Chapter 90: Family Connection

Olivia's Pov

I watched as Emily dragged Davis out of the room, Jamming the door behind her. “These two are just something else.” I laughed. It was funny to see Emily dragging Davis out of the room.

I rolled on the bed thinking about a lot of things. It was still surprising how some few hours I was trapped in the forest and now I was home surrounded with people who care for me and love me.

While my mind was filled with lots of thoughts. I slept off and after some time I was up. I knew I had slept for a long time, I tried to stretch my body while in bed when I heard the door creaking open. Davis walked in with a tray in his hand while he closed the door behind him.

“Sleepyhead, I brought some food for you, we had dinner without you because you were sleeping, you should get up and eat now.” Davis said.

“I was very tired, I guess, well what do we have for dinner?” I asked.

Davis walked to the bed, placing the tray on the bed. “I knew you must be stressed, that's why I didn't bother calling you down for dinner. Though it wasn't complete without you. You need a proper rest.”

“I can take the food back so you can rest properly.” Davis said.

I looked at him, rolling my eyes. “You really think I'm not hungry huh?” I opened the food, it was fruits and some assorted sandwiches and cheese.

I picked up a sandwich. “Uhm, this taste is nice.” I said, while my stomach growled with anticipation.

While I ate we talked about how we want our wedding to be.

“I really can't wait to put that ring on your finger.” Davis said while I smiled, taking my cheese.

Emily's Pov

I was alone in my room. It was actually boring. I knew I was used to staying in my room but this time I didn't know why I felt lonely. I shouldn't have sent my cousin's away. I sat on my bed, I just wanted to talk to someone. After a while I got a call from Mason. I was surprised.

“Hey, I didn't see you in school and when I asked Vivian she refused saying anything to me.” Mason said.

“I don't know why you are worried about my whereabouts.” I muttered.

“I was just worried that's all.” Mason said, his voice filled with concern.

“I don't get why you should be worried when you have a girlfriend.” I said.

“Why are you bringing that up?” He asked.

“And why won't I?” I asked. “What do you take me for, you really think because everyone loves you in school you can take advantage of them. Please I'm not going to be part of the girls who you flirt with.”

“Really? Is that the best thing you can say for me checking up on you?” He asked.

“What more were you expecting from me. As long as you are with Tiffany I don't think I will even want to be friends with you.” I said with a firm voice.

“Well, that's a lot for me to take.” He said.

“Who's that?” Someone asked from the other end of the phone. I'm sure that 2as was Tiffany.

“I'm talking to a friend.” Mason said.

“And what was that reaction when you saw me walking in, are you hiding anything from me?” she asked.

I guess Mason had forgotten to end the call and I wasn't ready to end it either.

“So why are you giving me this attitude, who exactly were you talking to?” Tiffany asked.

“I told you it was a friend. Why are you so worried about that, you know I got you only.” Mason said.

I tried to hold the laugh that was about to come out. “This guy is really a scam.”

“So are you done preparing dinner?” She asked.

“O my goodness.” Mason shouted.

I ended the call after that, I wasn't ready to hear anything again. I sighed heavily. “I'm so tired and bored.” I paced back and forth in my room and got up from my bed. I knew I had to at least talk to someone. Olivia was the only person I talk to when I'm bored but My dad was getting all the attention already.

I thought of going to meet my cousins. I opened my door gently and walked out of the room before closing it behind me. I walked to Doris and Rachel's room but they were not there. “Where could they have gone to?” I muttered.

I was hearing noise from the room my other cousins were staying in, they were all guys. I don't get along with them at all. We don't even talk. I really don't know why I was acting that way towards my cousins.

I walked towards their room and as I opened the door I was surprised to see Doris and Rachel with them. Their eyes were all fixed on me. I quickly closed the door. I wasn't surprised as they all fixed their gaze on me as I opened the door. “I should just go and meet them, there's no point being proud.” I muttered.

I stood at the front of the door. I raised my hand up, finding it difficult to knock. But to my surprise the door creaked open. It was one of the boys, Michael. He wasn't putting on a shit.

“You're still here?” Michael asked, with shock on his face.

“Ohh, I went to check for Rachel and Doris in their room but they were not there so I just decided to check here.” I said,

“You always want to be alone so why are you looking for them?” Michael asked

I smiled, “Well, I realized there was no point doing all of that.”

“You can hangout with us whenever you want.” Michael said.

I nodded before turning to leave, but Michael called me back. “You can join us now.”

“Nah, I will just go back to my room.” I said.

But Micheal came to my front blocking my way. “I insist you join us, we are just playing games and having fun.”

“Are you sure the rest will want me to join?” I asked, raising my eyebrow, expecting to hear an answer.

“Sure, just come with me.” Michael said,

But I didn't know how to face Doris and Rachel after all that I've said to them. I knew how funny it would be for them if they found out I was actually looking for them. “I will play games with you guys some other time.”

Micheal didn't force me. “It's fine, I will be going now.”

I turned to leave. I walked to my room and sat on my bed. “Did I really tell him was looking for Doris and Rachel?” I muttered.

I paced back and forth in my room. I knew I just wanted to talk to someone. I dialed Vivian's number to tell her about all the happenings but it wasn't reachable. I was getting worried that something was wrong with her.

I tried calling again but it still didn't go through. After a while I heard a knock on my door. I paused from whatever I was doing.
