Emilath’s POV
Alpha's Hated Mate
Emilath's POV
Everyone is walking on eggshells since receiving the text blast from Beta a week ago telling us Alpha is coming back from the hospital with Karla and she's in a killing mood.
I don't know if I'm suicidal, but I have been in her face more than I should be but the first time she noticed me screw up, she assigned Kendall and I a job. It was a simple job on my part really but for Kendall, not so much. I think everyone is going through a hard time, mostly those of us close to Karla.
However, amidst our given task, Kendall and I managed to find the perpetrators that escaped with their lives from attacking Silverline. They lead me to the person who sold us out, and now, I have him locked up in the dungeon underground also known as 'hell'. The dungeon is where Alpha Camilla will punish the intruders, as well as the person who sold us out. Kendall and a few other warriors are watching them while I go to break the news to Alpha.
I don't have to look far for her, Alpha Camilla is on the sofa, eating cupcakes off her stomach while Beta sits next to her.
Tiana was here yesterday, she came to see Karla but today Alpha's brother came to drag her right back home because she didn't let him know where she was and she left in a fit of rage. Alpha and Beta seem to be discussing something when I arrive, diverting both their attention to me.
“Hey Emily darling, what can I do for you?”
“The traitor is in hell, we found him this morning.” I tell him.
Beta's eyes widen, her focus shifting to Alpha whose face remains undisturbed. “Camilla,” Beta warns.
“Who is it?”
“Jebel.” I breathe. “What must we do with him?”
Alpha Camilla grins, licking cream off her fingers. “I will make an example of him, it looks like some people have to be taught what happens when you screw me over.” she grins, setting the cupcake box on the table.
I flinch, the calmness of her voice unsettling with me.
“Emily, can you leave us alone for a minute?” Beta asks, faking a smile.
“No,” Alpha tells her, her gaze veering back to me. “Sweetie, get me a rusty knife and a dagger, that pretty slasher Tee got me.” she winks, “Some acid, a lighter and I'll meet you in the dungeon soon.”
“Yes Alpha,” I gulp.
Beta stares at her wide eyed, my feet can't seem to move fast enough, gathering every single item she asked me for. Could be fear, excitement or both but I know whatever comes to him, he asked for it. Jebel brought this upon himself and now, we're all going to witness what happens when you do the unspeakable.
Back in the dungeon, I set all the items Alpha requested in an orderly manner on the table, Kendall helping me line them up.
“What is all this, why is it here?”
“Rule number five.” I tell her to which she nods. Rule number five states; when Alpha asks for something do it, no questions asked.
Stepping away from the table, I sneered at the sight of Jebel, because of him innocent kids got hurt, nobody died but innocent people were also hurt. I don't get to wonder for long what fate he'll get because the elevator door opens, revealing Alpha Camilla and Beta.
Alpha is still wearing her white blazer. I presume there won't be any blood shed because she adores the blazer. She wouldn't stain it, but then, it's possible she might take it off, no. Her dress is too pretty to stain, it looks perfect on her, it snags so warmly around her, showing her perfectly rounded baby bump. “Well hello Jebel,” Alpha grins.
“Alpha please,” he begins, shifting in the seat he is confined to. “Please forgive me, I was tempted by the devil, I'm truly sorry I will do anything just please_”
Alpha begins to laugh, slanting her head towards him, “By the devil?” She frowns, “I don't remember tempting you to sell me out to Alpha Benson.”
“I wasn't thinking, Satan controlled me. I swear I was brainwashed, please have mercy on me alpha I have kids.” he pleads, seemingly agitated.
“Kids? Well that changes...nothing.” her smile fades. “I know for a fact I wasn't there when y'all were fucking so don't make that my problem.” she snaps, veering to Kendall, “Sweetie, pass me the knife.”
Kendall moves hastily, handing her the rusty knife.
