Chapter 80 The Punishment Had Been Accepted
The collision provided the power, the Violent Sitting Kill provided the ability to hover, and the Wind Rest controlled the direction.
The skills of contract spirits weren't fixed like in games. They couldn't lock onto a target, but if they were used flexibly in combination, new ways of combat would inevitably be developed.
The same level of contract spirits in the hands of different Beast Tamers would produce vastly different effects.
The flying pigwasn't fast, to begin with, and the high-speed flying Slime was like a missile.
The flying pig let out a miserable scream, feeling as if its body was about to be shattered, and it hit the wall of the Beast Manor.
"Awesome, John!"
David didn't expect the situation to reverse so suddenly.
The Slime, still relentless, used the momentum of its charge to reach the fallen flying pig.
The giant round ball kept rolling, crushing the flying pig with all its might.
The miserable screams echoed through the Beast Manor; the cries were too tragic!
"How dare you hurt my contract spirit?"
Mason snapped back to reality and recalled the dying flying pig back into the Beast Taming space.
His fists clenched, and his face turned ashen. He was already upset about failing the exam.
Now that the flying pig was so severely injured, it would likely remain weak for months if left to heal on its own. This was fatal for a student about to enter their senior year of high school.
He would have to spend a large amount of Stellar Coin to get high-level treatment at a Beast Taming hospital.
The Slime returned to John's side, and they were at a standoff.
Suddenly, John smiled gently. "By the way, have you had dinner?"
Mason had been filled with an indescribable rage, but he was stunned when he heard that.
John suddenly charged forward, saying, "If you haven't eaten, then accept my punishment."
Mason shouted, "Stop!"
"You're going too far!"
The four bodyguards were furious when they saw that and started to act.
But the golden Slime rolled over, instantly severely injuring all four of them. Ordinary people could not fight contract spirits. It was a death wish.
John slapped Mason hard, sending him flying.
He wanted the system reward, but he still had to punish Mason.
"Let me teach him a lesson, too!"
David also ran over and slapped Mason hard.
Mason had initially attacked David and gotten the bodyguards to punch him several times, which had made his back hurt. David certainly wouldn't miss this opportunity.
After a good beating, David felt much better.
David let out a long breath, feeling the pain in his body dissipate.
David said, "Don't be so arrogant and attack others randomly in the future."
They left some harsh words, clapped their hands, and left the Beast Manor.
As they opened the door, a man in a black T-shirt appeared outside.
David's pupils shrank, but he remained calm on the surface.
John also noticed but showed no panic. He even smiled and nodded at Benjamin Callahan.
They calmly brushed past him.
John shouted, 'Run!'
Then, they started sprinting.
"Did you notice?"
David looked at John, running with all his might.
"No kidding! He looks a lot like Mason!"
John cursed under his breath. He hadn't expected Mason's family to arrive so quickly.
After running for a while, they couldn't help but complain about how big the Beast Manor was. They felt it was a waste of the education department's resources!
They grumbled. They had never feelt that the road beneath their feet was so long before.
"Stop!"
At this moment, a cold voice rang out.
Benjamin's face was cold. There was a flash of anger in his eyes.
When he stepped into the Beast Manor's competition area, he had immediately seen the fallen Mason and naturally understood who the real culprits were.
John replied, "Only an idiot would stop!"
John and the others kept running, completely ignoring Benjamin.
At this moment, a long gray trunk suddenly swept over incredibly quickly.
"He really is a Black Iron-level Beast Tamer!"
John wasn't afraid of someone with influence; he was afraid of a powerful Beast Tamer.
When he realized that he couldn't dodge the long nose, he quickly took out his phone and dialed Mia's number.
Mia asked, "Hello! John, where are you guys now?"
The call abruptly ended, leaving Mia puzzled in the canteen. Mia thought to herself, 'Was there someone speaking on the other end of the phone?'
At this moment, John felt the world spinning, and his phone fell to the ground.
The long trunk wrapped around them, causing their insides to churn, and finally slammed them to the ground.
"You two bastards!"
Benjamin ordered the giant elephant to roll them back to the Beast Taming competition area where Mason was.
This was the Beast Manor, where the use of contract spirits was not restricted. As long as no one was killed or maimed, it was generally fine.
"Hope Mia can find us, or we'll really be in trouble today!"
John sighed. He hadn't expected to be so unlucky.
"Mason, are you okay?"
Benjamin looked at Mason on the ground.
"Benjamin, I'm fine. I want to kill those two!"
Mason coughed a few times and slowly got up. Although his face was swollen, his eyes were full of hatred.
Fortunately, he had asked Benjamin to pick him up after the exam, so he happened to block John and the others.
"Don't talk nonsense! Do you want to die with them?"
Benjamin frowned and scolded him.
He hadn't expected Mason to be so weak. He had lost to the other side and was also making reckless statements, completely disregarding Auroria's Beast Taming laws.
Benjamin asked, "Are your injuries serious?"
Mason came to his senses; he didn't want to risk his life for them.
"I'm fine, but the flying pig is injured."
Mason summoned his contract spirit. The flying pig's eyes were closed, blood was oozing from its mouth, and it twitched occasionally.
Benjamin said, "It's severely injured."
A cold glint appeared in Benjamin's eyes. John's attack was very powerful.
Benjamin approached them and condescendingly said, "You need to give us 200,000 Stellar Coins for treatment! Do you agree?"
David said, "That's too much. 200,000 Stellar Coins can buy a lot of pigs."
David hadn't expected Benjamin to demand so many Stellar Coins and wanted to negotiate.
The ground trembled as the giant elephant stomped.
John immediately changed his tune, saying, "I think it's completely reasonable! A flying pig is such a rare breed. It's totally worth it!"
"But neither of us have Stellar Coins; we need to call someone to bring us some."
"You don't even have 200,000 Stellar Coins?" Benjamin frowned, thinking they must be from a small town.
"Do you have any relatives in Skylight City?" His eyes were cautious.
John explained, "I have a sister, studying at a university in Skylight City."
"Then have her bring the Stellar Coins!"
Benjamin breathed a sigh of relief. There were so many universities in Skylight City, so he didn't even think about the Quantum Academy of Techno-Magic.
John said, "David, make the call. My phone is broken."
David took out his phone and called Mia.
"David! Where are you guys?" said Mia's anxious voice.
David said, "We're at Beast Manor at the Skylight City Culinary Academy, competition area 07."
Something had really happened!
Mia's expression tightened. She didn't think they were just visiting the Beast Manor; they must have gotten into a conflict.
She turned to the girl next to her and said, "Natalie Marie, can I borrow your Swift Sparrow? I have something urgent to see to!"
