Arielle POV continues

“Ryan,” I cut in. “She can still finish law school and have a baby, she shouldn't have thought of abortion in the first place. Camilla isn't a little girl anymore, it's no secret she's not a virgin, with the reputation that you have, this was bound to happen.”

“What do we do now? We can't force her into motherhood.”

“I'll fly to Silverline and have a talk with her. She's probably scared, this isn't what she had planned for herself, especially not after splitting from Adrian. A baby is a huge responsibility, it's not like that pack or anything she can easily walk away from, this is a lifelong commitment, and she knows that.” I tell him, tossing my phone on the mattress next to me.

Before he responds, a knock lands on our bedroom door, I know who it is before I'm even at it. I rise, grabbing my towel off the floor and wrapping it around myself as I move towards the door. Twisting the lever, I yank it open, Mom Reina stands on the other side, a credit card in her hand. “Oh, am I interrupting?” she frowns.

“No,” I giggle nervously. “Absolutely not.”

“Okay, I put my grandson down for a nap, and I came to ask if you'd want to accompany me shopping. I want to get some last minute gifts before my trip soon.”

“I'd love to but I'm going to Silverline so I can't.” I tell her.

“Silverline? Excellent, we'll go together, Ryan can look after his son once he awakens. It's been a while since I've seen my daughter, facetime isn't cutting it for me.” she frowns.

“Umm,” I trail off, my head peeking back at Ryan who shrugs, walking off into the bathroom. “I'll get showered then, and I will meet you in ten minutes.”

“Twenty five Mom!” Ryan yells from the bathroom, making his mother giggle.

My cheeks flash red, “No, there's pressing matters there, I'll be out in ten.” I assure her.

******

A two and a half hour flight with my mother-in-law has never been more long and awkward, I couldn't sit comfortably with her knowing full well she's aware her son railed me for twenty minutes in the shower. Yes, Ryan made good on his proclamation of time, I not so much. On our way to Silverline, I called Mirabelle twice, inquiring about Camilla's latest antics.

Mom Reina was a tad bit confused but I filled her in, giving her the basics;

A: Camilla is pregnant, and

B: She's scared so she doesn't want to have it.

That was it, I couldn't bring myself to tell her that her loving daughter is trying to force a baby out of her prematurely, ignoring all consequences that will follow through.

When the plane landed, I was so grateful for the breath of fresh air. For someone that is smoothly and perfect running the pack, Camilla is too chickened out about the baby. Silverline's market price is high, nearly as high as Dark Moon, if she purchased it with her money, it would have been too expensive but thankfully, it's a token, from the council.

The council is controlled by the Royals, which explains why she got away with nearly killing one of them, despite the challenge being laid out, any other person would have had to pay some price for it.

Mom Reina has been here twice, and both times she was fascinated by the place, from the main gate to the pack house doors. Mirabelle is pacing around when we walk through the doors, pausing when she sees us, her eyes widening when she discerns Mom Reina. “You.. you brought her mom?" Question evident in her stare.

“Luna Reina, Ari.” she greets, her hands wrapping around Mom Reina before me, giving us both short yet warm hugs.

“So glad you're here, and you brought Mom Reina.” she wheezes.

“Oh honey, don't worry about me. I'm glad she told me, Camilla is a hard headed child, just like her brothers and sister.”

“Where is she?” I ask.

Mirabelle's gaze drifts to the staircase momentarily. “In her room, fighting cravings.”

“How is that going?” Mom Reina asks, “She's good at restraint but pregnancy hormones are sinister.”

“Horrible, she's had two pieces of chocolate cake and a pack of those biscuits Queen Amaya sent over to bribe her to attend her family dinner this weekend.” Mirabelle snorts.

“Is she craving anything healthier?” I frown, knowing how hard it is to eat healthy when your cravings are stronger than the grip that held the come in your pussy in the first place. I had sour cravings throughout my pregnancy but I could tolerate sweets a little.

“If you don't count avocado slices then no.” She chuckles.

Mom Reina and I follow Mirabelle to Camilla's bedroom. She knocks on her door until she responds, through a text that vibrates through her phone. “Hey,” Mirabelle grins, opening the door.

“What now?” Camilla groans.

“You know how you're a walking hazard, well, I figured you need someone to talk to since you won't talk to me.” She shrugs, opening the door wider.

I'm the first to walk in, catching her by surprise. “You called Arielle,” she pauses, her eyes widening when she sees her mother. “And mom?”

“Hello my little princess,” Mom Reins grins, opening her arms for her. Camilla rises from the bed, rushing to hug Mom Reina, a smile tossed at me.

Belle walks over to the bed, with me behind her, while I settle on the other end, she collects every paper on Camilla's bed. “I will finish this while you guys talk.” she says, her gaze on Camilla who is glaring back at her. “Ari, can I get you anything?”

“No, don't worry about it, if we need anything Camilla will get it.” I told her.

Mirabelle nods, securing all papers in her hand before walking away, the door clicking when she leaves. Camilla settles in the middle of the bed, the very spot she previously occupied, with Mom Reina next to her. Camilla is trying not to look at her mother, she's looking at me instead.

“Are you okay baby?”

“I'm okay,” she nods, shrugging. She's tense, but she won't bite on her nails because it's a pure giveaway to us. This is the Alpha Camilla persona, but with her hormones all over the place, you can evidently see through her.

“Camilla,” I call out, my hand reaching for hers. In response she shakes her head, “Mirabelle told me everything, and I told Mom Reina because she was going to find out when we got here.”

Camilla gasps, “Great, now you're both disappointed in me.” she scowls, her voice breaking at the end.

“Princess,” mom Reina sighs, caressing her arm. “We are not disappointed in you, I was a little surprised by it but that doesn't mean I'm disappointed with you.”

Camilla turns to her, tears streaming down her face now. “I don't want to have a baby Mom, I can't do this. I don't want to resent my child because everytime I see his face, I'll recollect all the wrong he did to me, I'll remember him, I don't want to remember him at all.” she sobs, more tears falling.

Mom Reina wipes her tears, pulling her into her chest and attempting to soothe her. “It's okay baby, shhuu...”

“No, it's not, I loved him, I loved that ungrateful soul!” she sobs.

“I know baby,” I murmur, my hand rubbing her thigh. “ I'm sorry he didn't act right, I'm sorry he screwed up, you deserved so much better.”

“What is it about me that he didn't like?” she cries, sitting upright. “What was it, why wasn't I enough for him? Why didn't he trust me?”

“Adrian loved you, I'm sure he loves you but some things aren't so easy to explain.” Mom Reina tells her, brushing her tears away, only for them to be replaced with more. Her head rests in Mom Reina's lap, crying her eyes out. Mom Reina looks to me for help, I don't know how to help her either.

“I don't want his baby,” Camilla quivers.

“It's okay, I'm here for you.” I tell her, to which she nods. “We'll find a way, you don't have to raise the baby, or kill it.”

She cries even harder, it breaks her heart that she can't love her baby because Adrian fucked her up, she's scared of having a baby that looks just like him, of parenting with him. She can't think straight, but soon enough, I know she'll be calm soon enough.

“I have an idea, but I promise I'll need you to make me a promise.”

Camilla shakes her head, sniffing on her hand.
