leader cried out. "We won't allow that alien in your midst to pass, while the rest of you must submit your weapons before you are allowed into our region.
"We are in hurry and beg you to allow us to pass through. " Brenda begged out.
"How many men did we have with us?" Bobby inquired from Big Tiger who galloped beside him.
"Two hundred men." Big Tiger replied.
"Instruct them to be ready to attack," Bobby said, then galloped towards Brenda.
"We are warning you to alight off your horses and dropped your weapon." The men in turban leader repeated, then ordered his men to step forward with their bows and arrows.
"Conflicts with us will result in losses of men and waste of time," Brenda begged back.
"Reconsider to avoid loss of your men," Zuri spoke for the first time since the men blocked their way.
"Deliver the alien with you into our hands and we may let you live." The leader replied.
"So sorry, but he is important to our mission," Brenda replied.
She instructed all the men at her back to be ready to look for the shield to protect their bodies against the arrows that may soon plummet at them. "We are on our way to save the world and put ends to all this crisis." She added after.
"The aliens are causing all the earth's worries, and men are at their base right now to destroy them. Deliver this one into our hand and go in peace." The gang leader answered back.
When Zuri heard the man's statement concerning humans' invasion of the Hooray's base, he gazed forlornly for a while but soon shrugged to face the problem at hand. "That's Geisha's headache."
"This alien here has relinquished his duty with his clan and had decided to support humans to fight against his clan, did we need to be ungrateful towards him?" Bobby cried out as some men with bows and arrows stepped out.
"He is lying and will still betray you as he did to his clan." One among the archer announced.
"Only his blood can pay for their destruction of our home." Another man beside the first speaker added.
"This is my last warning, drop down your horses and dropped your weapon, or turn back now." Their lady announced.
Big Tiger quickly partitioned some men and instructed them to follow the route beside them and emerged at the back of the men who blocked their way, while others are informed to be ready to gallop close, as soon as the archers released their arrows.
"Archers!" The man cried out and added after a moment of silence. "Attack."
The men with bows and arrows instantly fired as those on horses galloped close to them, but alas, their aims were poor, as humans were still trying to master the lost art of shooting with bows, so few men were struck and no casualties recorded.
"Attack." The gang leader cried out.
His men instantly galloped to meet those on horses while the rest scampered on feet after them.
When they met, men fought against men, and blood was seen splashing all around.
Heads, arms, legs, and various parts of the bodies soon got chopped off from the rest and the screaming of men and whiny of horses echoed into the far distance.
Zuri struck at any human who dare to come near.
He chopped the right arm of a man who thrust his sword at him, then removed the head off completely to silence the screaming man.
Two men lunged at him, Zuri draw the rein of the horse instantly and the horse raised his two legs and thrust it into the chest of the men in its front.
A man jumped to knock him off his horse, but Zuri held tight to the rein, jabbed the man on his face with his left punch and the man let go and fell sprawling on the hard ground.
Bobby whacked a sledgehammer on the man wearing a turban, the force landed and crushed the man's skull and he instantly fell dead.
Some men were thrown off their horses by their opponents and most were soon put to death, while the rest scurried into the midst of their gang members.
"Their position will make it a bit difficult for us to fight back as they are descending into us." Brenda let out. "Let's retreat to the plain ground over there." She added, and point at some space close by.
The men at the hearing of her instruction quickly retreated.
"They are galloping away in retreat." Their leader cried out triumphantly at his men. "Race after them and kill them all." He declared and his men instantly heeded his declaration and raced after the retreating men.
"To fight and run." One among his men joked out.
"Is to live to fight another day." Another man concluded.
But at that moment, another section of men in horses raced towards them from the rear.
The war between the aliens and the humans at the alien's base soon resumed as soon as the sunset.
Men were seen racing towards the alien's base that by now is almost wrecked with forces from dynamite.
And they were met by the aliens who counter-attacked them.
That night, almost half of the humans fighting against the aliens were killed while the aliens also suffered a great loss.
Geisha was forced to order more fighters when the remaining men attacked at sunset on the third night.
The new arriving Hoorays soon plunged into the midst of the mobs and most were killed, except a few among them that retreated off into the darkness.
Among those that escaped with their life was the fat man that leads the first invading gang. He was seen racing along with his gang members, and this time around, without a fat Cuban cigar.
"To fight and run is to live to fight another day." One of the retreating gang members advised his obstinate friend who lagged.
Geisha's occupied moment denied him the chance to go in pursuit of the scepter for some days.
Now free when their attackers retreated, he quickly ordered the Hooray at the tracking system to find out Zuri and Horus, wherever they may be.
"We need a new base." He informed the Hoorays with him and selected some to go in search of a good location where they can relocate as their base was already destroyed by the invading humans.
With two hundred Hoorays, Geisha boarded a spaceship and they went in search of the scepter.
But their searching can be compared to finding a needle in an ocean.
"We aren't going back until the scepter is destroyed." Geisha pledged and the Hoorays with him agreed concurrently.
Those sent to find a new base soon discovered a teaching hospital that had been looted, then converted into a hideout by some evildoers who only rest there during the day, but go out when darkness arrived to look for their victims.
After putting all the miscreants to death, the Hoorays notified those in the base of the new location, and preparation was made for relocation.
The most gorgeous sight to a man is a beautiful naked lady, this was proved some hours earlier when a naked lady was seen dragging a man by his neck towards the twin's camp.
Men were seen gathering and gaping at the shape of the unclad lady and most did not even cast a glance at the aged man beside her.
"She is beautiful." A man whispered to his friend.
"I wish a taste of her heavenly pavilion." The friend replied in a whisper.
"This man here, and two others tried to murder me. Dija announced, tossed the man in his hand and the aged man landed with a crash.
"Where are the remaining two?" Akira asked.
"Dead," Dija replied.
The twins bobbed their heads at her statement, then Kira inquired from the man kneeling in their front. "Why did you attack her?"
"Kruz asked us to." The man replied.
"Where is Kruz now?" Akira asked.
"She killed him." The man replied.
"Can you explain how it all happened?" Akira asked Dija.
"I was having my bath when they suddenly attacked me, so I fight back and kill two among them. He is the last one." Dija narrated in brief.
"What did you have to say to defend yourself?" Kira whirled at the man and asked.
"It was all Kruz's fault, he forced me along, please forgive me." The man replied.
"What is your judgment?" Akira asked Dija.
"Death." She replied.
"You can have your vengeance," Kira said, she handed the sword in her hand to Dija, hold her sister's hand and both whirled and walked back into their camp.
Dija removed a sword from the scabbard and hopped forward, then cut the man's head off his neck.
She paused and watched as the remaining body tossed lifelessly, then hacked it into shreds as she cried out unintelligible words with tears.
