Chapter 119 Want Your Spirit to Be Unbeatable?

"I was wrong, I'm not sick!" John dropped to the ground, feeling the calm around him as a chill swept over.

He had to spill everything about the Spirit Control Bureau to Zane.

"You've even arrested criminals?" Zane looked skeptical. "Then they must have been the accomplices you ratted out."

John was momentarily speechless. "You got it wrong. I don't even look like a criminal."

Eventually, Zane believed him, but John still had to stay in the pit for half an hour as punishment.

"Finally back." John sighed as he returned to the dorm, appreciating life more.

Uriah asked, "John, why are you covered in dirt?"

John replied, "Just getting close to nature!"

As he took off his clothes to shower, he said, "I was in danger, and you guys didn't even warn me."

"We were too scared. That snake was terrifying. It was gnashing its teeth the whole time before you came back."

No wonder they looked so freaked out when John returned.

The next morning, John showed up at Beast Manor.

He missed the old days in Beast Taming Class 5, where things were more relaxed.

"You really went too far!" John glared at Zane, vowing to deal with the Black-and-White Python someday.

"John, come up and supervise!"

"Coming!" John put on a smile and went up to the stage.

Zane said seriously, "Today's task is to practice skills. Just because it's not on the exam doesn't mean it's not important. These skills can boost your strength."

"Okay," the students responded weakly.

Practicing skills was boring.

Zane frowned and said, "The real reason John can beat you is that he knows how to use skills. If you practice hard, you can beat him!"

The class got excited and energized.

John twitched his mouth, muttering under his breath, 'Damn it, do you guys really have to be so crazy? And Uriah, why are you so motivated?!'

Zane's words fired up the classmates. Their dream might have been to get into college and become legendary Beast Tamers, but now they just wanted to beat up John.

"In that case, I'll make you work even harder." John smiled, hands behind his back, pointing at the other students.

"Xavier! Do you know how to use 'Earth Spike' and 'Ground Wave'? Your Earth Dragon is so weak under your command.

"Karl, just give up on your pitiful Wind Beast; don't stuck to your guns any longer!

"Brady, is your Desert Crocodile using 'Tail Whip'? I thought it was sweeping the floor."

John had a mischievous smile, mercilessly criticizing the others. "Want to surpass me? Good luck with that."

Everyone in Beast Manor worked even harder, practicing their skills diligently.

John also summoned his Slime, practicing skills to improve its obedience. The higher the obedience, the better.

Time flew by.

During the day, John mocked his classmates and practiced skills. At night, he handled various tasks for the Black Market shop.

On weekend nights, John didn't go home but went to the Black Market shop with Tom and others.

"Today we celebrate that Miracle Pharmaceuticals has gone bankrupt!" John smiled. He got the news from Owen yesterday.

Before other companies could react to the news, John opened the shop.

"Also, today is our grand opening!" John said excitedly.

Tom and the others clapped, but it felt a bit lackluster.

Tom suddenly said, "John, I think there's a problem."

"What problem?"

"Well, as a pharmacy, shouldn't we have potions to sell?"

They stood in an empty shop with just a shelf, a table, and a few chairs.

"Don't worry," John said calmly, "Wait for me!"

Then, John rushed to the public restroom of the Black Market.

The six of them exchanged confused looks, unsure of what to say.

After a while, Tom said, "John's probably just using the restroom, not getting potions."

"Maybe," they replied, still doubtful.

John arrived at a familiar stall in the restroom, remembering when he first made potions there, someone had filmed it and posted it online.

Months later, the legend of the restroom pharmacist still circulated in the City of Wisdom.

John set up his materials, with four Power Flowers as the main ingredient. He was broke after buying these herbs.

Yesterday, he lost his wallet; it was returned by the police then, who said his Stellar Coins must be lost.

John was embarrassed and didn't explain the Coins weren't actually lost—they had run out.

"Everything depends on you guys!" John said, entering potion-making mode.

Making high-grade Power Potions was tough. After an hour, he successfully made ten bottles.

John excitedly carried the ten yellow potions back to the shop.

Tom and the others instinctively jumped back, eyes wide with fear. "John, this seems a bit off."

"Why? I have all the permits. We should be selling potions now."

"Are you sure that's a potion and not urine?"

Their suspicion was understandable since John came from the restroom.

"Nonsense! It's pure high-grade Power Potion!"

John placed the ten bottles on the shelf. The shop looked empty, but that was its charm!

"We'll only sell ten bottles of high-grade Power Potion each day!" He set the price at 28,888 Stellar Coins per bottle, slightly lower than the market price of 30,000 to attract customers.

Selling just ten bottles a day wouldn't disrupt the market.

The cost of making a high-grade Power Potion was around 150,000 Stellar Coins, with a gross profit of nearly 300,000 Stellar Coins, netting over 100,000 Stellar Coins daily.

John only needed to make potions once a day, earning over 3 million Stellar Coins a month, equivalent to a lord-level beast.

"Alright! Go out and advertise! Follow the script!" John handed them a piece of paper with promotional lines.

"John, do we really have to shout?"

"Of course, shout it out!"

Tom and the others went outside, each holding a megaphone, and started advertising.

"Want your spirit to be unbeatable? Use our Power Potion!"

"Your spirits must be thinking, 'I want to go to the Alternate Dimension to fight beasts. My master should give me my favorite Power Potion. I want to be the strongest contract spirit, please give me my favorite Power Potion!"
