CHAPTER 94

LUCAS POV

As we stood over Grace and her mother holding our guns in front of us, Harry pocketed Joseph’s gun and kept him across the room so he couldn’t go to Grace.
“Who are these people?” Grace’s mother asked.
“Boys from school.” Grace said.
“They don’t look like boys from school.”
“I asked you a question. Where is Skylar?” Jax demanded through gritted teeth.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. You never let her out of your sight anymore.” Grace said.
“Bullshit. You’ve hated Skylar for years. You’ve hated her even more since she moved in with us and you weren’t able to use her as a punching bag anymore.” I yelled.
“I swear. I don’t know what the hell you are talking about. I haven’t seen any of you in ages. You don’t even come to school anymore.” Grace yelled.
“Exactly. So you can’t get your revenge at school so you sent some asshole to break into our house in the middle of the night.” I yelled.
Grace looked genuinely shocked by what I was saying and she looked between the whole three of us.
“I swear. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I never sent anyone to your house.” Grace said, tears starting to run down her cheeks.
We all knew that she was capable of pretty much anything. And telling the truth wasn’t one of them.
She could lie as easily as we could break into someone’s house.
I walked over and grabbed Grace by the arm and I pulled her off the bed, against her mother’s protest and I ordered her out of the room.
“Stay here and keep an eye on them.” I told the guys. So they focused their guns back on the parents while Grace’s mother was screaming and crying.
I’d never seen that woman before. It was always only Joseph.
I wonder how much that woman actually knew about what her husband and daughter were up to. There was no doubt that Grace was following in her father’s footsteps. But none of us had ever seen the mother before.
Knowing people like this, she probably knows but chooses to turn a blind eye to it so she doesn’t have to deal with the reality of what she’s living with.
Just so long as she gets her spending allowance for clothes and shoes.
That’s usually how these people work.
I dragged Grace down the hallway to her bedroom and I pushed her inside and I closed the door behind me and locked it.
“What are you going to do?” Grace asked.
“We’re not leaving here until you tell me where Skylar is.” I said.
“I told you, I don’t know.” She said.
So I walked across the room and I grabbed her by the arms and I threw her against the wall that was behind her.
“Don’t make me do this Grace. You have no idea what I am capable of.” I said, only inches away from her face.
“I know you’re not going to hurt me.” She smirked.
I smiled back, but then I turned my gun around and I hit her across the face with the butt of my gun and she fell to the ground with blood pouring from her face.
She started crying even harder after I hit her, and I walked over and sat on the chair on the other side of her room. But she still had to get past me if she wanted to get to the door.
I leaned back on the couch and I looked around the room.
Everything was done in pink and purple. Like a real little princess.
I honestly imagined that her room would be painted black to go with her personality.
“Lucas.” Jax yelled from down the hall.
“I’m busy.” I said.
“Grace’s brothers just got home.” Jax said.
“Deal with it.” I ordered.
“My brothers aren’t going to let you get away with this.” Grace cried out.
“Tell me where she is.”
“I already told you. I have no idea.”
“Well, your friends aren’t as loyal as you think they are. They’re starting to turn on you.” I said.
She looked at me really confused. I could see her trying to think about what to say next, but I didn’t have time for this.
I stood up and walked back over towards her.
I leaned down and grabbed her by the hair and forced her to look up at me while I pointed the gun in her face.
She was looking straight down the barrel of the gun and all she did was start crying even more.
We heard gunshots outside in the hallway and Grace was about to scream when I grabbed her hair even tighter and I warned her to shut up.
I didn’t know who fired those shots and I didn’t know who was hurt right now.
Even if it was Jax or Harry, I know they would want me to get this information first.
“Tell me.” I demanded. But she shook her head.
I knew that she was stubborn but this was ridiculous.
“You know, we all made a pact to never hit a woman. But since you’re fucking around with the woman that we love, I’m going to make an exception here.” I said. And I punched her across the face and kicked her in the stomach.
She was still on the ground, leaning against the wall.
She started coughing and the white carpet was getting stained with blood.
“I hope you realize that all three of us will kill for Skylar.” I informed her.
“Why? Why the hell do you like her so much? She’s nothing.”
“She’s more of a woman than you will ever be.”
“Well, I don’t know where she is. I swear. I didn’t take her. I had nothing to do with it.” Grace cried, looking down at the ground.
“If anything happens to her because of you, I will kill you.” I said.
Grace laid on the ground, looking at the floor and not looking up at me anymore.
She was really hurting and her face was bleeding a lot. But she was still holding strong.
I was finding it hard that she hadn’t broken yet. I mean, she acts all tough at school. But she’s not as tough as she thinks she is.
“If you had nothing to do with it. Then why did Madison say that you did?” I asked.
Her head snapped up and looked at me. There was even more confusion in her face now than ever.
“What’s Madison doing here? Her family left about a month ago. They moved.” Grace said.
“She showed up at our house tonight to talk to Jax. She said that she wasn’t your friend anymore because you were hinting at you being out of control.”
“Madison was always trying to find a way to get Jax alone without any of you or Skylar around before she moved.” Grace admitted.
“Are you saying that Madison did this? She sent us here to think that it was you?” I asked.
Grace started nodding her head.
“She’s not as innocent as you think.” Grace said.
Then someone knocked on the door.
“Lucas. We gotta get out of here. Hurry it up.” Harry said.
“If you’re lying to me, I will be back.” I warned her.
So I walked to the door and I opened it up and walked into the hallway.
I saw a guy laying on the ground, holding a gunshot wound and Joseph was standing at the doorway of his bedroom with a bleeding head.
“If you tell anyone about this, we’ll be back to finish the job.” Jax threatened Joseph.
So we walked downstairs and out the front door.
We got back to the car and as soon as we got inside of it I slammed the door.
“Where is she?” Jax asked.
“That bitch played you. Madison.” I said.
Jax turned to look at me and he knew that I was serious.
“Find out where she is.” Harry said.
“I’m already ahead of you there.” I said, pulling out my phone.
We took off down the road but we only made it so far before Harry pulled over in a car park.
