Chapter 93: The Gym

Emily's Pov

I quickly took a step back trying all I could to create a distance. “You have to stop this Mason, what's wrong with you?” I tried keeping my voice steady.

But Mason wasn't listening to me, his gaze was fixed on me with so much intensity. “You're playing hard to get, no one is here, stop pretending you don't want this.” He said, still breathing heavily.

I was disgusted by all he says, “How will you appear from nowhere and suddenly you think you can do what you want with me. Do you think I'm Tiffany?” I said, trying to push him away but I couldn't as he was so strong.

I wanted to shout but the door was open. I guess Micheal had come to wash up, when he saw me trying to release the grip Mason had on me his eyes blazed with anger. He didn't care to know who he was as he punched him in the back. “Leave her alone.” He said, with a menacing tone.

Mason walked closer to me instead, he looked at Jack before returning his gaze to me. “Tell him to stay out of this.”

Who does Mason think he was. He stared at Michael before releasing the grip he had on me. He left after that.

I was relieved. “All thanks to Mason, he's my lifesaver.” I said, my heart was still racing.

“Who's that guy?” He asked.

“He's just a guy in school I knew recently.” I replied.

Micheal sighed. “Put on your dress, let's leave here.” He said, before leaving to wait for me.

I tried to process what just happened. I put on my dress quickly. As I tied my shoelace my hands were shaking. Mason has the audacity to touch me and I won't just let him get away with it. He thought he could just force himself on me.

When I was done dressing I left the locker room, Micheal was waiting for me in the hallway. His face was filled with concern. “Are you okay? That guy won't get away with this, I didn't want to hurt him because you didn't tell me to do so.”

I nodded. “I know right, he was really pushing his luck. But I'm okay, all thanks to you.”

He smiled broadly, “we should leave already, where is Joanna and Rachel?”

I almost forgot we had come with them. “They were over there.” I said, pointing at the spot.

We walked around looking for them but they were nowhere to be found. We decided to walk out of the gym, the place was quiet already, “Where could they be?” I muttered.

While we were walking towards the parking lot we saw them standing outside the car. They were waiting for us. That was a relief.

Micheal stopped at a spot. “What are you going to do about Michael's behavior? That guy is a real creep.”

I knew he was trying to protect me. The thought that Michael was the Dave I knew from childhood. I hugged him tightly while Joanna and Rachel watched wondering what was wrong with us.

Micheal hugged me, the thought of him always trying to protect me made me emotional. He has always done that since we were kids.

“I know what to do about him, you don't have to worry, thanks for being here,” I said,

Michael's arms were strong and warm. “I'm here for you anytime, even if I go back, I will always be here, anything you need don't hesitate to let me know.”

Rachel and Joanna were still looking at us confused. “What's happening here?” Rachel asked, as we walked towards the car.

I summarized everything that had happened to them. “He was so strong that I couldn't do anything, Micheal was my lifesaver.” I laughed.

“That's so awful, hope you're okay?” Rachel asked.

I didn't know how much they all cared for me until now, “All thanks to Micheal, I'm okay.”

We stood there for some time. We hugged ourselves knowing fully well we had each other back. “Nobody messes up with us and thinks they will go scout free.” Rachel said,

The bond between us was becoming strong.

“Let's go home, we can talk more about this at home.” Micheal said,

We got into the car as we nod in agreement. Micheal drove this time as I was still shocked about the event. We drove away from the gym, as I tried to leave Mason creepy behavior behind.

As we drove away I felt a sense of relief wash over me. It was nice to have them as my family. Their concern and support was a lot to me.

While we headed home we chatted in the car, we were still talking about the incident. I knew if I was to tell my Dad about what happened he was going to deal with Mason but I didn't want him to go that far.

We got to the house, “You have to tell Dad about what happened.” Rachel said,

“Let's go into the house first, it's her choice to tell him. But I will also advise you to tell him about it.” Micheal said,

“Exactly.” Joanna said, nodding her head, while Rachel and Michael smiled.

We got out of the car, “It's good to be home.” I said, smiling. “You both will stay with me in my room tonight.”

“Definitely, we will.” Rachel said, holding my hands.

“I'm grateful to have you guys around and no doubt that I will really miss you guys.” I said,

“We're still here and we can always come around if you want.” Micheal said,

Davis Pov

I watched as they walked into the house, the way they held each other was something I liked. Even without being told I knew something had happened.

Olivia andI watched them as they walked into the house, we could only notice the way they supported each other. I don't know what had happened when they were out there but I could tell they were shaken by it.

I walked down stairs as Olivia followed me. They sat on the couch in the living room looking tired. Aa I walked down the stairs the look on their faces changed.

“Dad, you're still awake?” My daughter asked.

“Yeah, I was watching you guys from the window. Did anything happen, you guys were not this close.” I said, curiously.

Emily smiled. She knew I was right. “I watched to tell you about what happened, so sit down.”

Olivia and I sat down on the couch quickly. I was a billionaire yet I don't joke with my daughter. I don't even use my busy schedule not to be there for her. I always had her in my heart.

As we sat down I stared at them. Why was she finding it hard to tell me what it was? I only hoped it wasn't something bad. “You know you can always tell me anything.”

She took a deep breath before launching into what had happened. I listened with all concentration. I was so upset by what Mason had done.

When she was done talking I knew I had to do something there was no way I would sit back. I was going to sit back.
