“You won't get it but the kisses are the same as forehead kisses for us. Camilla loves Adrian and he needs to apologise to her for whatever he said.” I explain. Apart from earlier we got touchy and took things to a romantic field. We stopped all of it when she decided she wanted Adrian. I've been alone hooking up with some beautiful women but nothing serious.
“I can't do that.” Adrian counters stubbornly.
“I am tired of walking into her room at 2 am and hearing her sobbing. I can't take it. I'm sorry but I love her way too much for this. You have to go and apologize, put things another way if you must, one way that won't hurt her so much, one way that won't turn her into a drug addict or alcoholic.”
Santiago hum’s my response. “I agree with this guy. Adrian if you don't go and apologise to Camilla I'm dragging you down there myself.”
“Damn right!” I cheer Santiago on boosting his morale.
“You know Camilla deserves the world but all she wants is your love bruh get some sense into that head of yours. Staying away from her is breaking her heart. Do you want to ruin her forever?” Santiago talks to Adrian whose face is devoid of emotions. He's one lucky bastard. I wish I was in his place to be the one to wake up next to her in the morning and retire to bed in her blooming embrace.
“No, I don't think I can make her happy again.” Adrian expresses regrets as he closes and opens his eyes. His eyes looked red like the emotions had begun to hit harder where necessary.
“Come on, this is Camilla. She's happy with the little things in life. The simple things of waking up to you every morning would make her happy, seeing you smile will make her happier and spending time with you will make her happiest.” Santiago intercedes. It gave me some sort of relief he isn't a douchebag like I thought.
“Just give it a try.”
He peered at me with his dangerous stares and I responded stern for sternness, fire for fire. I won't leave until he does the right thing and takes her back. Mia has depreciated into a shadow of her bubbling life and under no circumstance will I watch her get washed over.
“I want to give it more than a try.” Adrian confesses.
My palms connected to the other rendering loud strikes. “Go for it then.”
“Either go on your own or I'll make you do it.” Santiago drags his arms wanting to lift him to his feet on the go.
“And I'll help him.”
“I just…” Adrian pauses. He sounds and looks scared who would have thought the powerful Adrian Carter is so weak and scared out of wit because of a woman.
“Don't overthink it life happens, take this chance whatever happens in the future let it.” I advise.
“I told you Adrian you can't change the past, don't continue to dwell and judge yourself based on what an immature selfish young you did. You're not that person anymore you've had growth you are just as miserable as Camilla all that puking you've been doing the dizziness you're just pathetic without her so be great again and get your Luna.” Santiago takes the bull by the horn hitting the damages all the way leaving no stones unturned.
“Okay you're right I love Mia and I'm not the same person I was when I met her. I'm going to get my woman back even if it kills me.” He said with renewed confidence as he wiped something from his cheek. I didn't look enough to catch earlier that he had been crying.
“Finally you understand what took you so damn long six fucking months I've been trying to convince you.” Santiago chuckles, punching Adrian's arms as they burst into laughter.
“He's hard headed.” I observe.
“Enough okay don't trash me I was a coward for not going after her despite the consequences.” Adrian begged.
“The only consequences awaiting you are happiness, peace, love, nail scratches and temper tantrums.”
“And babies please tell me Arieya will have little brothers and sisters.” Santiago asked.
Adrian shakes his head in thoughts. “That's up to Camilla, it's her body, I can't make that decision.”
“Adrian treat her right. If you break her heart I'm going to break your face.” I warn pointing at him sternly. He better not go back into Angel's panties or slip by fucking some random whore or else I'll put my life in the line to end him.
“Don't worry I'll never break her heart again and besides I would rather break her back.” he says smiling.
My work here is done. I turned to leave when I felt a slight tap on my shoulder and I turned around to see Santiago towering closely.
“Thanks for coming out here.”
“I'll need your help with something both of you.” Adrian appeals.
“Anything as long as it's for her.” I answer. He has nothing to worry about when it's Mia related. I'm her foot soldier.
“It is.”
“What's the plan?” Santiago asked, flipping his attention to Adrian.
“I've spent so much time away from Mia I want to marry her in the next few weeks.”
“What!” I exclaimed, choking on my spittle as I let out a cough. If anyone would have told me Adrian has such intentions I wouldn't have believed.
Adrian rolls his eyes not detailed by my surprise outburst. “Help me plan a surprise wedding when it's ready I'll go and ask her and if she says no then well we'll have a party.”
“She won't say no and I think it's an amazing idea.” I blessed the idea.
“Bruh you don't just plan a woman's wedding without her.” Santiago doubts.
“Mirabelle can help.” I spinned.
“Yes and I know some things she'd like to have at our wedding. I'm sure as hell Camilla would love to get married in our garden. It's her favourite place.” Adrian says in fondness like a memory he had years ago and now he can't wait to put it into reality.
“Or her mother's house that she purchased 3years ago the garden is beautiful as well and the pool it's a beautiful house.” I said my part in his statement. Camilla has always been open to things that matters most to her and those were things that shaped her into her person.
“Okay so we'll have to ask Camilla without her knowing.” Santiago rubs his stubbles at his dissection.
“How?”
I set Adrian's worries to the rest. “I'll create a fake survey and make her choose her options then we'll get whatever she chooses done or we could create a gaming app and I'll make up some story.”
“Gentlemen we have a wedding to pull off and we'll need lots of help!” Adrian sounded victorious already, that's the spirit.
“Kendall, her assistant can keep her occupied for as long as you need.” I plotted.
“We need people that know Camilla so well like Arielle.” Santiago says.
Adrian looks awful. “I can't step foot in Ryan's pack.”
“I'll let her know.”
“Thank You.” Adrian brings out a hand for a shake and I take it as we shake hands.
“It’s fine I'm doing it for Camilla, you and her have proven love is real and it's only fair you guys have a happy ending.”
“They deserve it. They've been through shit with or without each other.” Santiago cements my statement.
