Chapter 72: Arrival is Davis in Canada

Emily's Pov

Just as the fight was getting serious, Mason came gl separate us. “What's wrong with you Tiffany?” He said.

“Really? Are you seriously asking me that? Will you let that girl leave, she hit me.” Tiffany said.

Mason sighed. “You started it, I was watching you guys from where I was sitting, why will you slap, do you expect her not to react.”

“If you know this is the reason you cake out just leave, you're embarrassing me.” Tiffany said, angrily as her friends grabbed her up from the floor.

“You have to calm down.” Mason said.

She turned to me. “As for you, get ready to leave this school tomorrow.”

The students murmured. “Hey, there's no way I will be leaving tomorrow.”

She hissed, before storming, her friends followed her throwing stones at me.

Mason turned to me as she left. “Hope you're okay?”

His voice was soft. “Yeah, I'm fine.” I tried to process all that had happened.

Vivian was still standing in disbelief and shock.

Before Mason left he smiled at me and I couldn't shake off the feeling that he might be interested in me.

“Hey, this girl, what's wrong with you, do you know who her father is?” Vivian asked.

“Who cares who her father is, I don't want to know.” I said.

Vivian sighed. “That was epic, I couldn't breathe properly, I thought she was going to beat you up.”

I smiled. “You're just getting to know me.”

“I accept the fact that I'm just getting to know you. Girl you're good at everything, I really love that.” She said, in surprise.

“You know I don't like the fact that you guys are scared of her, someone needs to stand up.” I said, adjusting my clothes which Tiffany had almost torn.

“I can't believe you're not afraid of what she can do to you but it's amazing.” Vivian said, nodding her head vigorously.

“I need to keep her in check, she won't mess with me again.” I said, feeling a sense of pride.

As we walked to our room I could hear people saying “It's nice she beat her up, but I feel pity for her she will surely be expelled from this school tomorrow.”

“Exposure:?” I laughed. “They really think that will be happening to me tomorrow.” I rolled my eyes.

“There's no way the school will support the fact that you should be suspended. We need someone like you who can stand up to her.” Vivian said.

I smiled at Vivian. “You really got my back huh?”

“Sure, and I always will.” She said, “we're in this together.

We got to our room. We got to our room and were shocked to see the door open. “I'm sure we closed this while we were leaving.” I said. Vivian was also surprised.

We ignored that, we were so stressed and tired. I went straight to my locker to keep my jewelry but I found something there. It was a piece of paper, I brought it out to read.

“Can you meet me in the music room tomorrow? I'd love to see you there.” I didn't know who it was. “What's that?” Vivian asked.

“I don't know who dropped this here, see what the person wrote.” I said, handing over the note to her.

“This writing looks familiar, I think I've seen it before.” She said, But she couldn't remember who it was.

She kept quiet for a while. “Yeah, this is Mason's writing.”

“Then how did it get here?” I asked.

“He must have given it to one of the girls to drop in the room so you can see it.” Vivian said, “Girl, it seems this guy is interested in you.”

“Me? Are you sure it's Mason?” I asked.

“I'm sure about that, you're really making waves in this school.” She said,

I wondered what Mason had to tell me. “Maybe he wants to see me because of the fight I had with Tiffany.” I said, trying to downplay what was at hand.

Vivian smiled. “No way Girl, it's more to that, he had his reason for dropping a note instead of telling you when Tiffany left.”

“Are you saying this is something more?” I asked.

I wondered if it was something else he wanted to talk to me about or he was interested in me.

“Are you going to meet him?” Vivian asked.

“Let's see about that.” I hesitated before answering her.

Davis Pov

I wore my clothes to go to the office and not long after I was done I got a call from Emily's school. I was told she got into a fight with Jackson's daughter. “Do you mean Jackson threatened to expel my daughter?” I asked.

“Yes, I guess he doesn't know you're the one, I told him she's your daughter but he denied it.”

“Oh wow, he denied it.” I repeated.

The call ended. “What's that about?” Olivia asked.

Rebecca was also standing there, they had thought something bad had happened to Emily. “I'm going to Emily's school now.”

“Now, you didn't even plan to go there.” Olivia said.

“I have no choice, she got into a fight and she's about to get expelled. I have to call my pilot to get my private jet ready.” I said, adjusting my tie.

I left for the airport and the pilot headed to Canada. I felt a surge of urgency. I needed to teach Jackson a lesson and I needed to see my daughter. My cousin stays in Canada. I dialed his number and told him to go to Emily's school and find out every detail.

The jet soared through the sky and I felt a surge of anger. Jackson had no idea who I was. I'm more powerful and I have more influence than him and I won't let him treat my daughter that way. I didn't want to know if my daughter was at fault or not.

The Jet continued its journey. The jet flew over the Canadian landscape and I will make sure Jackson regrets it. My cousin's brother, James, gave me feedback on how things were.

After some hours the plane landed at the airport, I booked a cab and headed to Emily's school, she didn't know I was coming. I brought out my phone with my bodyguard following me as I dialed Emily's number.

I met James, my brother. “Hey, the situation is worse than we expected.”

“What are they saying now?” I asked.

Emily was happy to see me. “You didn't tell me you were coming Dad, don't tell me you're here because of what happened.”

“What exactly happened, what caused the fight?” I asked her.

She was about to explain what happened but it wasn't necessary at that moment. I wanted to face Jackson. “Where is that son of a bitch?” I asked.

James led me to where they were seated discussing the matter, Jackson was seated, next to his daughter. The school principals stood up to greet me as soon as I came in. Jackson's eyes widened in shock as he saw me. “You son of a bitch, you're threatening the school to expel my daughter because your day wants that.”

Jackson couldn't say a word. “Why are you quiet?”
