Arielle POV continues
“I am not going to force you to keep the baby, but you need to know this baby didn't ask to be here. It's here because of you and Adrian, I know you both are too young to be parents but you should have taken better precautions so you're not teen parents.” I told her.
“Arielle,” Mom Reina warns, seeing I'm not helping much but I'm getting to it. Gulping, I turn my attention to Camilla. “That's the past, what matters is the present.” I tell her, my hand tucking strands of hair behind her ear. “You're pregnant with his child and you hate him, you don't want to mix your DNA with his but it's too late now, that baby exists, and it has no wrong in this world so you can't punish him for yours or his mistakes. You are going to have this baby.”
“It's not like I have a choice,” she snorts.
“However, you don't have to keep it, I will.”
“What?” both her and Mom Reina say in unison, Camilla popping up from where her head rests.
I nod, “I've been thinking of having another baby but the whole thing is tiring but Liam needs someone to play with. Ryan and I will adopt the child and no one will ever tell the baby the truth, you won't even have to do anything for the baby, I'll buy everything and I will take him the moment he's born.”
“No,” Camilla frowns.
“Seems like a much better option in comparison to yours.” Mom Reina tells her.
“But promise me one thing, you'll take care of yourself and the baby. No more trying to harm the baby, you should enjoy the experience. I promise you'll love it.” I grin, watching her sniff, shaking her head at me.
“I hate it, my bladder is a mess and I'm always hungry, I can't even eat what I want to eat.”
“Well then, eat.” Mom Reina chuckles. “You can always lose the baby weight and you work out a lot so that'll be easy.”
Camilla nods, wiping her tears.
“So, we have a deal?” I ask. “Are you going to be careful, eat healthy, and go to all your doctor's appointments?” I add, just to clarify.
“Yes, I promise I'll have a healthy baby.”
Alas, a sigh of relief escapes me.
“I'll get you something to eat,” Mom Reina rises, placing a kiss on her head.
“Thanks,” Camilla grins faintly, watching her mom leave.
“So,” I poke her. “How far along are you?”
“Umm, not sure but sixteen weeks.”
I frown, my eyes scanning her body. “You don't look four months pregnant,”
“I know,” she laughs. “I could have easily missed that little fact.”
“You're not eating enough or healthy so it's delaying the baby's growth, you'll show soon enough.” I assure her, my hand stroking her hair.
“Okay.” she yawns.
“So, what's going on with you and your daughter's father?...” I urge, dragging the world father in a song like manner.
This makes Camilla laugh, red claiming her cheeks. “Nothing that'll ever gain a label, but I am mad at him, and Belle deceived me.”
“Logical,” I nod.
“Very much so,” she giggles. “So, how is Liam and why do you look like that? You look worse than me.”
“I didn't get to comb my hair, I was busy giving Dark Moons Alpha some motivation when Mirabelle called me, I accidentally picked up trying to switch it off but-” I pause, not wanting to say much but one look at Camilla's scowling face has me remembering why we're here. “Fuck it, you're pregnant so I can tell you this.”
“What?”
“That I wasn't finished with Ryan, we actually both finished while I talked to her.”
“Eww, gross!”
“Don't "gross" me out, you clearly know how to motivate an Alpha, a little too well.” I frown.
Camilla rolls her eyes, “Umph, wrong Alpha.”
No, he's the right Alpha, just at the wrong time and in the wrong place. They should have met when they were in a similar stage of life. Camilla was ready to settle down from the first day while he wasn't done with his whore faze. “F.Y.I,” Camilla pokes me. “I didn't motivate any Alpha, his ego did it.”
I laugh, my head falling back so I let myself drop onto the mattress. “Kingston seems motivated.” I tease.
“Nope, don't start.” she giggles, joining me on the mattress, both of us now staring at the ceiling of her room. I see something unusual there, Camilla explains it turns her bedroom into the actual night sky, equipped with stars and a moon.
