BK 4 - Chapter 48 - Sneaky Jade
Jade tossed and turned all night. She had wanted Bill to sleep with her, but she was worried she wouldn't be able to control herself and was adamant about waiting to have sex until her birthday. Only two more days.
Bill didn't go home; she talked him into sleeping in one of the guest rooms. Jade was mad they hadn't even had a second alone so she could kiss him. Today, she was going to rectify that.
She got out of bed when she heard Lisa and the others leave for the facility. She hoped everything went okay for her. Jade didn't know anything about her birth parents, but she had never thought about finding them. Janel and Thatcher were her parents, no matter how they came together. Jade took a shower and put on a pair of white denim shorts and a green crop top.
When she walked out of her room, she heard voices downstairs. Jade didn't hear Bill, so she hoped he was still in his room. She snuck down the hall quietly. She didn't know why she was sneaking around, but it felt appropriate when trying to sneak into a man's bedroom. When she reached his door, she tried the handle and found it was unlocked. Jade quickly opened the door and went inside. She expected to see Bill getting dressed, but he was still in bed, sleeping.
Jade assumed he had a restless night like her because his bed was all messed up. She locked the door and tiptoed over to him. Lightly brushing his sandy hair out of his face, she smiled. He really was a handsome man and looked younger in his sleep. Jade squatted next to the bed so they were face to face.
"Bill," she said softly, running her fingers lightly through his hair. He rolled over on his back.
"I love you, Jade." She froze when she heard what he said. When Jade looked at his face, she realized he was still asleep. He loved her? She felt her heart racing and wanted to jump up and down with excitement, but she didn't want him to know she had heard what he'd said.
"Rise and shine," She said a little louder. Bill slowly opened his eyes and sat up when he saw her.
"I'm sorry, did I sleep in?" He asked anxiously. Bill made sure the sheets were covering him. He'd been dreaming about Jade and woke up with an erection he didn't want her to see.
"No, you're fine. I just wanted to spend some time with you alone. We haven't had much chance to talk again after we discussed marking each other. Are you okay? Do you want me to leave?" Jade asked, noticing how nervous he was.
"I don't want you to leave. Let me run into the bathroom to freshen up. I'll be right back." Bill jumped out of bed, keeping his back toward Jade. However, he only wore tight boxer briefs and a T-shirt. She saw what he was hiding and was impressed; he looked big for a human.
Bill shut the bathroom door with a sigh. Just two more days, and he would be able to touch Jade. It was getting hard to keep his hands to himself. He'd never been with a woman and couldn't believe she had never been with a man. Jade may only be seventeen, but she was more outgoing than he was.
After taking a quick cold shower and brushing his teeth, he threw on his clothes and went back to the bedroom. Bill almost turned around when he saw Jade sitting on the side of the bed with a smirk. The way she looked at him, running her eyes over his body, made him feel like he was naked. She stood to walk over to him, and his mouth went dry. Two days, only two more days. He could control himself for that long, right?
"I have a favor to ask," Jade said, taking his hand in hers. She felt powerful seeing the effect she had on him.
"What favor?" He asked. Right now, with how her hand felt in his, she could ask him to jump off the roof to see if he could fly, and he would.
"Will you kiss me?" Jade asked softly. She stepped closer to him and took his other hand so they were only about an inch apart.
"Yo...you want me to kiss you?" Bill's heart was racing. He had dreamed about kissing her since first laying eyes on her, even before he knew they were mates. He was already falling in love with her, but there was no way he could tell her.
"Yes. I don't want to do anything else, but I've never been kissed, and I want to kiss you now." Jade hoped he would say yes. Maybe he didn't want to kiss her.
"I don't really know how to kiss. I've only kissed one other person, and I was thirteen. It was awkward and made me think I may not be good at it," Bill replied honestly. He could feel his face getting hot as he looked away. Maybe she would change her mind now that she knew a twenty-one-year-old man had never kissed anyone. She probably wanted someone with more experience.
"Good. So I can be your first, too. Will you kiss me?" Jade slid her hands up his arms and wrapped them around his neck. Bill was nervous, but there was no way he was going to refuse her.
