Chapter 120
When we got to the meeting hall everyone was already sitted in their seats. So maybe we were a bit late because of Alexander to be honest, he had a lot of sexual energy. Whenever I thought about our previous events alone my face would just go red. So I tried not to think about it because we had much more serious matters to think about and act on.
I sat next to the Alpha King on an empty seat. I smiled at Amara who was sitting opposite me surprisingly next to the beta. I was going to ask about that later, my friends were not allowed to attend the se meetings because apparently they were just commoners and worse humans. I hated that but I wanted to be here, I would stand for my people.
"I am sure you have all heard that the banshees have crossed the South borders. We need to act on that fast, I suggest that we use the witch and our best tracker to track the ones that have trespassed. After that we kill them, make sure that all our borders have the best warriors, increase their numbers as well then we deal with the rest," he said folding his arms "Does anyone else have a better idea or something to add on"
Karen nodded her head "I think that's a good idea. We have to ensure that we are safe and our people are safe. I will personally see to it that we increase our security and that our warriors are ready for this threat"
"I will leave that to you then Karen. We cannot have this happening again especially on my territory. Witch, what can you do for us" he said narrowing his eyes at Sharma, daring her not to have a contribution regarding this situation.
She cleared her throat, I did not miss the glance she gave me before responding to the king. "Since they are on this territory I can track them down easily and blind them. I will cast a spell that will ruin their vision they won't see the warriors coming and this will weaken them as well. This will also give Karen the chance to strengthen the borders before more come crawling in"
"Karen you should probably go now. Make sure each border has more wolves and some in their human form." Alexander commanded
"We must raise an army to get rid of those creatures especially now that we know where they rest" Vladimir cut in
I sighed "The problem is we do not even know if that's where they all rest, there could more somewhere out there"
Lewis narrowed his eyes at me "The witch has confirmed that right now that is were she senses them, nowhere else. Shouldn't that mean something"
"Is that what you said, Sharma" the King asked eyeing the witch. I did not trust her at all.
She smiled "Yes, they are coming from there. Even if I'm not correct at least you would have killed most of them. We have to deal with the problem we have now."
"Wait," Amara said looking at everyone "every creature has a leader and if we get rid of the leader then we get rid of them all easily-right?"
"this is not some silly movie human. If there is a leader it makes matters worse, they will try to avenge the leaders death if we do manage to kill that leader." Vladimir put in
Sharma tapped her fingers on the table "listen banshees do not have a leader, they have someone who is controlling them and it could be any of us. It could be a werewolf, a witch and even a human as well."
"I will find out who it is one way or another and when I do that person will wish they never existed on this planet." Alexander said with a straight face. He really looked scary at this point.
"I will get the warriors prepared to kill the ones already within our territory while you work with the witch. We will wait for your command my King" Lewis said standing up and he pulled Amara with him. I raised an eyebrow at her and she shrugged giving me one of her guilty smiles. There was definitely something going on between those two.
Alexander nodded at him and they left together. I was definitely going to give that girl a serious interrogation because what the 'actual fuck?'
"Vladimir you will make sure to have the rest of our warriors ready to burn down the banshees territory, well the one we know about right now. Make sure our home is heavily guarded. We have a lot at stake here." he said and surprisingly Vladimir nodded with passion. These creatures were ready to protect their home nomatter what and they were quite good at working together. Way better than humans to be honest.
When it came to protecting ourselves as humans we were always somehow divided. We were quite good at backstabbing one another or fighting each other, this is why it was easy for the werewolves to attack and wipe out most of our population.
After Vladimir left, it was just me, the witch and the king. "let us begin" Sharma said standing up from her seat and we followed her.
Sharma led us to her workspace were she did most of her spells and whatever witches do in their 'private rooms'. There were a lot of herbs, flowers and actual cats - quite typical.
We sat around a round table and she took out a map. "This is your territory," she said circling his territory on the map with a dagger "give me your hand" she said staring at the King.
He didn't even think twice as he did what she said. She slit his palm, he didn't Blink or look hurt as she let his palm bleed on the spot she had circled on the map "Now we search for what does not belong, now we spot the enemy, now we end the enemy" she said and the blood on the map started to move.
I blinked twice as I watched real magic happening right in front of me. She let go of his hand which had already healed and she lighted two candles beside her. I wanted to speak and say some dumb word like 'wow' but Alexander's look alone told me to shut the fuck up and let the witch do her work. He also looked like he was concentrating on something.
"Now we spot the enemy, We take away their sight, we find what does not belong, their vision is ours, we end the enemy, we end the threat... We end the threat, we seek what does not belong," she chanted and the candles got brighter. The room was suddenly warmer, the blood separated into tiny dots and the first dot moved to the South on an area called Laxiar.
The king watched and he whispered Laxiar as If he was talking to someone. Third one landed on Amadel, he whsiprered It again. In the North his blood moved to Shelby then Mount Chase, Zivrar. West it moved to Pariah, Douglas County. Lastly East, it moved to Berin and Bedford shore. Then the candles went out.
I was beyond amazed and impressed. I learned not to ever underestimate the power of a witch and to think I used to believe they were good for nothing decievers. Boy was I wrong. She smiled at me and I returned the smile-impressive.
