CHAPTER 58

Lucas and I walked down to the dining room where Jax and Harry were and Jax helped me to my seat, pulling it out like a gentleman and Harry placed the plate of food down in front of me. They both gave me a kiss as they did so, causing me to look a little embarrassed. I didn’t really know how to feel in this situation.
Lucas and I were just upstairs about to have sex and I’ve got these other two guys down here that have the same expectations of me. I felt like I was betraying them or something. I couldn’t really look them in the eye.
“So, what were you two getting up to earlier?” Jax asked, mischievously. Causing me to look up at him and he wriggled his eyebrows when I looked at him and Harry had a slight grin on his face.
But I could feel my cheeks heating up with embarrassment.
“That has nothing to do with you so why don’t you just shut up and eat?” Lucas asked, keeping his cool demeanor and not giving anything away. I wish I could do that.
I just quickly lowered my head to look at the food, trying to avoid looking straight at them and I started slowly eating my food.
I was also feeling guilty because ever since I had moved in, I hadn’t really done anything around the house.
I mean, I never did any cleaning or cooking or anything like that. And I was always doing that at dad’s house. But that also reminded me, there was still so much to go over with dad’s estate. I mean, I know that he had to have a will but no lawyer has tried to contact me.
I don’t expect he would have left anything to me in his will, so that’s probably why I hadn’t heard anything.
Harry was sitting straight across from me and I think he could tell that my mind was starting to wander.
“Are you alright?” He asked.
“Yeah. Sorry, I was just thinking about a few things. Nothing important.” I said.
“It looked important.” Harry said.
“Well, I haven’t heard from my dad’s lawyer. Which means none of his estate is coming to me obviously. I didn’t expect it to, but I was expecting some sort of phone call or something.” I explained.
“Well, the less you have to do with his crap the better. Let someone else deal with it.” Jax said.
“Yeah. I don’t really care. But I do want to start contributing to the house. I feel like a freeloader here.” I said.
“Don’t even worry about that. Dad pays for everything around here.” Lucas said. And Harry scoffed.
“So he should.” Jax said.
I looked at the guys and I could see that they all had disdain for the guy. But they weren’t like that when I first met them.
Harry talked about William saving his life, but now he was acting like he hated him.
I don’t know what changed his mind, but something did.
After dinner I helped clear the table and I did the dishes and helped clean the kitchen, above all the protests from the guys. But I told them that I hated being a freeloader.
“What movie are we going to watch tonight?” Jax asked.
“Ladies choice.” Harry said.
“Action.” I said, without hesitation.
“Are you sure? After all the action you’ve seen lately?” Jax asked, winking at me. But I just quickly put my head down again.
“You know that she hates romance movies. She likes comedies when she’s in the mood, but she will pick action almost every time.” Harry said, kissing me on the cheek as he walked behind me.
“At least someone pays attention.” I said.
So I finished up with the dishes and we went into the living room.
Lucas and I sat on the couch in front of the TV and Jax and Harry were on bean bags that were on the side of the room.
This place really needed to be redecorated. It still looked like a frat house.
But I guess, it was comfortable and I wasn’t going to tell the guys how they should live since this was working for them before I got here.
Harry turned the light off so the only light that was shining in was from the hallway next to the stairs and they started the movie.
I tried to start watching the movie that they put on because I hadn’t seen it before, but I was having way too much trouble concentrating on it.
I leaned up against the arm rest and put my elbow on it and leaned my head against my hand, but I still couldn’t seem to get comfortable enough or focus on the movie.
I slowly glanced over at Lucas and he wasn’t watching the movie either. He was staring at me with the same intensity that I think I had on my face.
He subtly moved his hand closer to mine, gently rubbing the back of it and making me feel more nervous and expectant of what was going to happen.
He finally grasped my hand and interlocked our fingers with each other and I looked over at him again.
He was looking at me like he was asking if I was ready. But I nodded my head towards the other two that were sitting in the bean bag.
He just shook it off and he stood up, while still holding my hand and pulled me up as well.
I knew that Jax and Harry were watching us, but I couldn’t turn back to look at them. I was too scared about what they would be thinking right now. So Lucas started walking up the stairs, still holding my hand and I followed him with my head down mostly.
When we got to the top of the stairs, I thought I would relax a little more, but I didn’t.
I think I just got more nervous.
“Hey. Don’t worry about them two. They aren’t going to be mad at you.” Lucas said.
“How do you know that?” I asked.
“Trust me. I know.” He said.
So he led me towards his bedroom and once we were inside he shut and locked the door.
He led me towards the bed and sat me down while he stood in front of me unbuttoning his shirt and taking it off, causing me to get really nervous but excited at the same time.
He looked like a Greek god. The muscles that no teenager should have were so defined and beautiful.
I watched his face and his body, my heart racing as fast as it would go, and I started worrying that I wasn’t going to live up to his expectations. I mean, someone like him must have been with heaps of women.
He leaned down and cupped my face with his hands and started to gently kiss me, memories of my past started to surface, causing me to tremble slightly.
Lucas could feel the tension straight away and he ran his hands down my arms to my hands.
“It’s alright. You know that I’m not going to hurt you.” Lucas said, lifting my hand up to his face. “Look at me.” He said.
Looking at Lucas and seeing the softness in his eyes made my worries and fears start to fade away.
“Are you sure you’re ready?” He asked.
“Yes.” I said, with a little more determination than I intended. And he smiled at me as he leaned down to kiss me again.
