"her condition?" Marcia and I asked at the same time. What did he mean her condition?
Lucy widened her eyes for a second, which only made the situation even more weird. Then she quickly responded before Lewis could even say a word.
"Yeah... Well uhm I am not going to join the training club. It's not my thing besides my leg is still very sore and the doctor said I shouldn't be doing anything that will strain my muscles" she said with an awkward smile.
I looked at Marcia and she looked at me with a 'why is Lucy being weird?' look. Honestly I decided not to think into it too much because my mate was right beside me and that was making me damn nervous. Besides, Lucy was right about taking a break from things like fighting especially after she lost so much blood.
I smiled at her "You are right Lu, I will stay here with Marcia for a bit. It's been a while since I have done some training anyways."
She nodded her head "right, have fun! I will go visit the school or something."
"See you soon and stay out of trouble please!" Marcia called out as Lucy raced out of the room. Everyone looked in our direction, Marcia had a thing for attracting people's attention which was quite annoying sometimes.
I looked at Lucy's figure as it disappeared out the door. My best friend was definitely up to no good, she was being shady all of a sudden and I had a feeling Lewis Knew why she was behaving strange.
I looked at Lewis, he was staring at me. It's as if he was wondering about something. Marcia cleared her throat and I quickly looked anywhere else but at him. I didn't even realize we were staring at each other. Well this was awkward, why was he even still standing here with us.
"so... We are just going to go now," Marcia said holding my arm before dragging me to the middle of the room were all the action was taking place "you can thank me now" she said with a pout.
I grinned at her "Thank you Marcy"
"everybody it's time to pair up now! For everyone that's new here today, I welcome you all. Each one of you choose a partner, we are going to practice some basic fighting skills in the first 15minutes then we go beyond that in the following 15minutes!" A very mascular handsome blond man said with a welcoming face.
Marcia smiled as she grabbed my arm once again. "you will be my partner, isn't he cute though?" she said in excitement
I shook my head at her, she was such a clown sometimes "As if I have a choice" I murmered with a smile. She didn't hear me though because she was too busy squealing.
"oh come on you have to admit he is cute Amarrr, I mean look at those green eyes and he is not even a werewolf" she said dreamily
"I guess so, come on let's go" I said dragging her to an open space so that we could start with our basic training.
Marcia and I weren't too bad when it came to fighting. We were bad ass and that is because we have been living in the wild side of the world for the longest time. The blond headed trainer even noticed how good we were, he walked towards us nodding in approval.
"good, very good. Try throwing a punch without putting too much pressure when closing your fist. Relax a little bit, it will hurt less and you will get less cramps" he told me with a smile at the end of his statement.
I nodded my head and relaxed my hands a little bit. It was true I did tend to get a little tense when it came to fighting. My muscles would just go tense and that is why I really did get random cramps.
He looked at Marcia "Try taking a millisecond to just study your opponents moves before throwing in a punch. Too much excitement can get you killed, just relax, study then move." he said sternly.
Marcia nodded and her cheeks suddenly went red. She was suddenly all nervous and blushing. I wanted to roll my eyes and face palm. She was already falling for the guy. It's funny how everyone thought Marcia was a badass, tough girl when in actual reality she was just a pretty soft butterfly.
The man passed and went to give his attention to another pair. I looked at Marcia "you cannot be seriously into him that deep already"
She suddenly frowned at me as she tripped me using her foot. I wasn't expecting that so I fell hard right on my ass "I am not into anyone besides why am I not allowed to fall in love too?" she asked folding her arms looking down at me.
I groaned as I got back up "nobody... said you are not... allowed to fall... In love," I said throwing punches at her until I succeeded to punch her in the stomach and she stumbled back.
"then why are you making fun of me liking Ben?" she asked rolling her eyes as she walked towards me with her fists in the air ready to fight
I laughed as I dodged her attacks "you already know his name. Wow this must... be love at first sight!"
She succeeded to kick my leg and I fell again because I was too busy laughing my ass off. I wonder how she even got his name!
"You are partnering up with me. Play time is over" a familiar male voice said in a serious tone. Marcia and I both looked up. It was the beta, he was still here stalking me.
I wanted to punch his pretty face so hard that he would never dare to set his feet near me again but obviously that wasn't happening like - ever. "you can't do that I already have a partner" I told him
"she will be training with my assistant trainer Ben, it seems like all you two are doing is small talk. Are you afraid of some serious training Amara" he mocked me.
"of course not, let's get to it then."I glared at him. He was going to regret saying that in my face...
