Chapter 77
I breathed out,that is all I could do after being told by the man standing right in front of me that he was basically a mass murderer. I mean I knew that he was but I did not need him to rub it in reminding me that I should be freaking out. I couldn't afford to lose this little courage that I had build up in the past couple of few days. He smirked and took a step back "Get some rest someone will bring your food up" he said walking away and I watched him as he left the room.
"Nice talk Alex" I whispered to myself rolling my eyes.
I walked to the bed and sat down.I slid off my heels breathing out in relief,at last my feet were free. My mind quickly started plotting,firstly I had go meet Sophie and Mason.They probably thought I had abandoned them by now.I had to go see them immediately so I stood up and raced to the closet. I quickly wore my white tennis shoes and raced out of the room thankfully the guards weren't at their posts for some unknown reason.
I was walking around still in my dress which would really attract attention but luckily for me the hallways were almost empty and where I was heading nobody really played around in that area. I got there faster than I had even imagined without being spotted and breathed in deeply before knocking on their door three times. Nobody answered the first time and I started panicking after I heard a few men talking which meant the guards were close. I knocked again louder this time.
Mason opened the door lazily and his eyes widened a little after looking down at me.He looked relieved and shocked to see me at the same time.I blinked twice waiting for him to let me in but he just stood there frozen, "Mason they can't see me out here" I said impatiently and he jumped a little. He was definitely acting so weird.
He let me in and I entered.Mason cleared his throat "please sit" he said quickly and I sat on the couch.
He sat down as well facing me and I swallowed "Listen I am really sorry I came here so late,you must have thought the worst of me," I apologized sincerely "I got caught up in something serious but it is a good thing because now we can use this information against him"
"what information?" Sophie said making an appearance,I did not even notice when she walked in.
''The Alpha King has enemies" I told them
Sophie scoffed "Of course he has enemies don't we all"
"Let her talk Sophie" Mason said a little annoyed
I smiled at him and continued "He has strong enemies that have ways of getting rid of him and they are willing to make a deal with anyone who is willing to do the job for them."
Sophie laughed sarcastically "Excuse me but that is a suicide mission,do you think a simple human can kill that beast. You need God himself to do that,don't tell me you came this whole way to ask us to go and get ourselves killed"
"No not at ,all we just need is a good plan to provoke the other team so they can go to war with each other then that way we can escape without them noticing.They will be too busy at war." I explained
"That's actually not a bad idea,the problem is how are we going to cause this war?"Mason asked scrunching up his eyebrows .
"First of all we need to know what the cause of tension is between the two rivals plus are you sure causing a war is whats best for everyone. This is too extreme guys." Sophie said
"Give us a better solution Sophie,please." Mason said looking exhausted.I didn't blame him this whole life was so tiring even for me.
Sophie sighed looking at me "Fine so tell us about the rival team Lucy"
" They are some kind of a clan or pack. From what I have gathered so far they were banished from these lands by the king Alexander and they are definitely not happy about that. They want these lands and they believe that they deserve to have this land but the king won't let them. He is not very happy about having them anywhere near here,he calls this place his territory. I am not sure how big his territory is but If we find a way to provoke him and make it look like the rivals did it I am sure we can trigger a war" I said without blinking. I couldn't believe I had actually come with a way to cause a war.
Mason looked impressed,he smiled "This sounds like a plan,all we need to do is find out how big his territory is,which parts he calls his territory. After that all we need to do is kill a wolf and pin it on the kings enemy"
"This sounds great and everything but please can somebody tell me how the fuck we are gonna kill a grown ass giant dog!" Sophie said throwing her hands up shaking her head
"It doesn't have to be hard Sophie, We get one of the best warriors in here. Cook a little poison lunch,plan a date and make sure the dog eats it then you leave the rest to me." Mason said with a grin on his face.
I smiled excitedly "That is a great idea,If we choose one of his best warriors to kill it will definitely make the King angry.He is already on the edge when it comes to his enemies.All we have to do is make sure that this plan works perfectly because if things go wrong we will be killed by the King himself-personally" I said swallowing hard and they both nodded.
"I will find out how big his territory is and which spots really belong to him.After that I will get back to you." Mason said with a smile looking directly at me and I tried not to think too much about the looks he was giving me ever since I walked in.
"I will make the poison and plan Lucy's date with one of the dogs.She will have to pick one to seduce." Sophie said with a devilish smirk.
"No ways she can't do that ,it's dangerous" Mason said angrily.
"Oh so you want me to do it but not her?I am your family!" Sophie exclaimed
I sighed "It's fine I will do it"
