Camilla's POV
Alpha's Hated Mate
Camilla's POV
Adrian was driving me to Silverline. On our way out we met my cousin. She said Sheryl went to my pack. Adrian came to the royal party and found me in a compromising manner and lashed out. The night ended on a crazy note and we settled fucking the night away and after that I slept so peaceful last night which I hate to admit.
“What's on your mind Alpha Camilla?” Adrian asks his toned arms flexing the steering.
“Nothing.” I murmur. I feel too good to deny his impact. My worries aren't a part from me but someone special to me.
“Come on, share it with me, aren't we friends?” He wouldn't let it go.
“Friends don't fuck Adrian, friends don't rearrange my uterus.”
“So I did that good.” he asks smiling and I shake my head.
“It’s Belle. I'm worried about her because she hasn't met her mate yet.” It's been bothering me for a long time but I kept it hidden but not any longer. She'd be lonely and sooner she'll break in spirit. No one deserves to be alone for too long. If I was in her place I'd think something was wrong with me too.
“That's just great.”
“Mtchew.” I say looking out the window.
He tsk. “She'll find him or her.”
I snapped my neck quickly at his face with his unprintable smirk. Did I hear him or her correctly? He's implying...
“She doesn't like girls, she's straight.” I replied.
“She used to love kissing girls when she was thirteen. I'm pretty sure Rachael was her first kiss.”
I clicked my tongue. “Must have been a phase because she likes men; she just loses interest in seconds.” Was there a possibility Belle has a crush on me? It's stupid to think in that direction but I can't deny if Belle was a man I won't think twice dumping the world for her. She's everything I ever wanted in a partner.
“So will you bring Arieya over like we discussed?”
“Arieya, that little girl scares me.” I confess without thinking and he laughs.
Of course I'm not scared of my daughter it's her powers that scare me. She can feel other people's pain she cries because her friends cry she's an empath and the only connection between the spirit world and our world is Arieya her gift is more dangerous than mine.
“So Alpha Camilla what's your gift?”
“What do you mean?”
“You're a royal, every royal has a special gift.”
“Oh that I'm not supposed to talk about it even the wind has ears so even after you see Arieya's gift don't say a word unless you want to lose her forever.”
“Arieya has a gift?" He asks stopping the car at the side of the road.
“Yes our daughter is the luckiest girl and if I leave her with you watch her closely don't underestimate her she is capable of so much.” I crossed my fingers, shutting down the words ready to spill of her abilities.
“Okay.”
I pulled out my claws and scratched his arm as he screeched.
“What the fuck Mia?” he growls and I take my hand and place it on the scratches.
“What are you doing?” he asks as I keep my focus on the wound.
“That's my gift.” I say pulling my hands away powerless and running out of breath. Why does healing drain me?
"What! How did you do that?” I blink in response trying not to pass out. I haven't mastered my gift yet. Adrian is the only person I've ever healed well him and Belle this one time she grazed her knee and both times I felt weak right after.
“Mia what's wrong?" he says cupping my face in his hands.
“I'm fine, it'll pass.” I whisper.
“Look at me, stay with me.”
“I'm not dying, don't worry, I just need to rest for a while.”
“Okay.” he says, kissing my forehead.
“Take me home please.” He nods and starts the car again. He holds my hand and continues to drive. An hour later he drops me at my pack and leaves without seeing Arieya because he'll see her tomorrow the entire day.