"Okay," He said with a scratchy voice. Jade smiled as she put her hands in his hair and pulled his face to hers. He hesitantly wrapped his arms around her, almost groaning when he felt her smooth, bare back.
When their lips touched, it felt like something ignited them. The electricity that ran through their bodies was so intense they both shivered. Jade opened her mouth and met Bill's tongue with hers. Considering neither of them had been kissed before, she thought they were doing a pretty good job. She felt an ache between her legs, and his erection was pushing against her. When they pulled apart, they were both breathless.
"Wow," Jade said before giving him another soft kiss. Bill had never thought kissing would be so good. He wanted to throw Jade on the bed and kiss her all over, but he would wait until her birthday. However, when that day came, he would worship every inch of her.

**Sycamore Place**
Lisa stared at Adelma in shock. Did she say they needed to leave before someone killed them? Lisa looked at her family, who were all as stunned as she was.
"What do you mean?" Lisa asked her. Adelma was still holding onto her wrist tightly. She pulled on Lisa, making her lean over.
"We need to leave, or they're going to kill us," Adelma repeated. She looked into Lisa's eyes.
"Why do you think that?" Cat asked, putting her hand lightly on Adelma's shoulder. She felt her relax slightly under her touch.
"I've been here a long time, and people always end up dead when they're put in these rooms. Who are you? I know you don't work here; you're too clean and nice." Adelma said, looking at the group in front of her. Everyone thought she was crazy, but she only acted that way so they would leave her alone.
"I don't know if this is the best time to tell you, but I'm your daughter," Lisa said while holding her breath. Adelma let go of her arm as she stared at her in surprise.
"My daughter? Are you sure?" She asked as tears filled her eyes. Were they playing tricks on her? How could this young woman be her daughter?
"Yes, I'm sure. I know what they did to you and how they took me from you. I'm so sorry for everything you went through." Lisa said with tears streaming down her face. Adelma slowly stood up and looked at Lisa. She had always thought they killed her daughter.
"I can't believe you're here. I thought you were dead. Can I hug you?" She was scared Lisa would say no, but she would respect her wishes. However, Lisa threw her arms around her as they both cried. Adelma had dreamed about this day but never thought it would become a reality.
Lisa couldn't believe she was hugging her birth mother. She had many questions, but she thought they probably needed to see how to get her out of there first.
"Grandma Cat, what do we need to do to get her out of here?" Lisa asked.
"Grandma?" Adelma asked, looking at Cat in confusion.
"My daughter Melanie and her husband Saxon adopted Lisa when she was five," Cat said, nodding toward Melanie and Saxon. Adelma looked at the couple with gratitude.
"It's nice to meet you," Melanie said, holding her hand out. Adelma wrapped her arms around her.
"Thank you for taking care of her. I was so scared they had killed her when she was cut out of me. Everyone here thinks I'm crazy, but I promise you I'm not." Adelma had thought she was going to die in this hell hole, but now she had hope.
"You don't have to thank me. We have a beautiful, amazing daughter." Melanie said, beaming with love and pride.
"Alright, now I think it's time we talk. Adelma, we want to get you out of here. Are you willing to leave?" Cat asked. She could see how living in the facility had affected her, but she knew she was telling the truth about not being crazy.
"I've wanted to leave here since the day they forced me to come. I learned how to act so they wouldn't medicate me. The only problem is I've been here for so long I don't know where I'll go if I leave." Adelma said nervously. She had no idea what life was like outside of the facility. Cat patted her shoulder.
"Don't worry about that, you can stay with us. I know it may take time for you to get used to living a normal life, so there won't be any rush. You can do things in your own time." As Cat finished speaking, the door to the room opened. Shirley and three large men stood on the other side.
"You all need to leave. It's time for Adelma to get her treatment." Shirley said while holding the door open. No one moved other than Adelma, who went to the corner, shaking her head back and forth.
"What treatment?" Cat asked, stepping in front of the frightened woman.
"Electric shock therapy."
