Chapter 110
"kidnap Vladimir!" Trevor, Persius and I said at the very same time with shock showing on our faces.
Personally I thought she had lost her mind or something.I looked at a her with a serious face "You are crazy if you think that's a good idea!"
"You cannot be serious" Trevor said folding his arms.
Amara rolled her eyes "Just give me a chance to explain first before you brush me off like this"
Marcia shook her head "it's a suicide mission and I really don't think theres anything you can say that would make me change my mind"
"Oh please Marcia just stop right there, it's not like you have ever come up with a better idea!" Amara snapped. I knew this was not going to end well at all. A voice in my head just went "oh,Oh"
"Not having an idea is better than coming up with something that will obviously get us all killed!" Marcia whisper yelled at her.
I sighed "Guys arguing won't get us anywhere honestly, so just stop. Amara tell us your full idea" They both kept quiet and Marcia looked at me a bit annoyed "just listen it won't really hurt you" I told her
"fine... Whatever" She said folding her arms
Amara nodded her head "okay so listen now, guys we kidnap him and we hide him somewhere. This will cause a lot of chaos. Chaos means a big distraction, obviously these animals will be too distracted in trying to find the beta they wont even pay attention to us humans. This will give us time to grab the kids and go."
"How is that is that going to help us with the banshee problem. Right now we are safe because we are here but if we take the kids and leave we will be in a bigger problem than this one" Marcia said and she was actually right on this.
I nodded my head "Yeah Amara we cant just leave, we are not safe out there and right now we are better off here"
"We can go into hiding or something guys. We cannot honestly stay here! Already we have gotten into trouble, that Vladimir guy is on your case Lu and the beta! He is truly trying to kill you!" Amara whisper yelled with wide eyes. She was really panicking a lot and I kind of knew why. The main issue here was that the beta was also her mate and she was not comfortable with that.
Trevor frowned "Amara the best thing is to be patient,we need to make careful decisions and right now our best hope is to figure out how we can work together with them so we can be protected from the banshees. Remember the King also has humans here under his protection...Lucy told us this for a fact"
I nodded my head "Yeah kids and a few grown ups, they all seem happy and safe. I am sure we can just stay a bit longer until we figure out the banshee problem,"
Before Amara could respond a guard entered the room and we all looked at him . "The King would like to see you all so follow me" he said with a straight face. We didn't argue as we followed him immediately.
We arrived in the Kings office, as usual he had the red head Karen and of course Vladimir sitting by his side. I had the urge to just roll my eyes at Vladimir and spit in his face, however I just ignored his stupid smirk as we walked in. I could feel the Kings stare and hoped he wouldn't ask questions about my scars or the limp in my step. I really didn't have an excuse for this yet but I would come up with something soon.
"We traced the banshees and we found their hiding spot." The King said without wasting any time.
I caught the smile on Marcia's face, this was a good thing indeed. "Great!" I said in response but he cut me off
"Unfortunately they are quite a lot, saying a lot is actually an understatement. Their numbers make their territory look like a bee hive." he stated with a straight face, he seemed annoyed by this and I understood why. This was the worst news ever and trust me I have heard a lot of bad news, this was beyond us.
"Where...where did they even come from?" Amara asked in horror
"We are still trying to figure that out ourselves, we will be inviting the witch here tonight. Hopefully she knows more about these creatures. Personally I suspect one of your enemies has something to do with this Alexander" Karen said with a calm voice, she did not sound afraid ,irritated or shocked by all of this.
Vladimir nodded his head in agreement "I for a fact know that our enemies are behind this, they know they cannot start a war without some help so they somehow brought these beings into the picture."
"So how do we defeat them? Do you have a plan?" I asked impatiently. Honestly I had no interest knowing about the Kings enemies and what not because he had a lot of enemies including us. I only wanted to know how to get rid of them fast so we can leave this place already.
"The idea was to burn them all, they live in a black hole...its like a cave sort of. However this will need a lot of careful planning otherwise we could put ourselves at risk" Karen replied me
I chewed the inside of my right cheek "yes but how do we even know that is their only habitat plus its not like they will all be in there when we do burn the place down"
The King raised an eyebrow at me and my heart involuntarily skipped a bit-I hated when that happened. "Patience mate...you don't win a great war in seconds. So far we have enough information to start planning."
Trevor cleared his throat "If we work with the witch I am sure she must have some sort of magic that can slow these banshees down"
"She is here, we can find that out from her" The King said getting up from his seat.
