Chapter 62
***LUCY'S POV (25YEARS AGO)***
"so,you never told me your name..."Benjamin said as we walked through the forest after our short break.
I smiled at him " My name is Lucy and it is a pleasure to have met you little Benjamin."
He frowned kicking a stone in front of him," I am not little,"
"Yes you are little," I laughed softly following him as he increased his pace looking flustered. He definitely didn't like being teased."slow down a little," I called out to him with-holding another giggle.
"We are here!''he said walking through some thick bushes. I followed him and widened my eyes,there was a small cottage right in front of me surrounded by trees and plenty of large bushes to hide it from the rest of the world.
"Come!"Benjamin said holding my hand and I followed him.
We walked to the door and he opened it immediately,he was really excited and glad to be back home.Just as we entered I had a gun pointed to my head and ready to pop my brains out. My breathing rate quickly increased and my hands began shaking in fear. I didn't want to die,dying was my worst fear. I have never been ready to die and yet I had nothing to really live for.
"Do not make a fucking move or else I will blast your brains out!" a feminine voice stated with so much confidence,I swear she was ready to just shoot me already.
Benjamin quickly stood in front of me," Lily Sophie May put that gun down already!You are scaring her."
The voice I knew now belonged to Lily groaned a little "and who is she,huh?"she said still pointing her gun at me.
"This is Lucy and she saved my life so you cannot hurt her. If it wasn't for her I would be dead!"he said with pride and I couldn't help but smile.
Lily slowly pulled the gun away from my head and I slowly looked at her. She was definitely Benjamin's sister alright. They had the same dark brown doe eyes,brown straight hair and the same pale white skin. She looked a bit older than me as if she was in her early late twenties and very pregnant maybe six to seven months pregnant. Her belly was ready to pop.
"Come in and close the door behind you."she said and we followed her to a small neat sitting room "Take a seat."
I sat down on a couch next to Benjamin,his sister looked a bit
angry and I think I understood why. She immediately glared at Benjamin,"What the hell where you thinking Benjamin!Leaving for almost two weeks without a word and what did you need saving from?"
I could see Benjamin swallowing hard in fear "we needed food and I had to help!"
"Help! Help how Benjamin...you are just fourteen!"she spat out angrily.
"Yes I am fourteen but that doesn't matter. It doesn't mean I should sit around and do nothing. We have no food and you are pregnant."he said softly avoiding her gaze.
"So what did you go do?Where did you go?"Lily Sophie May asked taking in a deep breath trying to calm herself.
I looked at Benjamin again,this wasn't going to be good at all. Benjamin looked as if he would just sink into the couch "uhmm so I might have gone to the castle to steal from the king's gardens.Then I might have gotten caught and they tied me up to a tree...but I did get saved by Lucy and she..."before he could say anything else somehow Lily was off her seat and began smacking her brother all over his face.
"You what!"she screamed and smacked his back ,"Are your crazy!What if they killed you!You stupid ,stupid boy"the situation quickly escalated from smacking Benjamin to showering him with kisses and hugs. I was too shocked to do anything.
"It's okay I am fine Lily."he said hugging her back. He began trying to get out of her embrace but Lily was literally crushing him. "Lily,you are suffocating me."
"Let go of your brother Lily,I think he gets it now."a voice suddenly said from behind me.We all looked at him,I was guessing the hot man behind me was their uncle.
He had a ragged sexy kind of look,like a real Hunter. He had brown curly hair,grey smokey eyes,tanned skin and the perfect height about six foot tall. He was a bit on the lean side but with a bit of muscle although I was guessing he was in his mid thirties or something further down that line.
"Can you believe this boy uncle Mason!He literally went on a suicide mission,I swear he is trying to kill me with a high blood pressure!"Lily exclaimed smacking the back of Benjamin's head.
Benjamin whined "ouch!"
Mason folded his arms and looked sternly at Benjamin,"that was very stupid and idiotic of you Benjamin"he stated in a deep British accent.
"I Know," Benjamin said sadly looking down. I wanted to save him from all this but I knew this was family business and I had to stay out of it.
"I am not done yet, it was foolish of you to go trying to play heroe all by yourself. You could have died out there!Your parents died trying to play heroe but they never wanted the same fate for either one of you. They left me in charge and I am trying to protect you!Please do not make that hard for me,"he said standing in front of Benjamin holding his shoulders and looking right in his eyes "I am proud of you for trying to get us food,for thinking of your family first but don't ever do that again,do you understand me?"
Benjamin nodded his head silently.
''i said do you understand me Benjamin Thomas Chelviric!" Mason repeated again loudly.He was very intimidating.
"Yes sir,I understand and I am sorry."
Mason suddenly hugged Benjamin and kissed the crown of his head "you scared the shit out of me my boy,"he let go of Benjamin and directed his gaze at me "Now who is this?"