“Thank you,” Alpha tells her, approaching Jebel. “You sold out, you're a traitor. Do you know what I do to traitors?” she asks.
“Nevermind, you're about to find out.” She spits, her hand swiftly stabbing the old and rusty knife into his thigh until all that's seen is the handle. Jebel instantly yelps in pain but Alpha remains quiet, a smile playing on her lips when she pulls it out in one swift motion. Everyone watches silently, flinching at the sight of what she is doing to him.
When his pleas and cries of forgiveness turn subtle, she moves once again, reaching for the small bottle of acid I placed neatly earlier, she twists it open, leaning over Jebel with a blank expression. “You must be thirsty from all that screaming, drink.” she tells him.
Jebel shakes his head, pleading with Alpha Camilla to do anything but that.
Alpha grins, pressing the acid bottle to his lips, Jebel instantly pulls away when the liquid touches his skin. Alpha groans in annoyance, grabbing his chin and forcing it down his throat until she's satisfied with how much has gone into this mouth, some of the liquid burning his clothes and skin in the process.
Tossing the bottle to the side she turns to him again, yanking the rope trying his hands to the chair. “Put your arm out straight right now, or I swear to fucking God, you won't fucking like what I do to you!”
Jebel continues to scream, but lays his hand out for her. Alpha swings the slasher, blood splattering everyone, Kendall's open mouth included. People flinch, squirming in fear when his arm drops on the ground.
“Camilla!” Beta squirms, her hand covering her mouth.
Alpha turns to her shrugging as she leans down to pick the knife she jammed into his thigh earlier. Deaf to the screams of Jebel, she plunges the knife into his chest, her breath heavily affected by the effort it took to plunge the rusty thing into his chest. He cries out in pain, pleading for mercy but she can't seem to hear him.
Alpha's blazer is now soaked in blood, contrary to my earlier assumption. The knife is rusty, and not that sharp enough so when she drags it down his chest, we hear the sound of his chest ripping, the friction between his bones and the knife making everybody flinch. I close my eyes, this is too much for me but I need to see it, slowly opening my eyes, I'm met by crimson.
Crimson trailing like water down a stream from his chest, Alpha breathing heavily when she wiggles the knife to cut more of him. People are vomiting, Beta included, and I'm frozen in fear.
Alpha looks at everyone pleased with herself, tossing the blade aside and sticking her arm through him, pulling out an organ in her hand. Holding it up to Jebel she giggles, “Oops, I didn't mean to do that, the devil tempted me. But, if you can forgive me, I'll forgive you.” she blinks, watching the little life he had in him drain from his face.
When he finally dies, she turns around, “Do you think he forgave me?” She asks, only now registering the state of everyone watching her. “Ugh, when you're done with this drama," she gestures around the vomit. “Do send this traitor to Alpha Benson, and set the fools that dared play with my pack back with his body. Dead or alive, I don't fucking care about it.” She says, her face still placid as she walks past us, drenched in blood.
She stands by the elevator, “Emily, follow me.” she says, not bothering to look back at the mess she's made. “Emily!” she calls out once again, this time I move, following her hastily.
I press the button, taking us up to the house, where Alpha instructs I find her clean clothes to wear while she cleans up in one of the downstairs guest rooms. She doesn't take long, she changes them and packs the bloody clothes into a plastic, and with them off her, it's like it never happened, she appears to be that unsuspecting pregnant woman again.
“I loved that freaking blazer, Ryan is gonna be so mad when he learns what I did to it.” she snarls, walking up the stairs with me behind her.
“Hey Beautiful, Emily.”
“Hey,” I wave, my voice coming out shaken.
“Whats that?” he asks, looking at the visibly crimson drenched clothes.
“Oh nothing, I just killed someone. Is my future Alpha awake?”
“She's sleeping,” he tells her, scanning her thoroughly. “I'm calling your mother,” he tells her, walking away.
“King!” Alpha whines, following him closely behind.
