Chapter 139
"Cousin George, why don't you stay for the night until our next meeting when the challenge takes place with your so called people and my people all there to witness the great moment" Alexander said with a weird tone I have never heard him use before. It is as If he was talking to a kid. Making sure not to anger him or make him upset.
George suddenly relaxed "Fine I will stay until the challenge"
Alexander nodded to his guards, a sign for them to walk out with him. Once George and his guards were out Alex shook his head a little. Vladimir scoffed.
"well that was entertaining. I still do not believe he is your cousin my Lord" he said with a frown
Alexander folded his arms "well if it makes him happy let it be. That was just an example of what I am dealing with. Clowns wanting to claim my birth right and tomorrow I will make an example of him in front of everyone. His little group of friends and my people. Tomorrow you will all learn what happens to those that go against me."
"My King why don't we just get rid of all that go against you. Whoever speaks against you must be killed, it is treason to even think of defying you" Keran spoke out with a serious tone
Vladimir looked at the King "I have to agree with her, this is treason. These low rank wolves shouldn't even think or dream of going against you. They should fear you, fear such thoughts"
"Fear creates hate and hate creates enemies. If I was to entertain such Ideas I wouldn't even be King. I would be an enemy to my own kind and that is not my goal. I am a leader not the devil" Alexander said calmly. He knew what he wanted and by the look on his face I could tell that he had a plan.
He was an organized man, that is why he wasn't afraid of the current situation he was in. I couldn't help but feel pride sitting next to such a powerful being. Powerful in both mind and body.
"My Lord so what do we do now? I am sure you are well aware of the fact that George is not the only threat you should be worrying about" an older man stated, his green cat eyes twinkling as he searched Alexander's eyes for an answer.
I admired how everyone in this room just spoke their mind without hesitation. They had respect for their King but they were not afraid to talk. Alexander didn't waver he just kept a straight face before replying this man.
"I will deal with that when the time is right, for now let them play. I want you to make sure the humans are guarded with extra security Mars. I know for a fact the rebel wolves who are against me will try something to prove that they can harm my mate at any time. I expect them to pull such a stunt any time soon." he sighed lowly rubbing his chin. He was annoyed and he looked a bit tired from all of this.
The older Green eyed man I now knew as Mars nodded. "consider it done my Lord"
"And keran do what you do best blend, find out how many groups are against me and pluck out their roots. Don't let punish them, come to me and I will deal with them in my own time." he instructed her
She smiled as if she knew and she liked whatever he was going to do to these rebels. I swallowed hard, I had to swallow my jealousy because I knew I was being silly. Plus these hormones were making me irrational.
"yes my King. That won't be a problem at all." she replied in a soft voice.
Alexander didn't seem to care about the way she was talking or anything. I was glad he didn't seem to feel for her in the way I thought he would. Maybe I was a bit jealous because she was a red head and the last red head Alexander had a thing with went bat shit crazy and decided to cause a whole war.
"Vladimir... you will come to my office later" he said and Vladimir nodded.
Well that was suspicious, what did he have to talk about with Vladimir. I did not trust Vladimir but Alexander seemed to trust him a lot. They had this weird bond between them. I just watched them closely.
Lewis on the other hand seemed distracted. I wanted to roll my eyes as I remembered the situation between him and my friend plus how he almost spilled out my secret. Alexander seemed to notice how distracted his beta was.
"Lewis maybe you would like to share with the council what has your mind so occupied." Alexander said out loud making Lewis fidgety in his seat.
He widened his eyes as he looked at everyone, he was being so visibly weird "No, sorry my Lord"
Alexander eyed him for a minute "you will also come to my office with Vladimir"
"yes my Lord"
I raised my Eyebrow at the betas suspicious behavior before my bladder suddenly decided to bother me. I needed to pee so badly I stood up immediately without even thinking. Everyone's eyes snapped in my direction and I blushed.
Alexander touched my back and nodded. It's as if he could read my mind "you can go I will see you just now"
I walked out so fast avoiding everyone's gaze. I could hear two large footsteps following me but I didn't look back I knew it was two guards. I went into the nearest toilet.
After peeing I felt so much better, I sighed in relief as I wore my underwear.
As I washing my hands an old lady walked out and stood behind me. She had silver Grey hair which had so much volume it looked thick and healthy. Her eyes were crystal blue and she smiled at me.
"it is nice to finally meet my sons mate" she said in a smooth soft voice.
My heart beat suddenly increased as I held on to the sink tightly. What the fu.*
