CHAPTER 96

I didn’t end up getting back to sleep that night. I was way too wound up and I sat on the floor next to the bed watching the sun come up.
I’d heard footsteps throughout the night so I don’t think Bentley went back to sleep either.
I was just hoping that he would come back into my room but he stayed away.
That was, until he brought my breakfast in for me. He placed the tray on my bed and even though it looked really delicious and smelt great, I wasn’t going to touch anything that he made for me.
I didn’t know what was in it. He already tranquilized me. Who the hell knows what he’s putting in my food.
As soon as he put the tray on my bed he walked around to the side that I was on and he sat on the bed looking out the window.
“I am really sorry about last night. I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“What did you think was going to happen?”
“I’ve been nothing but nice to you. Why are you making this so hard for me?” He asked.
“What the fuck are you talking about? I helped you for one day get caught up on assignments. That’s it. So, I don’t know what you think happened that day but you are wrong.”
“I know that I loved you from the moment I saw you.” He said.
“You’re insane.” I said, looking away.
“You’ve never felt that way. You’ve never felt love at first sight?” He asked.
I looked down at my lap before I looked back up and made sure that I was looking him straight in the eyes.
“Yeah. I have felt that. But not with you.” I said.
“Right. With one of those guys.” He sighed.
“No.” I said. And he looked at me with shock on his face.
That obviously wasn’t the answer that he was expecting, but there was no point in lying anymore. Either he was going to keep me chained up forever or kill me. Those are his only two options now. Because if he lets me go, the guys are going to kill him. And I think he knows that.
“With all of them.” I said.
“You love them all? You said that you were sleeping with them. You didn’t say that you loved them.”
“You didn’t ask if I loved them.”
“I don’t believe this. What the hell is wrong with you people? How is it alright for them to share a woman and the others don’t get jealous? I hate the thought of them even touching you.” He yelled.
I looked back out the window, not wanting to acknowledge his ranting anymore. As far as I was concerned, he didn’t know what the fuck he was talking about.
He couldn’t possibly understand the connection that I have with the guys. How much they love me and how much I love them back.
My one fear is that they will find someone else that they want to be with and they will eventually leave me.
That’s always been my biggest fear. But right now, they are mine. At least I hope they still are.
I know that Jax is looking for me. He’ll be worried. I just hope that they aren’t giving up on me. Thinking that I ran away from them because of that stupid fight.
I need them to still believe in me. The same way that I am believing in them.
I don’t believe that there is anything going on with those other girls.
“You really don’t know who you’re messing with.” I said.
“I know all about them three. I know that they are mercenaries. Why the hell do you think I wanted to get you out of there?” Bentley asked.
“Because you’re an idiot. They’ve never done anything to hurt me. They love me and show me that they love me. All the time. They certainly never tried to choke me.” I said.
“I told you that I was sorry. I just lost my temper.”
I looked at him before I looked back at the open door. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to make it but I had to start planning a way to get out of here.
I had a feeling that the guys would never be able to find this place.
That’s the whole point. It wouldn’t have any connection to Madison or Bentley. So, they wouldn’t think to look here.
I heard some more people come in the house and they started walking upstairs while talking to Madison and they were laughing and carrying on.
More women. Just fucking great.
I kept looking towards the doorway when Madison stopped right in front of the door with the two other women.
“Nancy and Alora.” I said.
“Wow. I can’t believe you actually got her out of that house.” Alora said.
“What the hell are you two doing here? All three of you are meant to be moving in on the guys. If they have spare time to focus on finding Skylar then all of this will be for nothing.” Bentley said.
“Why are you all doing this?” I asked.
“Because you don’t deserve to have all the fun.” Alora said.
“You don’t deserve to have any fun.” Madison scoffed.
“Believe me, I’m not.” I said.
“We’re going to go and see them now. But we wanted to stop and see Madison first.” Alora said.
“I sent the guys after Grace. They will totally believe that she’s the one behind Skylar’s kidnapping. I had to make sure that they didn’t suspect me. And so Jax could think of me as a shoulder to cry on.” Madison said. And I started laughing.
They all looked at me weird and Bentley stood up to look at the other girls.
“You do realize that’s never going to work. The guys aren’t stupid. They will go to Grace’s house and beat her until she tells the truth. Now, we know that Grace is a bully. But when it comes to what the guys can do, she doesn’t stand a fucking chance. They will hurt her in so many ways until she tells them where I am. They won’t believe that she can take that sort of punishment and not give it up.” I laughed while trying to tell them.
“What?” Madison asked, stepping into the room.
“You just buried yourself. You should have kept your fucking mouth shut. Now they are going to suspect you.” I said.
“Everyone, get out.” Madison said.
“You’re not going to touch her.” Bentley said.
“I said to get out.” Madison growled at them.
So everyone left the room and she closed and locked the door from the inside.
So I stood up and she started walking closer to me.
“Do you really think I am that stupid?” She asked.
“Yeah. Because all I needed was to get you away from them.” I said.
“What?” She asked, confused.
As soon as she was close enough to me, I grabbed her by the front of the shirt and I headbutted her causing her nose to bleed.
She tried to pull back away from me, but I slammed her against the brick wall and I grabbed her head and slammed it against the wall until she fell to the ground barely conscious.
I grabbed the chain that was around my ankle, but whatever slack was in the chain went around Madison’s neck.
I pulled on it as tight as I could until she stopped fighting and her whole body went limp.
I didn’t know if she was dead or not and right now, I didn’t care.
I rolled her over and I grabbed her phone out of her back pocket.
No surprises, the only numbers she had were Bentley, Alora, Wendy and Jax.
