Chapter 101
I watched Trevor as he talked to the three warriors while I sat on a large rock. He began walking away with them pointing at something in the opposite direction I was. Suddenly I had the urge to just know what he was telling them,they looked so invested in whatever he was saying. As soon as they were at a further distance I quickly slipped away.
Getting away was easier than I thought,now all I had to do was reach a distance were I would be vulnerable to these creatures. I had a feeling they were cleverer than we thought,this would be proven if my plan worked. I kept walking into the forest faster after all I knew this forest,we hunted here all the time.
I held onto my knife. I had stolen it from the castle just for protection although deep down I knew this weapon wasn't really going to protect me from the creatures roaming earth now especially these two creatures werewolves and bad banshees.I shook my head as I realized it was getting darker and darker.Trevor was right if my plan failed I was totally triple fucked .
I rubbed my hands as I came to a stop,there was no sign of these monsters. Not even a sound. The sun had sunk and was replaced by the full moon. "Okay just calm down,it's not so bad" I told myself and suddenly there was low howl from a distance. "It's just a normal wolf don't panic keep walking" I reassured myself.
Talking to myself was crazy but it kept me from freaking out because I felt so alone and cold. After taking another step suddenly I was pushed to the ground by a heavy weight I didn't even have time to scream. I quickly rolled on the ground until I was on my back looking up at the sky. Before I could get on my feet there was a sharp pain of razor sharp nails digging into my feet as something dragged me like a rag doll to God knows where. This time I screamed so loud because I knew this had to be them, I remember the sharp pain of a banshees razor sharp nails and this was it.
I screamed as I clawed my short nails onto the ground trying to get a grip on something. This was so weird ,why wasn't it screeching or making any sounds. I looked down at my feet until I saw a glimpse of the pale white creature,it was so quick and silent as it raced through the forest I couldn't even see properly or get a grip on something-anything. That didn't stop me from screaming though, I had to scream because 'he' had to save me and they had to see that the actual threat was real.
Suddenly I was in the air as the bad banshee threw me down into what looked like a pit "No! No!" I screamed as my body hit the hard ground after what felt like minutes. How were they going to find me in this black hole! My heart raced as I tried to see but everything was literally black. I could hardly see the full moon from here.
There was a sudden crunching sound on the ground and I screamed. "If you keep screaming it will come back for you" a low male voice spoke and my eyes widened in shock.
I quickly moved back "what!Who are you?" I asked holding my knife tightly,ready to attack if necessary.
"I'm Isaac ,I'm an omega." he said almost silently but I heard him clearly
"A low ranking wolf,how did you end up here? Away from your pack," I asked with a firm grip on my knife. He was a wolf and that meant he was still dangerous. He wasn't supposed to be here, I knew quite a bit about wolves and I knew if a wolf was away from its pack for way too long he would go rogue-in other words 'mad'. A mad werewolf would be dangerous especially for me right now.
"I was hunting, broke the rules for a bit and went further away from home. I didn't know I was going to be attacked by some white creature out of nowhere" he said and I swear I could feel him rolling his eyes or something. He sounded annoyed.
"How long have you been in here?" I asked curiously
He sighed "about three or four days"
"And it hasn't killed you?" I thought out loud
"As you can see. This is the second time it has made an appearance after it left me here four days ago." he said
I slowly sat on the ground after I realized I would tire myself out if I kept standing "That's weird,why is it keeping us here"
There were sudden low screeching sounds above us and I quickly stood up "what is that?"
"I have no idea ,it's always silent. This is the first time I'm hearing so many of them" he said and I could hear him standing up.
I screamed as I heard two of them land close to me and my body hit the walls as one of them pushed me. I screamed again as the process continued three times. I heard Isaac shout loudly above me as the second creature carried him away and I screamed as the first one jumped. I felt like I was flying as the banshee carried my body out of the pit.
My body was thrown roughly onto the ground next to Issac and my eyes quickly scanned the area. My heart sank as I noticed that we were surrounded by a lot of them.
"We are fucked" Isaac said next to me.
Before I could reply him there was a loud thunderous growl as a huge black beast appeared out of the forest. It was the largest wolf ever, it was 'him'. His wolf was large it had both me and Isaac crawling back. In seconds he was ripping the banshees apart as if they were nothing.
I watched in awe as his sharp teeth sank into one of the banshees but they kept coming at him. Three of them jumped onto his back and they screeched so loud my ears began to ring I screamed. I could feel blood running down my ears and my nose. I watched as his large wolf form staggered back for a bit and his golden eyes turned red all of a sudden. His beast form quickly changed into half human ,he was grey with black veins popping out on every inch of his naked form.His muscles were pulsing as he growled and rolled on ground crushing the three banshees that were stuck on his back.
"What the fuck is that" Isaac asked in horror
"Your king" karen answered him as she picked me up from the ground.
