BK 4 - Chapter 59 - Time To Pay
Bill looked at Jade, sleeping in his arms. They had made love several times overnight, and now it was early afternoon, but they didn't want to get up. He was ready for her to mark him so he could be a vampire. She started moving next to him, and he kissed her forehead. When she smiled before opening her eyes, he thought his heart was going to stop. Everything she did made him fall deeper in love with her.
"Good morning, my fiancé," she said sleepily.
"Good morning, the love of my life," Bill replied. Jade snuggled closer, and her leg grazed his penis, making it immediately get hard. She smiled and started stroking him with her hand.
"I take it you're still not worn out. What can I do about that?" She asked, looking up at him. Bill couldn't speak as she began massaging his balls. He groaned when she moved and took him into her mouth before he had time to blink. He loved the feel of her mouth, but he wanted to be inside her. Bill pulled her until she straddled him.
"Can you ride me while you mark me?" He asked as she slid down on him, making them both moan. Jade smiled as she slowly started moving up and down, causing an equal amount of pleasure and torture.
"If that's how you want it. Are you ready now?" She asked, slowing her pace even more. Bill was ready to burst.
"Yes," He said, tilting his head to give her access. Jade didn't hesitate. She bit down, and Bill felt the burn of her venom as it entered his body. She kept riding him as she drank a little of his blood, and the burn was quickly replaced by a feeling of being complete. When she pulled out of his neck, she picked up the tempo, and after a few minutes, they orgasmed together. Jade kept him inside her as she lay on his chest.
"You're going to be in pain, but I'll be here to make it better. It won't last long. The transition doesn't take as long as it does for shifters." She said, kissing his cheek.
"Any pain I have to endure is worth it to be with you. I love you." He said as he felt the pain beginning to spread.
"I love you too," Jade said as she held him.

Carmen looked at the big house they were driving up to and couldn't believe her eyes. She had never been to a house that size. Lisa still held her hand as they got out of the car.
"There's a lot of people staying here because my Grandpa Roger just passed away, so we all came together. Don't let them overwhelm you, though." Lisa figured that was partially true. She didn't want to tell her about all the terror they went through of being hunted, which was the real reason they were all under one roof.
"Are you sure it's okay for me to stay here?" Carmen asked nervously.
"I'm positive. I do have one question. How did your husband know where you were?" Lisa asked as they made their way to the front door.
"He probably tracked my cell phone. I left it at the restaurant when we left." She gave Lisa a small smile. Carmen was still in awe of her half-sister. She wished she had a fraction of her strength.
"Good thinking. I don't want you to worry about a thing. You're with us now." Lisa said as they walked inside. Melanie had texted Cat ahead of time to warn her about Carmen. So, everyone made themselves scarce. Some had even gone back home. Cat and Valerie greeted them when they came into the house. They walked up to Carmen slowly.
"Hi, I'm Lisa's Grandma Cat, and this is her Grandma Valerie. Welcome to the family, dear." Cat said, taking her hand gently. Carmen felt such a sense of relief and safety she broke down in tears. Cat put her arms around her as she cried on her shoulder. She could feel her pain and knew it had been a long time since she had been shown any kindness.
Cat led Carmen into the living room while Lisa, Valerie, and Melanie followed. The men left them alone, understanding that she may not want them around right now. Lisa sat on the sofa beside Carmen, and Cat sat on the other side.
"I can't thank you all enough for being so kind. It's been a long time since I felt like I could speak or even breathe without paying the price when I was supposedly doing it wrong, according to my husband." Carmen whispered. Cat kept her arm around her, and Lisa held her hand. She had just met them and knew they had to be special.
"We don't want you to live in fear anymore. I'm not going to tell you that you're going to get over everything that happened quickly, but we'll all be here to help you through it." Cat said, stroking Carmen's head.
"I've never met a family like yours," Carmen said, looking at the four women surrounding her. After living a life of fear and pain, she never thought a random text from a woman saying they were related was what would save her. She looked at Lisa and squeezed her hand. "Thank you for saving me."
Lisa hugged Carmen as they both cried. She felt horrible that Carmen had been suffering for so long. She was just thankful that they were able to get her out of that horrible situation. If Jerry ever found her, Lisa would make sure his body was never found.
They helped Carmen into a room that had been vacated by some of those who had already gone home. Lisa and Cat went into the room with her. While Cat helped her into a hot bath, Lisa went to her and Jayce's room to get Carmen a change of clothes. Cat wanted to help her relax, but she also wanted to check her injuries.
When Carmen took her clothes off, Cat bit her tongue so she wouldn't gasp. Her body was completely covered in bruises in multiple stages of healing. She could see some in the shape of a fist, and one on her back was in the form of a man's boot. Cat took a couple of deep breaths and helped Carmen into the warm, bubble-filled water. She wanted to hunt the bastard down and let Saira rip his head off for hurting this sweet woman.
"Carmen, can I get your permission to have your husband arrested?" Cat asked, trying to keep herself calm. She didn't want Carmen to think her anger was toward her. She saw the fear in her eyes immediately.
"If he's arrested, I'll have to face him in court. When he gets out, he'll kill me." She said, with tears running down her cheeks. Cat stroked her hair.
"No, honey, you won't. If you let me take photos of your injuries, we can have someone get your statement, and you'll never have to see him again. Please trust me and my family to protect you. He will never lay another hand on you." Cat wiped her tears away. Carmen was terrified, but she wanted Jerry to pay for everything he'd done to her over the past seven years.
"Yes, I'll do it," Carmen said. She even smiled slightly. Knowing that no matter what happened, she wouldn't be alone was freeing. They looked at the door as Lisa walked in. Cat stood up to find Trey but wanted to talk to Lisa first.
"We'll be right back," Cat said, taking her granddaughter's hand.
"What's going on, grandma?" Lisa asked. She could see the rage in her grandmother's eyes.
"Carmen is covered in horrible bruises. Some of the worst I've ever seen. I got her permission to have him arrested. You stay here with her while your grandfather and I pay him a visit." Cat said through gritted teeth. It was time to let the lions out.
"Damn, I knew it was bad, but not that bad. I wish I could go with you, but I'll take care of her. I love you, grandma," Lisa said, hugging her. Cat kissed her cheek.
"I love you too, sweetheart. Now, take care of our newest family member. We'll be back." Lisa smiled as her grandmother left. She really was incredible. Cat went straight to the living room and got Trey.
"We need to go pay someone a visit," Cat said. Trey stood up; seeing the fire in her eyes, he knew she meant business. They got the paper that Morgan had given Lisa with Carmen's contact information. She and her husband lived in Woodland. When they pulled up to the house, they saw a car in the driveway, so they assumed Jerry was home.
"How do you want to play this?" Trey asked.
"Carmen is never going to have to worry about him coming back. Do I make myself clear?" She asked before opening the door. Trey nodded and got out of the car.
They walked up to the house and knocked on the door. A man opened it and looked at them angrily.
"What do you want?" Jerry asked, glaring at them. Trey shoved him so hard that he fell backward. Car closed and locked the door behind them. No need for witnesses.
"We're going to do to you what you've been doing to Carmen for years. It's time for you to pay, and we're here to collect." Cat said before kicking him in his already broken nose. Jerry looked at them in fear, realizing he might not leave there alive.
