BK 2 - Chapter 26 - Body Dump
Otto and Tito spent two days with Ronaldo, and it didn't take long for them to figure out that he wasn't telling them everything. On the second day, they drove him out to an isolated area to question him where there were no witnesses.
"What are we doing out here, guys? I told you we should hang around the store where I saw the girl." The twins ignored him as they continued driving to a secluded part of a forest outside of Sacramento. They came to a stop when Otto thought they were in a good spot for what they needed to do.
"We wanted to go somewhere we could talk in private," Tito said, and Ronaldo felt fear wash over his body in the form of a cold sweat. He didn't like the sound of this.
"What do you mean? Why can't we talk in the car?" Before he could say anything else, Tito got out of the passenger seat and opened Ronaldo's door. He was pulled out and thrown onto the ground.
"We're not idiots. We know you know more than you're telling us, and it's time for you to see what happens when you waste our time." Tito kicked him in his chest, re-opening his wounds that were still healing. Ronaldo screamed in pain. He didn't want to die out in the middle of nowhere, but he also didn't want to face that lion again.
"I don't know what you're talking about. I told you everything I know." He curled in a ball on the ground. Otto came over and took his bandaged hand, squeezing hard where his fingers used to be. Ronaldo started crying as he felt the pain throughout his entire body.
"You're not a smart man. We can tell you haven't shared everything with us. Either talk or rot out here where you can be food for the wildlife." Otto squeezed his hand again as Tito kicked him in the back. Ronaldo decided to tell them the truth, and maybe they'd let him live.
"Alright, I'll tell you everything. I know where she lives and her boyfriend's name. That's it, though. I don't know anything else." Tito and Otto looked at each other and nodded. They believed him, but it was already too late.
"What's the name and address?" Tito asked. He gave them the information, and Otto let go of his hand.
Ronaldo took a breath of relief until he saw Tito laying plastic in the back seat of the SUV and Otto walking toward him with a knife. He tried to stand up and run, but his injuries were too bad. He kept falling back to the ground.
"Please, guys, you don't have to do this." Otto walked behind Ronaldo and grabbed a handful of his hair. He struggled and tried to get away, but Ronaldo had no chance of getting loose. Otto took the knife and slit Ronaldo's throat from one side to another. His neck was so skinny that the knife almost completely severed his head.
Otto and Tito loaded Ronaldo's body into the back of the SUV, placing him on the plastic. They drove back to Sacramento and directly to the address that Ronaldo had given them. They went up to the apartment and knocked on the door. There was no answer, so Otto picked the lock, and they let themselves in.
Tito and Otto looked around the apartment and could tell someone lived there, but no one was home. They didn't find anything useful. They decided to leave the occupants a welcome home present.
The twins went out to their vehicle and got Ronaldo. When they were sure no one was around, they carried him into the apartment and placed him on the bed. They positioned Ronaldo with his head tipped back so the gash was wide open. Tito dipped his finger in Ronaldo's blood and put a message on the bedroom wall for the couple.
The twins left once they were done setting the scene. They decided to get something to eat, and then they would come back and sit outside the apartment. They weren't worried about missing the couple. No matter what they decided to do, cleaning up that bloody mess would take a while.

Kitty felt sick looking at Ronaldo. His eyes were open as if he was staring at her. Trey and Aiden were angry at the message and the mess. Cat was the only one with a clear head, and she sighed.
"Well, I guess we better get this cleaned up. I'm assuming we're not calling the police, so we need to get him out of here before he starts to smell. At least they were nice enough to leave the plastic, so there's no blood on the bed and very little on the floor. They must have killed him somewhere else because there isn't too much blood."
Cat reached into her purse and pulled out some gloves. The other three stared at her in disbelief as she walked around the bed, trying to decide where to start.
"How are you so calm like you clean up scenes like this every day?" Aiden asked, watching her with his eyes widened.
