Chapter 84 This Was the Feeling of Helping Others

John put on the doctor's coat, and his expression instantly became solemn and dignified.

He swaggered into the consultation room and sat in the doctor's chair.

"Mr. Harris has an urgent matter to attend to, so I'll be taking over for now. You can call me Mr. Frost!" John said seriously.

No one would think that someone would be so bold as to impersonate a doctor at Miracle Realm Hospital.

"Siir, why don't you have a name tag on your chest?" the first woman in line, Ivy, asked, puzzled.

John was taken aback. She was observant. But he quickly adapted, coughed, and said, "I'm filling in temporarily. I rushed here from home and forgot to bring it with me.

"Alright! Tell me about your contract spirit's condition!"

Ivy nodded and summoned a pure white rabbit. "Sir, my contract spirit has been very hot and seems a bit agitated lately."

John petted the rabbit's fur. It was quite cute. "It's not a big problem. The weather in Skylight City has been hot lately. Get it to stay in the air conditioning at home."

Ivy looked puzzled and asked, "Is that all?"

John nodded. "Yes, if the condition worsens, just return it to the Beast Taming space."

"Next!"

Helping others with their illness was sometimes just that simple.

John suddenly remembered something and said to Ivy, "By the way, come back tomorrow morning for a follow-up."

Contract spirits had extremely strong vitality, and with the powerful Beast Taming space, as long as they didn't die on the spot, they could recover slowly.

Mason's contract spirit had been seriously injured, but as long as it stayed in the Beast Taming space, it would recover in six months.

The main role of a Beast Taming doctor was to shorten the recovery time. Delaying it by a day wouldn't cause any problems.

"Sir, my contract spirit has been a bit agitated lately."

"It's not a big problem. Go home and get it to watch a movie to relieve stress. It'll be fine soon.

"I'm a doctor. You have to trust me!" John said seriously, making people feel confident in him.

"By the way, if the condition worsens, return it to the Beast Taming space. Remember to come back for a follow-up tomorrow."

John reminded everyone to come back tomorrow, as his task was just to get them out of there. If there was a contract spirit here that would die from a day's delay, they would have to go to the emergency room today.

At first, the others were skeptical that treating a contract spirit could be so simple. But John acted so convincingly, like a seasoned doctor.

John watched as each patient left satisfied, feeling a sense of gratification. John thought, 'This is what it feels like to help others.'

The line got shorter, and soon, there were less than ten people left.

A man named Daniel came over and said, "Sir, my contract spirit has been losing its appetite lately."

John's eyes darted around, and he sighed. "I have good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?"

Daniel tensed up and said, "The good news."

John said, "I've decided to name this disease after your contract spirit."

Daniel's eyes widened in disbelief. Daniel thought, 'This isn't good news at all. Besides, it was just a bit of a loss of appetite. How could it be this serious?'

John said, "For now, put it in the Beast Taming space and see how it goes. Come back for a follow-up tomorrow!"

"Next!"

A student named Noah came over and said, "Sir, my contract spirit has been in pain and has diarrhea."

John petted the contract spirit's head and said, "I have good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?"

Noah was confused and tentatively said, "The bad news."

John said, "Your contract spirit's condition is quite serious and may require a comprehensive examination to diagnose. Come back for a follow-up tomorrow."

Noah asked, "And what about the good news?"

"Good news? Hold on a second." John looked at the line that was almost clear and took out his phone.

John said, "Mia, come over quickly. Oh, and bring something for me."

"You wait here for a bit. Next!"

John continued to see patients, quickly getting rid of the last few.

If he were a regular doctor, it might have taken a whole day. John solved it in less than two hours.

"I'm so tired!" John stood up and stretched.

After a while, Mia and David arrived at the hospital. They weren't far, and if they had arrived later, they might have missed it.

"How did you finish so quickly?" Mia asked, puzzled. Could it be that Miracle Realm Hospital wasn't popular anymore?

Mia said, "John, that coat you're wearing..."

John made a gesture and took David's loudspeaker.

"Come here, the good news is here." John pointed to the last patient and pressed the loudspeaker's recording button.

"Good news! Good news!"

"Alright, now you know the good news, right?" John said seriously. "Go home and come back for a follow-up tomorrow."

Noah's eyes widened in anger. He looked at John and finally left. So that was the good news.

'Reward received: Violent Sit Kill +1'

John calmly took off the doctor's coat.

"John!" Mia and David were both stunned. They had seen outrageous things before, but never something this outrageous.

"You're such a jerk. Aren't you afraid you'lldelay their treatment?"

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. I told everyone to come back for a follow-up tomorrow."

John shrugged and said, "With the Beast Taming space, nothing will go wrong. Besides, many of them just have minor ailments. They might recover after a day in the Beast Taming space."

"Looks like there are a lot of people with Stellar Coins in Skylight City. They came to Miracle Realm Hospital just for diarrhea and loss of appetite."

As the three of them were talking, a doctor named Donald Martin walked in, wearing a doctor's coat.

He looked surprised and asked, "Where are the patients?"

Mia and David both looked at John. He calmly said, "I don't know either."

"Are patients these days so impatient?" Donald shook his head, but he was not too concerned. It meant he could rest today.

But Donald didn't know that the number of patients tomorrow would make him despair. Follow-up patients didn't need to pay for a new consultation and could come with the new patients.

"Do you have any questions?" Donald asked with a smile.

Mia summoned the head of her Frost Dragon, and the temperature in the room dropped significantly.

"A dragon?" Donald's eyes widened in surprise.

Beast Tamers with dragon-type contract spirits were not common. Even the Miracle Realm Hospital did not see them often.
