“Jennie, how about this?” Jacqueline asked, putting a dress which was still on a hanger as she had just pulled it out of the wardrobe, on her body for her to check if it fits or not.

Jennie nodded slowly with pouted lips and Jacqueline sighed in frustration. 

She had been there for minutes and she had called Jennie to come to her room to help her pick the right dress. 

The first dress Jacqueline picked asking Jennie if it was okay, Jennie had nodded her head happily telling her the dress was stunning. 

But Jacqueline didn't like the dress as she picked another, asking Jennie if it was okay. Jennie would tell her that it was. That the dress was beautiful and that it suits her well but Jacqueline wouldn't like it and that went on for minutes until Jennie started saying no to every dress she showed her. It made Jacqueline frustrated.  

She really wanted to look nice that day, walk through the streets and make heads turn and finding the perfect dress for that was proving to be difficult. 

Alessandro had proposed a date the previous day, he wanted them to spend some time together alone and Jacqueline had been all over the moon since the previous night as she couldn't get her mind off it, wanting to think about the last time they had a date when she was still living with him. 

She couldn't wait to slide a dress on and dash out of the house. But not without appearing elegant like a queen. 

She was a Mafia princess anyways and she started getting used to it. Acting like one already. 

“Jennie, what about this?” Jacqueline asked, her voice getting tired from searching for the right dress. 

Every dress in her wardrobe was breathtaking as Cecilia made sure she goes shopping and carefully selects some clothes for herself. 

Jennie stood up, walking to Jacqueline as her once sad and frustrated face had been lit up with a smile which was infectious as it made Jacqueline also smile without knowing what the new and exciting thing was. 

“I love this, when did you get this without getting one for me too??” She asked Jacqueline who gave her a glare instead. 

“I got it yesterday, when I told you to go with me but you didn't,” Jacqueline said, checking herself out in the mirror with the dress on her body as she swayed her hips to the right and to the left slowly. 

“Wear this and he would have no choice but want to claim you right at the moment” Jennie said, her voice making the words she uttered like they were very important and needed to be seriously tended to. 

“I also think I will go with this, Jennie,” Jacqueline said, a wide smile dancing on her lips. 

She was finally able to get the right dress and all she wanted to do at the moment was get to Alessandro and explore wherever it is he would be willing to take her.

Alessandro waited in the car as he saw Jacqueline approach. Her appearance melted all his thoughts away except from that of him and her. Their memories lingered as all of their happy moments came rushing to him. 

“Get in” he said to Jacqueline as he had stopped drooling over her and she obeyed without complaint. 

It took just minutes for the car to pull up at a park and Jacqueline had a smile on which Alessandro noticed at first glance as he also smiled back. 

They locked hands together as they walked together savoring the moment as Jacqueline watched everything she could lay her eyes on. 

The breeze blew and it was like their brains were juggling and they were thinking about the same thing. 

How life had been treating them before they met each other and how everything had turned out to be after they met. 

Jacqueline! Having to work at a bar club and ending up getting entangled with Alessandro, she hated it at first but she was glad she didn't leave. She was glad she was there for him when he needed it and it was the same for her too. 

“Thinking?” Alessandro asked, getting Jacqueline out of her trance. 

“Yes, about us" Jacqueline replied with a smile and Alessandro also smiled. 

“I guess it's the same for me,” Alessandro said and smiled afterwards. 

Jacqueline also gave a light chuckle, she couldn't seem to stop thinking about how their life had been, how she had to snitch on Alessandro and how weak she was that she couldn't have opened up to him.   

She was scared of everything at the moment and there was nothing she felt she could do. But it was different now. 

Meeting her parents, everything seems to change, she felt like you became powerful overnight, she felt like she was confident and could do everything by herself, she was glad she met them and she was glad everything turned out well for her and Alessandro. 

Soon enough, she was forced to be brought back out of her reverie as there was a dead end at her front, and everyone around seemed to have disappeared. She thought she had been lost in thought for a long time and had lost her way and maybe Alessandro also was. 

Suddenly, everywhere went dark, but it wasn't long before dim lights started showing, flowers started appearing, she felt strange and wondered about what the hell was happening.

Just then, bright stage lights appeared on them and suddenly, like some tricks were performed or some strings were pulled. 

Alessandro was on his knees, with a ring in front of her and as she looked around the dim light area, there were people, all she recognized. 

Her parents, Jennie, Granny Penelope, Ariel, Romano and some other people she could recognize even in the dark. 

They all had it planned, she knew it but it was strange that she wasn't able to notice anything even with Jennie who she was with right before she headed here. 

“Jacqueline Savaldore, will you marry me?” Alessandro asked. 

Jacqueline knew she wasn't going to think about it, she knew what her answers would be and she wasn't going to look back but go for it. 

“Yes, I will, Alessandro Vladimir” Jacqueline replied with a smile as she received the ring. 

She watched as everyone around cheered for them as that left another smile on Jacqueline's face. 

Alessandro stood up, moving closer to her. He grabbed her waist as he pulled her closer to himself. 

“You will forever be my possession, Jacqueline” Alessandro said and Jacqueline chuckled with Alessandro placing his lips on hers immediately. 

Jacqueline's life flashed back before her eyes during the kiss and she knew that her life had gotten better and with the days that were to come, they will surely get much better.