"I'm a nurse. I'm used to cleaning up bloody messes. Granted, I've never seen someone with their head almost decapitated. I'm assuming from his other injuries; this was the man who kidnapped Kitty." Cat looked at Kitty and Aiden. By the look on their faces, she knew she was right.
"Yes, this is Ronaldo. He kidnapped me. I'm guessing Ricky sent more men, and they weren't happy with Ronaldo messing up my kidnapping." Kitty was still trying not to vomit as she looked at anything but the body on the bed.
Cat noticed how pale she was and decided to take charge. No one else seemed like they were going to move, so she started assigning jobs.
"Kitty, why don't you pack yours and Aiden's things? Trey, you and Aiden wrap the body up and get him ready to put in the back of the truck. I'm going to clean the message off the wall and the blood off the floor. I don't think we have time to waste because whoever did this will be back."
Before anyone could say anything, Cat was gone, and Kitty heard her getting things from the kitchen. She was back in the bedroom within seconds. She watched as Cat mixed baking soda and vinegar. She then dipped a small rag in the mixture before rubbing it on the bloody message. Kitty was shocked as she watched the blood come off the wall.
Aiden and Trey began wrapping the body up in the plastic and the quilt on the bed. When they were done, Ronaldo looked like nothing but rolled-up blankets. Aiden went into the closet to help Kitty pack their things while Trey went to help Cat.
"How are you getting that blood off so quickly? I would have used bleach, but this looks like nothing was ever there." Trey was amazed and would admit a little scared that Cat could clean up a crime scene so thoroughly.
"I learned a long time ago that baking soda and vinegar work best at getting blood out of things. The baking soda absorbs the blood, and vinegar cleans it away. I'm almost done. Is everyone else ready to go? I don't want to go lion on these men in an apartment building." She looked up at Trey and winked. He laughed at her as he helped her up from where she was cleaning the drops of blood on the floor.
"Alright, let's get out of here before the men return. Aiden and I will put Ronaldo in the back of the truck. We'll drop him somewhere deserted but where he'll be found eventually." Kitty and Aiden finished grabbing their suitcases, and the men carried Ronaldo down the back steps to the truck. Cat and Kitty started carrying bags and loading them in the back with the body.
Once they had everything and there was no evidence left in the apartment, they left. Trey drove right outside of Sacramento, where they dumped Ronaldo unrolling him from the plastic and quilt. Cat and Kitty waited in the truck while the men took care of the body.
On the way back to Sacramento, they stopped at two different dumpsters to get rid of the plastic and quilt. It was dark when the two couples headed back to the pool house. They were all exhausted and ready to go to bed. They would have to take turns showering with only one bathroom, so Cat suggested each couple shower together to save time and water.
When everyone was clean, they gathered at the kitchen table where Cat was serving cake and ice cream.
"I think after that, we all deserve an extra treat. I'm glad you both are here with us. If those bastards come for you, they may not be scared of one lion, but how about four? Hopefully, by the time they return, Kitty will be done with her transitioning." Cat smiled at them all as they ate their dessert.
"I think you should mark me tomorrow so we can get this started. What do you say?" Kitty took Aiden's hand in hers. Now that she had decided she was ready to be marked, she was excited to start the process.
"I think that sounds great. Let's do it first thing in the morning." Aiden squeezed her hand, wanting to mark her now, but it had been a long day.
The four of them went to bed after finishing their dessert. Kitty lay staring out the window as Aiden slept. It was her last night being a human, and she was nervous about the changes coming.
Kitty wiped her tears as they fell, unsure if she was crying because of anger, happiness, or fear. She was happy about finding Aiden and everything that had happened since meeting him. She was scared because she knew Ricky was still after her.
She was angry at herself. She hadn't told Aiden everything about what the bastards in foster care had done to her or why she was so untrusting of others. Kitty thought it better to keep those things to herself. However, now her emotions were in turmoil because she felt guilty that he didn't know the truth. She quietly cried herself to sleep.
