Chapter 71
I sat on the bed frozen in my state,I had just given the Alpha King a bath and it was the most weird thing ever although he didn't seem to care about the awkwardness. Right now he was in his walk-in closet ,deeply I wish he could just stay in there and never come out so I wouldn't have to face him. That was just another beggars wish because he did walk out in his black trousers and a grey sweater that hugged all his muscles perfectly.
I looked down still embarrassed about giving a fully grown ass man a bath. I felt him walk towards the edge of the bed were I was sitting. "What is it?" he asked standing right in front of me.
"Nothing" I answered him quickly-maybe too quick it was almost suspicious.
"hmmm okay then, stand up you still have a lot things to do for me remember..." he said taking a step back and I slowly raised my eyes to take a quick look at him.
Another favor ,I was tired of that shit seriously.I could only wonder what in the world he wanted me to do this time around. I stood up slowly and looked at him waiting for his next words, I don't think I would ever get used to his. He smirked "Go into the closet and change into the clothing I have set out for you. You will be escorting me somewhere tonight."
My heart started racing, I couldn't leave I had to inform Mason about the little information I had. This was not good at all, I had to do something quick . "I can't do that..."
He raised his eyebrows at me and I could almost hear a bomb dropping right on top of me. Where in the world was I getting these guts? I breathed in deep "I mean I am not feeling really good...I have extreme cramps. I am on my period and I don't think its a good idea for me to escort the king in this state. "
The Alpha King narrowed his eyes at me as he folded his arms. "You really are an idiot, I am a lycan-first of my kind and you still stand there lying to my face. I have lived with your kind for centuries ,you think I wouldn't know if you were going on your period child," He grabbed my arm "So now the question here is why do you keeping fucking yourself up with stupid lies.Even my dogs wouldn't believe you.Is it a mundane thing to lie about everything,"
I swallowed hard, of course this was a dumb lie ...use a lie twice and it will blow up in your face the second time. "I just don't feel really good I swear to you" I said trying to sound as sad as I possibly could,I had to look really pathetic in this situation.
"Should I care about how you are feeling human...if you are not dressed up in the next five minutes I will make sure you really wont be feeling well for the rest of your life"he threatened me while releasing my arm and he walked out.
Damn it!I let my body fall back onto the bed before standing up again. I had to think of something,I walked into his closet and there was a really beautiful red silk dress placed on a stool. It looked beautiful and flawless which made me curious as to what the occasion was or why I was the one escorting him in a beautiful dress.I mean I was just a servant after all.I took the dress and wore it quickly. I didn't have time to stare at it for long, it fit perfectly bringing out all my curves,the dress literally hugged all my curves especially my big butt.
For the first time ever I felt so clean and actually really hot. I have never been in a dress like this,ever.I looked at myself in the mirror ,the dress had a vent that exposed my right leg and a little bit of my thigh.The sleeves were lace with rose patterns decorating them. I sighed brushing my long black hair,I would leave it loose ,I always felt prettier that way-I was glad when it actually became wavy after brushing it for a whole minute.I had to look a little bit good even though I obviously wouldn't look half as good as the female werewolves.
I looked at the red high heels ,they were really pretty but I had one problem-I have never worn them in my life.How the hell was I going to walk in those!I breathed in before strapping them on my feet,I had a minute left before the king blows a fuse. I stood up and walked really extra slow,watching my every step. It was already dark outside ,the room was getting a bit cold. I opened the door and almost sighed in relief when I saw the king talking to three men,I didn't even know why I was relieved-it was as if my whole body and soul had a mind of its own. There was a weird comfort in just seeing him and knowing that he was there, I felt so betrayed by my emotions.
He sensed my presence the minute I walked out and his eyes snapped in my direction. I felt so exposed, I started rubbing my arms a little.His silver eyes roamed all over my body until they made a stop on my exposed thigh and there was a darkness in his eyes. The transparent silver grey eyes turned to charcoal black,the colors swirled together into a mesmerizing beautiful charcoal color then there was darkness-they turned obsidian .A black so dark it had you feeling as if you were falling into an endless dark pit called hell.There was nothing good about those demon eyes, I moved a step back and he just smiled.
He smiled and my stomach burned because there was nothing flattering about that smile. it was a smile that the devil would give his victim before burning him alive. "Come," he said with his hands behind his back .His posture screamed gentlemen but I knew better.
My heart was racing so fast I felt as If it would betray me by jumping out. The men he was with had suddenly disappeared,even they had left me to my doom.I swallowed hard and took a tiny step forward on my shaky legs.I took another tiny step forward and another tiny step forward,what was the rush right...that was until he growled and my legs gave out.I definitely fell face down onto the floor and I was going to stay down until the ground swallowed me and my embarrassment .
