Chapter 119
It had to be a dream, I couldn't have had sex with "him". That was impossible but then why did I feel so naked and exposed. I could just open my eyes and see everything for myself but I was so scared , deep inside I knew that last night did happen but I didn't know how I felt about it or how he felt about it . The worst part was I was afraid he would hurt me by saying something stupid and hurtful.
"What's going on in that little head of yours now" I heard his voice say right next to my ear.
He sounded calm, that was good-there's no need to panic Lu. I tried to calm myself. I had become one brave girl over these past months but now I felt like a child caught up in a dangerous war. What had I gotten myself into!
"nothing" I said quickly realizing I had taken a bit too long to answer him.
It didn't even take him much effort to just roll me so I was facing him but I kept my eyes closed.
"Look at me" he said
I slowly opened my eyes, hopefully I didn't look terrible this morning because he looked amazing I couldn't help feel insecure about how I probably looked. One thing I knew for sure was that my hair probably looked like a birds nest, it always did in the morning.
"hi" I whispered. That's all I could say right at that moment. He smiled, he actually smiled! I widened my eyes, this was too good, my heart was beating so fast.
He twirled my hair "That's all you are going to say now, last night you had so much to say-well more of like screaming and moaning" he chuckled
My face must have turned tomato red at this point. I couldn't help but give him a punch on his chest, this was beyond embarrassing honestly. "shut up!" I said hiding my face in my hands
He laughed and I couldn't help staring at him. He was... different but in a good way. This was a side to him that I was betting nobody knew about. My great moment was ruined by a stupid knock on the door I almost rolled my eyes in annoyance.
He grinned "That is not good news" he said kissing my forehead before getting out of bed. My eyes followed his every step, he wore his black silk robe before opening the door.
There was a males voice behind that door, I sat up straight so I could listen to what they were talking about. I caught on a few words and let's just say Alexander was right...it wasn't good news at all.
"banshees... they have crossed the South border. 15 of our men... Dead" these are the words I heard and they got me up as fast as possible. I wore my robe and rushed to the door without thinking.
Alex let out a low growl but I heard it and so did the man standing by his door. He grabbed my waist and held me by his side as If someone would snatch me or something. I tried ignoring him, I wanted to know what was happening.
"what do you mean the banshees have crossed the South border, I thought that was impossible." I said, nobody has ever crossed their borders before. Nobody had the guts to do such a thing but then again I shouldn't be surprised... this situation was different.
The man didn't look at me, he kept his eyes on his Alpha as he spoke,"we are still searching for them, 15bodies of our men were found... ripped apart near the borders."
"This is bad, we have to do something about this!" I said holding my head. What were we supposed to do now, these creatures were literally everywhere now.
"call on everyone in the meeting hall, I will be there just now" Alexander said and the man nodded before walking away.
He closed the door behind us and walked to the shower. I followed him, we needed a plan. We needed to do something about this. "We need to kill them before everything got out of hand. Burn them or something Alex" I said watching him as he removed his robe leaving him totally naked.
"if you haven't noticed mate, everything is already out of hand and burning them is nolonger an option. They are literally everywhere now" he said calmly as he entered the shower.
I sighed as I looked at him "how can you be so calm? We are all about to die now, well my race is about to be extinct." since he is immortal or whatever maybe he would actually survive this without getting harmed.
"come" he said turning on the shower.
I raised my eyebrows before moving towards him. I got into the shower and sighed as the warm water hit my back. "you won't die, I won't let anything harm you so you can relax"
"what's your plan?" I asked as he washed my shoulders and my back.
"my plan is to get rid of them and everyone that's behind their existence. It's not going to be easy but then again no war is ever easy" he said.
I sighed as I leaned on his shoulder while he washed my stomach. His touch was very distracting I couldn't think straight anymore, it's as if every problem just vanished. "I just want my friends to be safe and the twins. We already have your kind to worry about."
He gripped my waist a little too tight after my statement. I guess he was offended but it was the truth and this was our reality. "you are mine," he growled "you are safe with... me" he said and his chest started vibrating.
I moaned lowly as he bit into my mark. I tried not moan too loudly after his little joke this morning but when his hand reached down and rubbed my clit I just lost it. The pleasure was intense, my stomach felt so warm and I just wanted to release. It didn't take long for me to reach my orgasm but he didn't just end there as he carried me. He took me right there against the wall in the shower.
