Chapter 110
Dylan rolled his eyes and scoffed, "What's up with Lila? We just saw her a few days ago, and now she's shamelessly looking for David. Did she forget how she ghosted him without a word?"
Wesley was at a loss for words. She was the one who ditched David, and now she was back? What did she think David was, some toy she could just pick up and drop whenever she felt like it?
He glanced over at David, who was busy flirting, and thought, 'A guy this good-looking wouldn't stay single for long, even if he was dumped. Who'd wait around for someone who already bailed on them?'
David was never the sentimental type. Wesley was impressed by how calm he was about Lila's return.
Meanwhile, Alice asked David curiously, "Can I invite a few more friends over?"
David raised an eyebrow and replied, "If it's Simon, sure. But if it's Esme, no way." He still remembered how Esme had convinced her to put a dog collar on him.
Alice squinted at David. The man in front of her was tall, handsome, and had a perfect physique. No matter what he wore, he looked like royalty. But this seemingly noble guy was adorably petty.
"What if I insist?" she teased.
"Then you'll pay for it," David said, pulling Alice into a dark guest room. The room was pitch black, with only the sound of their breathing.
"I'll agree if you let me touch." His deep voice whispered in her ear, with a hint of laughter.
Alice's cheeks flushed. Thankfully, the room was dark, or it would have been so embarrassing. She coughed lightly and asked softly, "Touch where?"
In the darkness, his laughter echoed, followed by a warm sensation on her earlobe as his lips gently sucked and his tongue playfully licked.
Alice shivered, pushing against his chest to break free. But David held her tighter, his hand sliding up her waist and stopping at a certain edge. His hoarse voice whispered in her ear, "Just a touch?"
"Just a touch. That's not too much, right?" David said softly.
Alice thought, 'Too much, really too much! It's fine if we're at home, but there are others outside! What if I can't control myself? My reputation would be ruined!'
After hesitating for a while, Alice said, "David, don't you think you've been too indulgent since we got together?"
David sighed softly and said gently, "Alice, when the person you like is right in front of you, how can you hold back?"
Alice's face heated up. She swallowed and moved her hand from his chest to the back of his neck, burying half her face in his shoulder, and said muffled, "Then go ahead, but be gentle. I'm afraid I'll make a sound."
David smiled without saying a word. After locking the door, he carried her to the bed in the dark. In the dark, quiet room, the sound of fabric rustling and a few muffled groans could be heard. Half an hour later, the two of them walked out of the room one after the other.
Alice, still blushing, was texting Esme and Simon on her phone as she dashed downstairs. She needed to cool off and wait for them to show up.
David, with his collar open and a grin on his face, watched Alice until she disappeared around the corner of the stairs. Then he casually strolled to the hall and poured himself a glass of water to quench his thirst.
Dylan and Wesley were sitting side by side on a single sofa, staring intently at David.
Dylan looked disgusted. "He was gone for half an hour. I bet a hundred bucks they two were up to something."
Wesley calmly lifted his chin and pointed at David. "Look at his neck. There's a bite mark."
Dylan's eyes widened, but David noticed their gaze and quickly buttoned up his shirt.
Dylan sighed helplessly. "Damn, I didn't even get a good look before he noticed."
Wesley said calmly, "A psychologist has to observe subtle changes and physical features. I could be a spy."
"Are you guys really that bored?" David lay on the sofa, took out his phone, and texted Alice, telling her not to stand outside and to meet them in the hall.
Wesley shrugged. "Pretty bored. If I had known, I wouldn't have come. Is it fun to torture single people?"
David smirked. "Yeah, it's pretty fun."
Wesley got up to leave.
Dylan quickly grabbed him. "If you leave, I'll have no one to suffer with me! Could you still be my friend? Stay!"
David said, "Alice just said she's inviting Simon and Esme over. We'll split into two teams later."
Simon had a good relationship with Alice, so he would definitely come. Dylan was already numb to it.
"Wait!" Dylan suddenly reacted, looking very upset. "Esme? The college student who called me old?"
David nodded.
Dylan was furious. "She dares to come! She called me old, I'll teach her a lesson. These college girls have no manners. Tell me, with my looks, physique, and family background, do I look old?"
David said flatly, "The fact is, you're older than her."
Dylan jumped up. "I'm only 26!"
Wesley said, "You've passed the youthful age. What's the difference between 26 and 30?"
Simon and Esme walked in together. Simon wore a baseball jacket, looking youthful; Esme wore an oversized hoodie that covered her butt, revealing only her slender legs, very eye-catching.
Esme was still thinking about the photo Alice had sent her. As soon as she saw the people waiting in the hall, she immediately let go of Simon and rushed over, hooking Alice's neck tightly. "Alice, you're something! Is just a few snacks enough to bribe you? Are you so easily bribed? How about I buy out a supermarket and give it to you someday?"
Alice bent over, glanced at Esme, and said in a faint tone, "Do you think those two things are the same? If someone you don't like buys you a mansion and a car, and someone you like proposes with a ring, which one would you choose?"
