Chapter 109
"She is not your Queen!" he said shaking me as he held my neck tightly I knew his hands were going to leave a mark.
I tried getting away from him but the effort was quite useless really. The betas eyes were still black as he watched me carefully although his eyes were now mainly stalking his mates movements. I also took a glimpse of Amara ,she was being held by one of the guards but she looked just fine.
The older looking guy suddenly decided to talk again as he watched me "I do not think the King would appreciate you treating her like this,she looks terrible already honestly."
"Oh trust me he won't even know what happened here today because she is going to tell him what I tell her to tell him. Don't worry Rick" He said with a devious smirk that had my skin crawling.
What the hell was he even talking about,I was so tempted to scoff and spit in his face screaming 'in your dreams dog!' but I knew better -this wasn't a movie. Any wrong move and I would be dead. It would only take him less than a second to snap my neck if I bored him in any ways.
"What do you mean?" Rick asked curiously.
I also listened closely , I wanted to find out what he was really up to . He increased the grip on my neck "The King is going to come back later,he will notice his mate is wounded but she will not tell him what happened."
"What!" I said in shock looking at him in disgust "what makes you think I will do as you say!"
He dragged me closer to him " if you want your little humans to survive in this place then you will do as I say. I know where they are being kept and I have access to them so you better play along or else..." he smirked as he let go of my neck. He knew there was nothing I could do at this point , I was beyond terrified and angry .
"Ahhhhh clever,very clever indeed" Rick said as he held his chin whilst nodding his head.
"Well I am sure non of you have a problem with this,yes?"he asked the men in front of him-the guards.
They did not take even a second to nod their heads,obviously they were loyal to their own kind.Drogo smiled "we are with you...we stand and fight for our own-always and forever" he said and they all put their right fist on their chest.
Loyalty...these species respected loyalty to their own but somehow I felt like Vladimir was going against his King. I felt like this was going to cause a lot of trouble in the near future but if lying to another werewolf meant protecting my people then I would do it over and over again. This was us against them and a whole lot of other problems.
"I won't tell your king anything just stay away from my friends and my babies" I spat the words with so much anger. In another world I wouldn't have the courage to even speak with such a tone to these creatures but this was me now. I had to be strong for myself and my people.
Vladimir seemed pleased by this but Amara on the other hand just looked at me with confusion but she didn't act up which was very good because her acting up would mean more trouble for me to take care of.
"Good,keep this attitude up and we won't have too much trouble with you"he said with a grin "let them go I think we are done here"
The guard holding Amara let him go and I quickly grabbed her hands. We walked away quickly but I didn't miss the growl the beta gave me as he watched me holding his mate. We weren't in good books and I expected more attacks from him in the future especially after I killed his son.
"Why would you do anything that creep says Lu?" Amara asked in a hushed tone
I kept walking "isn't it obvious Amara! I will do absolutely anything just to protect you...and lying to another one of those beasts means nothing to me as long as my people are safe"
She kept quiet for a few seconds "okay"
We got back to our room and immediately the guys were around us looking worried "Are you okay? What happened?" Persius asked fast
"A lot happened" I replied...I didn't even know were to start to be honest.
Trevor shook his head "You look hurt let me take a look at that" he said touching my neck and I winced- it really did hurt a lot.
I shook my head "No,it's okay but we do need to figure out how we are going to get away and the same time use them to our advantage" I said taking a seat on one of the chairs in the room.
"Well first of all we need to look for the twins" Marcia spoke
Amara was really quick to respond "No we don't ,I already know where they are so that's one thing we do not have to worry about. There are like only two to three guards standing outside the doors but I'm not sure about who is inside though"
"Wait how do you know all that?" Persius asked curiously
She smirked "That's what I was doing all this time ,looking for the kids. We can't just sit around and follow their orders. Helping them to defeat these banshees while at the end of the day they will be on to us when those creatures are all gone"
I nodded my head "she is absolutely right, we know where the kids are now all we need to do is figure out how to escape."
"I think I have an idea!" Marcia exclaimed
"Okay what is it?" I asked curiously
"We kidnap Vladimir ,"she said with a smirk
