"Mia, you're amazing!"

As they walked, John and David kept praising Mia, their faces full of fawning smiles.

They hadn't expected Mia to be so formidable. The Quantum Academy of Techno-Magic was incredibly powerful; it wasn't just a simple university but a top-tier force in Skylight City.

"Don'texaggerate."

Mia's face was cold, she was clearly still upset with John for pretending to be dead earlier.

"Mia, I was really trying to avoid danger!"

John explained, "That guy's fist was terrifying! I'm so weak. If he hit me, I'd definitely die on the spot!"

David chimed in, "Perfect, Mia and I could have held a funeral for you."

John pushed David away. John thought, 'You're such a jerk.'

Mia nodded expressionlessly, but there was a hint of a smile in her eyes.

"Mia, you didn't see it. I was spitting blood while approaching the guy. Benjamin was so scared that his legs grew weak. I bet when I fell, Benjamin's heart skipped a beat!"

John kept describing the ridiculous scene, his actions and expressions extremely exaggerated.

"Get lost! You're spitting on my face!"

Mia shoved John away, a smile forming at the corner of her mouth. She seemed no longer bothered by the earlier incident.

The three of them chatted happily as they arrived at a steakhouse to celebrate.

John raised his glass and said, "David! I knew I wasn't wrong about you! I always thought you had potential! Congratulations, future culinary master of Auroria!"

Mia also raised her glass and said, "Iexpected this of my brother. You might not be a Beast Tamer, but you got into a top university through independent exams."

"You should work hard in college. You're different from John. You're young, talented, and ambitious. You have a bright future."

John felt that something was off and quickly asked, "Mia, don't you trust me?"

"I'm young and talented too!"

It felt like Mia was belittling him!

David also raised his glass and said, "It's okay, John. Mia's right. Maybe she just didn't phrase it well. Don't take it to heart."

"Not at all!" John laughed and cursed, but he didn't mind at all.

The three of them raised their glasses to celebrate, their faces full of smiles.

On August 5, 980, in the Galactic Era, David successfully got into the Skylight City Culinary Academy.

At night, the three of them took a cab back to the entrance of the Quantum Academy of Techno-Magic.

"Mia, take these. You might need them."

John handed Mia the Beast Taming pearls and a pair of beast claws from his backpack.

Mia said, "I'll take the claws, but you keep the five Beast Taming pearls. You're too weak to be my brother."

Mia took the claws after thinking for a moment.

The claws were from a mutated Iron Claw Beast, and provided a chance to learn the 'Rend' skill, which didn't match with Slime at all.

At that moment, a space above Mia's head cracked open, and the head of a Flame Dragon emerged, swallowing the claws in one bite.

As expected, no skill was learned.

You couldn't rely on mutated beasts to learn skills..

Only lord-level or higher king-level beasts were the main sources of contract spirit skills.

"Mia, your dragon is so cool."

John and David looked envious. Mia was fortunate to have two dragons as contract spirits.

John asked, "Can you take us for a flight?"

Mia shook her head, "No, it can only fly at low altitudes. If we fly around, all the trees in this city would catch fire."

"Then can we touch it?"

They looked curious and approached the Red Flame Dragon, reaching out to touch its head.

"It's so warm!"

"Yeah, you wouldn't need heating in winter. If you just hang this dragon from the ceiling, the whole room would be warm."

"Definitely, and with the Ice Dragon, you wouldn't fear the heat in summer either."

They kept touching the Red Flame Dragon's head like they were crazy.

Mia's mouth twitched. "Get lost!"

The Flame Dragon roared angrily and returned to the Beast Taming space.

Mia asked, "By the way, John, can you help me get in line at the Beast Taming Studies in Miracle Realm Hospital tomorrow?"

John said, "What's wrong? Are you sick?"

Mia explained, "Are you crazy? I said it was for Beast Taming Studies. The Frost Dragon has a small problem."

John nodded. "Got it!"

They returned to the hotel, and John swallowed all five Beast Taming pearls.

The Beast-Taming power in his body increased significantly, bringing him closer to becoming a level seven Beast Tamer.

The next morning.

John went out alone. Miracle Realm Hospital was right next to the Quantum Academy of Techno-Magic. It was the country's top medical institution.

Meanwhile, Mia took David to Skylight City's pedestrian street to buy him a full set of culinary tools to celebrate his college admission.

As a culinary artist, he knew that tools like knives and pots were different from ordinary ones, as they were specifically for cooking and handling beast meat.

To punish John for yesterday's incident, Mia made him get in line alone at the hospital.

"I can't believe she's making a future legendary Beast Tamer do this! It's such a disgrace."

John sighed and went to the Beast Taming Studies at the hospital, joining the long queue.

Each attending doctor only saw a fixed number of patients per day.

John managed to get a number, but it was the last one.

He only realized how different he was from others while he was in the line.

John had a lunchbox and was prepared to queue all day.

"I'll watch some live streams."

Feeling bored, John pulled out his phone and tapped into a live game stream. Out of the blue, a private message popped up from someone within the streaming software.

A profile picture of a seductive woman appeared. The woman: [Sir, do you need service? Click on my profile!]

"What the heck?"

John raised an eyebrow and clicked on the avatar, finding a Facebook contact.

His eyes lit up, and he added the Facebook account.

The woman: [Hey Sir, do you need some service? Anything goes!]

John: [Any kind of service?]

The woman: [Of course, and it's cheap!]

John: [Perfect, I'm currently at the Miracle Realm Hospital. I need someone to help me stay in line. Come over as soon as possible.]

John smiled, thinking he was so smart. This kind of task was perfect for hiring someone.

But half an hour passed with no reply.

John was puzzled and sent a question mark. John:[???.]

To his surprise, a red exclamation mark appeared before the question mark!

"Did she block me?" John was shocked. He hadn't expected this outcome.

"She won't even take such a simple task, yet claims to offer any service? She's definitely a scammer!"

John complained and continued to stay in line quietly.

But after half an hour, the line had only moved about 3 feet.

Soon, there was a commotion ahead.

"Sorry, everyone, please be patient. I have an urgent matter to attend to!"

A doctor in a white coat left the clinic apologetically, leaving a large group of people waiting helplessly.

"I can't believe this is happening."

John sighed, but soon, options appeared before his eyes.

John sighed, his face full of conflict.
