Chapter 75 No One More Outrageous Than You
"Mia, John is really getting too arrogant now. I can't even stand him anymore!"
David quietly approached Mia from behind, trying to please her.
Only then did John slowly straighten up, pointing at David. "You traitor!"
This traitor must have leaked their itinerary; otherwise, Mia wouldn't have found them so easily.
Mia said, "Alright! I'll treat you to dinner!"
Mia smiled. Although she had beaten up John, she hadn't used much force. She knew where to draw the line.
Otherwise, with her enhanced physique, John wouldn't have been able to resist.
The three of them playfully got into a black car.
Although it was just an ordinary car, the people around them looked at it with envy and respect.
This was because the license plate of the car was 'Quantum Academy of Techno-Magic No. 332'.
The name Quantum Academy of Techno-Magic was enough to command respect in Skylight City, more so than the schools John had originally attended in his world.
This was because Beast Tamers were crucial for the survival of Stellar Enigmas.
The three of them got into the car and left the bustling train station.
Along the way, John often caught sight of admiring glances from the people around them. This was Skylight City, where strong individuals, wealthy people, and officials frequently appeared.
He could already feel the power of the Quantum Academy of Techno-Magic.
As Mia drove, she said, "John, I heard you became a Beast Tamer and even entered the special training class at South River High School."
John sighed. "I can't help it. I'm just too talented."
"Do you really think you can get into the Quantum Academy of Techno-Magic?"
Mia sneered, looking disdainful. Mia thought, 'You're talking about talent in front of me? Aren't you afraid of embarrassing yourself?'
"I will definitely get into the Quantum Academy of Techno-Magic!" John declared. If he gained some respect in Skylight City, he would surely be even more respected back in the City of Wisdom.
Mia said, "David, you've been smiling the whole time. Is there something on your mind?"
"I was just thinking that I'll be coming to study in Skylight City soon. With Mia here to protect me, I can do whatever I want when the time comes."
David fantasized about his wonderful life at the university, unable to contain his laughter.
"You have to rely on yourself!" John scolded, then immediately ingratiated himself. "Mia, I'll be coming to the Quantum Academy of Techno-Magic next year, and I'll be relying on you to protect me."
Mia's mouth twitched as she saw that the two of them hadn't changed at all.
John said, "My phone is out of battery."
John wanted to call his family, but his phone was out of battery.
John was suspicious. He must have forgotten to charge it.
"I used your phone," David said with a smirk.
"But wait, your phone is out of battery, too," John pointed out.
David explained, "I used the battery from your phone to charge mine."
John's eyeswidened. "You scoundrel! You're too much."
John grabbed David's neck with both hands and shook him back and forth.
David immediately screamed.
Mia shook her head as she listened to their antics, a faint smile playing on her lips.
Two hours later, the three of them arrived at a restaurant with a sign that read 'Culinary Journey'.
John said, "Mia, you brought us here to eat this? Can't we have something better?"
"Don't be picky. I'm not rich," Mia retorted, parking the car by the road.
"Mia's here!"
The proprietress of Culinary Journey immediately recognized Mia. It was clear she was a regular here.
"Lena, bring us some of your restaurant's signature dishes," Mia ordered grandly. The three of them sat at a table outside the restaurant.
They all felt sentimental as they looked at the crowd and the flashing neon lights.
Compared to Skylight City, the City of Wisdom was just a small place.
The three of them looked at the various delicacies on the table.
They were all eager to taste the food.
"The food here is so delicious, Mia!"
David's mouth was full as he happily ate.
"Of course it is, I wouldn't lie to you guys." Mia also ate happily, showing no signs of shyness.
Suddenly, John asked, "Mia, didn't you take on a task in the Alternate Dimension?"
Mia licked her lips and said, "I just got back two days ago, I killed a black iron three-star lord creature."
"Really?!" John's eyes widened.
He thought she was talking about it very casually.
The Ice Wild Rabbit Lord was only a black iron one-star lord, and it had almost killed all of Caspar's Beast Guards.
A black iron three-star lord was definitely powerful.
David said, "Mia, tell us about Skylight City."
It was good to know a bit about the city in advance since they would all be coming to Skylight City in the future.
Mia nodded. She had been in Skylight City for two years and had a basic understanding of the situation, especially in terms of Beast Tamers.
The three of them chatted and ate while Mia occasionally shared her thrilling experiences.
As they were laughing and joking, a sharp voice suddenly rang out.
"This is the first time I've seen Mia having a meal with men, and two at that. How strange."
Six people approached from a distance.
The handsome young man in the middle had a drunken look in his eyes.
As soon as he said that, although the other five people looked dazed, their bodies tensed almost instinctively, and their expressions changed, quickly covering the man's mouth.
"Mia, Peter is drunk, it's a misunderstanding."
"There's no need tobe afraid of her. None of their Beast Guard members are here!"
Peter sneered, removing the hand covering his mouth, completely unconcerned.
Mia stopped chewing, wiped her mouth with a napkin, and said gently with a smile, "It's okay. You can leave."
Peter's face was full of arrogance as he boasted, "She definitely wouldn't dare to retaliate against us!"
Mia glanced at John and raised an eyebrow as they watched the six people gradually walk away.
John nodded and quietly took out a large bag from his backpack.
They understood each other perfectly!
Mia calmly took the large bag and kicked her legs suddenly, moving with incredible speed, almost silently appearing behind the six people.
Her professionalism was almost on par with John's.
Peter was still bragging but suddenly found himself trapped by the bag.
The bag enveloped Peter.
