Killian opened the door to the special cell.
As the door opened, the two prisoners in the cell looked towards us.
Jelena's face changed when she saw my face.
“You found her.” She said.
“He did. Were you expecting an alternating outcome?” I sneered.
“Someone is getting arrogant.” Jelena spat.
Her father still remained silent.
I shrugged, “Why will I not get arrogant? I have the capital to do whatever I want and I have a great man by my side. It would actually be strange if I didn't get arrogant.”
Jelena rolled her eyes before turning to Killian, “I don't know why you are so obsessed with her. She had been to a brothel before. Do you know how many men would have left their marks on her before you brought her back? Do you still intend to make Edna your queen?”
My left hand rubbed the center of my brows.
Jelena was delusional and she desperately needs mental help. She was in a cell that still showcased spots from her blood. Instead of thinking about her life or the punishment she might go through in the nearest future, she was investing her energy in something that wouldn't be fruitful for her.
She was talking about my man being obsessed when she was the truly obsessed one. She was the definition of hypocrisy.
I chuckled, “It is hypocritical of you to ask the questions that are spilling from your lips. Let's not talk about the alleged men that left their marks on me yet. Are you going to conveniently forget that you are the reason I appeared in that brothel?”
Jelena sneered, “I am not denying the fact that I am involved with your appearance in the Flower Embrace brothel. I am just trying to open Killian's eyes to see that a tainted woman can never be his Queen. It is unethical and stupid.”
“How would it be unethical for me to be his Queen? I am not going to spend the rest of my life with you or any other person that decides to judge. Stop speaking from a place of jealousy and accept your current situation. Any struggles right now is just going to be in vain.” I said.
“Edna, don't spend too much energy on her. She doesn't deserve it.” Killian said coldly.
I nodded, “I understand what you mean.”
“You can do whatever you want to her.” Killian said, “It would even be for the best if you torture her severely. Sadly, I know you are not that kind of person. I am just going to go with whatever you give me.”
“How do you know if I am that kind of person or not? Anyways, it is time to have fun.” I smiled as I walked towards the torture rack.
“My King, we have gotten enough punishment. Don't let Edna humiliate me and my father like this. Don't let the heart of your subjects grow cold.” Jelena said.
“Enough! Let my subjects’ hearts grow cold if that is what they want. I am not going to do anything to stop that. You are speaking like the so called subjects put me on the throne. I am sure your father didn't forget how antagonistic he and the rest of the so called subjects were in the past. I took the throne by my power. Don't try to discredit me with those words. It would have the opposite effect.” Killian said.
His golden eyes darkened.
“Killian, don't exchange words with her. She still has the energy to say nonsense. I have to change that.” I grabbed a torture instrument with a big smile.
