Mirabelle's POV continues

In response she shrugs, her hand toying with the biding rose. “Too bad, I want it and I will get it, even if I have to sell my soul to the devil.”

“Didn't you already do that?” Kingston teases.

Camilla rolls her eyes, her and Kingston instantly gets into a heated argument about souls. I brush it off, my attention fixed on Alpha Ryan and Arielle walking towards us. I clear my throat, my hand tapping Camilla's thigh under the table.

Even with her mask, Arielle is recognizable, if there is one Luna you can't mistake for another, it is definitely her, she is honestly flawless. Plus, her scent is unique, her signature perfume greets you before she does. Camilla doesn't react to me, she proceeds to bicker with Kingston until Ryan's shadow falls on us, making her gaze shift to him, her eyes dilating.

“Excuse me,” Alpha Ryan begins, his hand resting on Arielle's waist.“ Can I have a word with you?”

Camilla nods, raising from her seat.

Arielle moves her mask up her face, resting it in her perfectly styled hair. “I believe we haven't been properly introduced, I'm Arielle.” she says, reaching her hand forward to greet Camilla.

Camilla puts her hand forward, to greet Arielle, her other hand reaching for the mask on her face, the royal mask that has people talking about her even more so than before. “Alpha Camilla of Silverline,” she grins. Her hand slipping away from Arielle's hand.

Arielle looks at Ryan, both of them wide eyed with open mouths.

“Beta Mirabelle,” I let out, sliding my mask off. “Alpha's assistant Emily, and our chief trainer Kingston.” I say, my hand gesturing to King and Emily as I say their names.

The shock on Arielle and Ryan's faces is apparent from miles away, so many people are starting to stare and whisper about the scene in front of me.

“Are they okay?” Emily asks, her question a sounding whisper in my ear. I nod, they're just fine but they do need a minute to gather their thoughts and connect some dots. Particularly Alpha Ryan who just found out the sister he obliterated his rival Alpha for and drum roll, she's an Alpha too, the fast rising devil Alpha that everyone is talking about.

“I know you're disappointed, but contrary to the rumors, I don't eat kids.” Camilla jests, snorting at her own joke the second she lets it out.

“Why did you run away the last time I saw you?” Arielle asks, finally finding her words.

“Fuck that,” Alpha Ryan murmurs. “I've looked everywhere for you–”

“Except Silverline.” Camilla interrupts, trying to act smart with Ryan.

“Don't make this a joke Camilla, I was worried about you. Up until four days ago, I thought you were still with that fool only to find out you left him nearly two months ago.” he rasps, his tone having depth of his Alpha voice.“Since when do you act like a spoiled little brat? You've acted selfish and irresponsible, yes, you're running a pack well but what about family? Did you forget about that? You acted just like Michelle, a cold self centred brat.”

Camilla's face falls, Arielle caressing Ryan's arm. Everyone watching can tell he's upset with Camilla.

“I'm sorry Ryan, I couldn't come back.” she whispers, her voice cracking, her eyes casting down to the ground.

“Ryan, calm down, you're upsetting her.” Arielle says, her face frowning at the sight of Camilla's gloom.

“Upsetting her?” Ryan snorts, “No, I'm not upsetting her. I've given Camilla everything, I would have brought down the fucking world if she wanted me to but now she doesn't trust me enough to come back to me after that rugrat screwed up?”

Kingston tenses in his seat, watching Camilla's reactions to the alteration closely. This is the old Camilla, nearly crying because her brother is mad at her yet trying so hard to keep her game face on for everyone present tonight.

“And we're back ladies and Gentlemen.” King Cameron says, grabbing everyone's attention as we turn to the stage.

“Where were we?” he asks, his eyes searching through the flashcards in his hand. “Ah yes, A.C.H vacation home. Twenty five million was it, Phoenix Alpha?”

Camilla looks to Ryan and back to the stage, clearing her throat. “Yes,” she affirms.

“Alpha Ryan?” King Cameron calls out, inquiring about his bet to the home considering both he and Camilla wanted it badly.

Alpha Ryan shakes his head, his hand on Arielle's waist shifting to his pocket. “I'm not bidding, she can have it.”

“A.C.H vacation house sold to the Phoenix Alpha.” King Cameron announces, the audience engrossed into instant applause.

Camilla turns to Ryan who is still glaring at her, “I am sorry Ryan, I didn't come back to you because I was mad, mad at myself for being so stupid about everything. I laid my life down for him and despite everything, you went and wrecked havoc on Midnight Saints, I knew you would but I didn't want it to be because of me, to have another thing to pin on me.” Camilla says, her voice audible enough for him to hear her through the cheering and music that follows after, with King Cameron wishing everyone a good night.

“I promise I'll come to the Dark Moon first thing tomorrow morning. I'm sorry I should have told you about my whereabouts but don't make me feel like it's all my fault, it's not. You don't have to make me feel shitty because I already feel so fucking awful.” she rasps, her hand reaching for her phone and then she walks away.

“Camilla.” Luna Arielle and I say in unison, attempting to stop her from walking away.

Kingston raises, going after Camilla in a not so obvious fashion.

“Sorry, I think she kept so much anger built up inside from all the times Adrian and unnamed others screwed her over that now that she's began to let out, it has taken a toll on her but deep down this cold ordinance, she's still in there.”
