Sheryl's POV

Sheryl's POV

Keeping Camilla locked wasn't easy on me. I'm a sucker for Camilla. I'd manage to keep my daughter locked but with Camilla something just happens to me guilt maybe or love whatever it is it makes my life a living hell.

I took her breakfast to her and she refused to eat. I intended to keep her for a month but we couldn't let her go just yet. We had to be sure she was going to be herself and not relapse.

Amaya holds a family photograph of Arieya as she points at the picture of the girl rocking a blue princess gown with a crown on her head. “And who is this?” Amaya began.

“Are we really doing this again? I know what my daughter looked like at 7 and a ½ months.” Camilla brushes the exercise to the side. Her drowning eyes aren't helping, she lacked sleep all through the night as she stayed awake crying her heart out. I know she misses her family and love but we can't trust Camilla with the responsibility of being with herself. It's a dangerous risk.

“Just making sure you recall.” Amaya put down the photograph and slid her fingers to her throat massaging the hurt as a result of talking for hours.

Her brows wrinkles. “I know everything there is to know about my life, Aunt Amaya, the only thing that's unclear was my wedding day.”

I eye the Doctor to take over and she springs to action. “What do you remember about it?”

“Ummm the night before Adrian came to see me and asked me to marry him. I thought he was joking when he said we'd get married the next day but the following morning Belle came to my room with the kids. My kids and her nieces were dressed in all cute little flower girl dresses. Kendall took them away and Arieya was clinging to me. She cried for me and I let her stay. She sat in the bed while I got ready talking to her imaginary friend..” Camilla breathes hard, shutting her eyes for a brief moment.

“Do you remember what they were talking about?” The doctor in charge of healing inquired with her writing pad to jot down in detail.

“Yes they were giggling and watching me get dressed then she said hmm mommy the angel is waiting for you I asked her what angel she pointed beside her and said her name was Arieya.” She buried her face between her hands.

I slid to bed and held her in my arms for comfort. “Continue.”

She takes control of her raging emotions. “Well I finished getting ready, went to the wedding venue and I got married to Adrian and on our way to the reception my viel flew off my head because I was screaming and dancing in the car. The car stopped and I went to get it with Adrian. Then I think we got hit. All I remember is the syringes and our blood soaked my dress. I looked at Adrian beside me and watched as he took his last breath.”

“That's it?”

“Yes.” Camilla nods.

The doctor notes something on the pad and closes it before peering up to Mia. “Camilla Arieya was with you as you got ready but she didn't tell you anyone was waiting for you, you made it all up in your head.”

“No she did.” Camilla insists.

“That was you trying to justify your death in your story, you weren't even hit by the car. Adrian saved you but he lost consciousness because he hit his head hard and you just got a few scratches. The wedding happened and you were about to go into your car when your viel flew. Some of the scenarios were made up, some happened.” The doctor stated.

“So Adrian didn't die?” her lips shivered as her body trembled.

“No he didn't you thought he did and you passed out then when you woke up you were a different person we called you Jinx.” I say.

“Jinx was my imaginary friend as a child.” she responds with a faraway look.

“She was you, you were Jinx. You created that personality because you didn't believe you could get into trouble so you would create her. Everyone played it innocent and let you play it out. It was harmless. We didn't think you had schizophrenia.”

“I have schizophrenia?”

“Not anymore.” The Doctor rules out with a smile.

She nodded and bit on her lip. “So what happened to the baby?”

“That's Adrian's story to tell you.” I replied putting her question to rest. It wasn't our story to tell but theirs. No one has a right to influence it.

“I didn't lose her did I?” she asked with a croaky voice.

The Doctor cocked her neck to the side stretching for a bit to relieve hours spent going back and forth with the same topic. “Oh you know the gender?”

“No I just assumed it'd be another girl because well it's Adrian he loves Arieya and he gets what he wants God seems to favor him more than me.” she joked.

Amaya cocks her head at an eye angle with the working Doctor. “so doctor…” she let the doctor finish.

“We've made progress these past few months. Camilla is doing fine without her medication except for the nightmares. Can you tell me about them?”

“I've been getting them since I was little. It's some sort of trauma from the accident I survived.”

The doctor nods and eyes me.

“When can I see my daughters?” Camilla demands.

Amaya calls the shots because I'm emotional with my decisions.

“Amaya.”

“Auntie Amaya?” Camilla wandering gaze clicked at her.

“Well if the doctor thinks you're good then you can go any day.” Amaya concludes.

“God I hope my kids don't hate me.”

“They don't, we'd call them when you were sane or we'd send them messages by manipulating you into saying what we want you to.” I revealed in a bid to make her appeased with herself and it worked as she quieted down.

“Okay so can I go see them now?” Camilla asked impatiently. She can't hold it anymore and it's right her family get to be with her, it will hasten her healing process.

“Yes I think you're all good to go but you have to see me once a week and call me twice if you can.” The Doctor prescribes her hands lost in her scrubs pockets as she accesses Mia with her professional glasses.

“I will Mrs Neha.” Camilla smiles decently for the first time.

“Okay then I guess we can go after you eat.” Amaya orders she has been bugging Mia to eat but the other woman seems the least hungry.

“I'm not hungry, Auntie.” Camilla wrinkled her nose like the smell of rotten eggs.

Amaya sighs. “Do you want to change your clothes?”

“No I'm okay, it's comfortable.” Camilla responds.

“I'll get the helicopter ready and check if Adrian is home.” I leave the room and call my pilot. He's on call 24/7. He says he will be ready in an hour which gives us enough time to go to Adrian's pack.

Amaya gets Camilla's drawings and puts them into one file on top of the book she would write and draw in sometimes. She draws beautifully. It took us 6-7 hours to get to the golden Hunters pack but we made it.

It was late when we arrived. Someone opened the door and we went to see Adrian in his office.

“Adrian, I have a surprise for you.” I barged in.

“Sheryl, I wasn't expecting you here.” Adrian rose from his executive office chair, his eyes red and puffy.

“I told you I'd come and I'm here and brought a surprise to cheer you up, you know brighten the rest of your life.”

Adrian cock's his head.

“Thumbelina.” I say looking behind me and Cami walks in.

“Hi.” Camilla says shyly, her eyes wandering on every cent of the office, trying to pick the broken pieces of the time she lost.

“Mia..” His eyes popped almost out of its socket as he knocked his chair to the floor and sprinted to her.

She nods.

“I'll come and see you both tomorrow morning before I leave. Amaya is waiting and please make sure she eats something before she goes to bed she's not eaten today.” I say walking out.
